Bea Relationships!

Low (@rottmeltson) Has Bea accepted every request by Low to play a game? Yes. Has she also lost every time she’s played a game with Low? Yes. Bea always plays games with Low if they ask because Bea can’t comprehend the concept of telling somebody “no.”Even if Low didn’t cheat, she would still lose. The world is truly against her. Despite that, Bea doesn’t harbor any hatred towards the newspaper seller. She lost, probably not fair and square, and she isn’t the sore loser type. They’re most likely acquaintances, at least in Bea’s mind, but probably don’t interact enough to be friends.

Molly (@kiskister) Considering that most the time Molly sort of has a RBF, Bea would most likely be intimidated by her at first. But she learned from Reina to not judge a book by its cover, and also Vinnie seems to like her, so she must be nice. Does that mean she’ll genuinely try to form a friendship with her because she’s grown past her assumption that everyone and anyone has some secret plan to slice her throat in her slumber?… No. She will most likely keep her distance. Bea doesn’t interact with people unless people interact with her unless if you manage to form a friendship with her first. Despite that, Bea probably knows her family considering her mother has a lot of connections with a lot of people despite technically not being a Lootbag.

Laustaff (@kiskister) Expanding on the last part, like I said, she was probably familiar with some of Molly’s family. That doesn’t mean she interacted with them daily. It probably meant that one of her mother’s past coworkers had a family member who had a friend of a friend who knew them. Apart from that, they probably don’t know who Bea is and Bea doesn’t know who they are. If they interacted though, Bea would likely be overtly respectful and polite because she has always had respect for authority figures.

Mercy (@myrixnixi) Bea thinks she’s cool as fuck. Her natural aura is so powerful and Bea admires her ability to not put up with any bullshit. Bea is a little less timid around Mercy since she’s aware of the fact that she wants to make the trio happy and she respects that, but she would still not interact with her much out of fear of fucking up like she always does and saying something that would hurt her. Additionally, Bea cannot grasp why she seems to like Stone. Considering that Stone and Bea are constantly at odds, Bea has no idea how Mercy sees him in any positive light.  She’d never express this though because 1, no one listens anyways, and 2, she’s scared of pissing off Molly.

Sake(@theresbugsinmybasement) Bea wants to be like him. Confident, unapologetic, and pretty. They’d be like a mentor and mentee situation. Sake would probably try to prove to Bea that she should have more confidence in herself and not make herself a human doormat for everyone to walk on. Would Bea take this advice? Well, she’d probably nod her head, say “you’re right Sake, your so smart and I’m honored to have a friend like you” blah blah blah then go right back to letting people drain her dry of kindness. It’s the thought that counts though, right?

Reina (@v4lluvsst0n3) Holy shit do they have history. You remember Rosamie? Well you’re wrong, she never existed, Reina was actually Bea’s real mom and she was stolen from her at birth. (joking obv) But yeah they are mother and daughter goals. Where Bea has an inability to stand up for herself Reina makes up for it for threatening violence upon anyone who dare physically or emotionally harms her sad little blorbo of a daughter. Bea is incredibly thankful for Reina, because she showed her that Rosamie was not a good mother. She was never a mother at all. She was more like a dictator, punishing Bea at the slightest hint of not being the picture perfect cookie cutter daughter. 

Mincy (@sammygimmy) She’s like 90% sure she’s gonna murder her in her sleep. A grumpy blonde girl doesn’t exactly mix will with an anxious, timid mess of a girl. If they interacted, Bea would nod her head fervently and agree with anything and everything Minch said even if she told her to kill herself. Obviously Mincy isn’t going to do that though. Again, Mincy would probably advise Bea to form more of a backbone for herself in her own, edgy way. Bea would appreciate it even though she could feel the sweat trickling down her forehead.

Olive (@local-loudmouth) Yeah yeah she’s scared of him you know the drill. But they could genuinely have a really nice friendship. If Olive somehow managed to put down the teenage emo angst and if Bea managed to gulp down her fear of opening up to people, they would bond over their shared fear: not wanting people to leave them. The reason why Bea is so reluctant to let anyone take a peek into what really happened with her mother that resulted in her 3-month long absence is because she’s scared if they knew they would leave. They’d be good outlets for one another, bonding over the fact they’re both insanely fucked up.

Rosa (@r0saberry) Badass motherfucker. Bea admires her. Rosa has that chill aura, like you just feel relaxed around her. Bea probably feels more comfortable initiating conversation with her than she does other people. She thinks her music is really sick too, she’s always loved guitarists. But once again, she does not understand why she has a friendship with Stone and how the fuck she managed to do that. Again, Stone and Bea are no.1 opps who are not above killing each other in their sleep so she doesn’t get why she’s so fond of the drunkard.

So genuine question, what tips do u have for lighting and shading?

When im doing lighting and shading, i like to try and stick to 2 colors to make it more cohesive, if it makes sense? Example: If i want a drawing to feel nice and warm, for lighting ill stick to yellows and oranges for everything, and shading maybe a pinkish or reddish, and then play around with opacity

ANOTHER THING THAT I THINK ADDS TO DRAWINGS: blur. I PROMISEEEEE IT HELPS SO MUCH

I like to take layers with my shading/lighting, duplicate it, blur it, and then lower the opacity to give it a kinda glowy feel (also the airbrush tool is like my best friend, i use it at the end of drawings to do a small overlay of the lighting and shadows depending on where its coming from)
