I’m thinking about how White’s elevated heart rate and heightened emotional state triggered Black to wake up. I’m thinking about all the times before this when he could have woken up but didn’t. I’m thinking about White’s near-death in the fire, Sean choking the life out of him, his dangerous play in Tawi’s factory—all times when he was emotional, when his heart beat strongly. But still, it was not those moments that became the catalyst for saving Black. It wasn’t anger or hatred or fear that woke Black up. It was love.

Also love that for the sake of product placement, Google and probably the Thai government/ police force now have a nice little map marker showing exactly where to find that inconvenient UNAR guy...in a car biometrically linked to Dan...and now Grumpa apparently...

The use of physical things to illustrate internal feelings in Not Me episode 8 was brilliant.
Dan stripping naked literally and figuratively.
White being bound by his secrets literally and figuratively.
Both Sean and White falling for each other literally and figuratively.

In case anyone was wondering, yes that does link back to the site set up in support of the marriage equality bill which has recently been blocked by the thai government.
When this originally happened some artists I know of, like Jennie and OffGun, had urged thai fans to sign and show support in order to pressure the government into passing the bill. Now with Not Me they continue to spread awareness on this issue and urging the people to do the best they can to support this cause.
