It has been a while...

Here are some recent highlights.

To my dear Yishai, This is always a hard day for me. Remembering what we went through to get you here and to get you healthy once you were here. But I promise that no matter how hard it is for me today, I will always put that aside to celebrate you. I will celebrate your kindness - when asked to help with something, we're met with an "of course!" and when a new dog is sad that their people left, you give them extra pets and cuddles until they're happy again. Your incredible resilience - 7 weeks premature, 5 blood transfusions, ankle braces, none of it has stopped you from becoming the amazing 3 year old that you are today. Your complete and total stubborn mind that, as infuriating as it can be at times, I wouldn't change a bit because I know that you're going to need that stubbornness when you decide you want to achieve something amazing and others try to convince you its unrealistic. You are wonderful.

I'll love you forever/I'll like you for always/As long as I'm living, my baby you'll be.

Yishai’s 3rd birthday/upsherin(first haircut) is next week, so got him into his party outfit (kippah included!!!!) and took some pictures.

To my dear Kovi, You are one of the kindest souls of anyone I know. Your empathy knows no bounds. You're a wild and determined guy with a healthy dose of introversion. You're curious and bright. You're strong, in so many ways. I admire you, I like you, and I love you. Happy 5th birthday!
