Moalboal and Panagsama Beach
Moalboal is laid back little town in Cebu. At Panagsama beach, located on a peninsula near Moalboal town, the mixture of expatriates and visiting drivers from all over the world living together with the friendly Filipino Residence of Moalboal creates quite a unique community.
Moalboal is foremost known as a place of great driving. the sleepy town lies on the west coast of Cebu, about 92km south of Cebu City. Panagsama has no big sand beach but rather a rockier beach which quikly gives way to a coral reef abundant with marine life. There are plenty places nearby Panagsama that offer picturesque tropical and sand beaches for sun worshippers. Basdiot or Panagsama beach is covered with corals which makes it not ideal for swimmers and sunbathers. On the other side, the coral covered drop-offs and abysmal walls divers covet so much are just a few fin-kicks away, which makes it a prime destination for scuba divers and snorkelers. Panagsama beach is really peaceful and will definitely make you feel relax which makes it a perfect place to relieve stress. You can smell the wonderful essence of the beach, you can hear the sea breeze and feel the happiness of the people around you.
The place is very wonderful and it makes me want to encourage many people to feel what I felt when I went there. It is definitely the perfect definition of the nature's beauty. Lastly, I want people to know and be more knowledgable about our nature's beauty and how we can enhance and make it more beautiful. Let's not make our nature feel helpless, instead let's gather up and make ourselves be more proud for having this kind of nature's beauty.

"INCEPTION OF A SOCIAL CAMPAIGN"
Social media are computer-mediated technologies that facilitate the creation and sharing of information, ideas, career interests and other forms of expression via virtual communities and networks.
Social media are great for society, promoting increased communication and connection between hundreds of millions of people in the world. Online social networking can be broadly defined as any website or other type of online communication that allows people to interact with each other.
There are many social media sites, such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr and Youtube. Most of us have access to those social media sites but did you know that through the use of social media, family can easily communicate with their loved ones inside nor outside the country before and during calamities.
Due to natural disasters there is an increased communication since people seek to contact there family and friends in the disasters zone and gather information regarding the foods, shelter and their transportation. Social media has played a significant role in distributing information about these disasters by allowing people to share information and ask for help. Social media are also becoming vital to recovery efforts after crises, when infrastructure must be rebuilt and stress management is critical.
The extensive reach of social networks allows people who are recovering from disasters to rapidly connect with needed resources. There are all lot of groups in the most popular social networking sites, allowing individuals involved in various aspects of emergency awareness and preparedness to connect, discuss, and share knowledge in specific fields. The aim of the paper is to analyze the possibilities for the use of social media in the management of natural disasters and to propose basic guidelines for organizing communications and data exchange between the participants in such events.
Old media (tv, radio and print) are becoming second-tier commodities in favor of new and “improved” ways of consuming the news such as social platforms, blogs and apps. Sites like BuzzFeed have mastered the platform-specific approach to media and the onset of brand journalism has completely changed what it takes for us to “trust” a source.
Media today is completely different than it used to be when we were growing up. Back when we were growing up there was basically, a television for us to watch television series or “teleseryes” and news. Today there are televisions in every bedroom; there are now cartoons, movies and etc. On top of that there are gadgets such as laptops, phones and there are social networking sites.
