Another beautiful pair of brows after the initial microblading appointment 💕 Permanent makeup is a 2-part process. What do we check for in the second appointment? 1. The Retention - How well your skin has retained pigment. We can only predict how well the pigment will take in your skin and hope that you get good retention. Always carry out your aftercare as instructed by your artist 2. The Colour - We will have taken into consideration your hair colour and skin tone when selecting a suitable pigment colour, but true results won't be seen until the skin has fully healed over the pigment. We can easily adjust the shade to suit you perfectly 3. The Shape - We always go easy on your first appointment and if you'd prefer to add more thickness or length, the 2nd appointment is the time to do so. A brow shape to suit you individually! The first photo is my client with her own makeup and admittedly she struggled to pencil a shape for her brows, as do most of us! Her hairs were more prominent at the front of her brow, tailoring into thinner ends. I carefully incorporated the natural thickness she had at the front, and microbladed a new shape with a soft arch to suit her. Heyyy I'm back from holiday and loving being at work 😊 I'll share a retouch with you from today - The middle photo is of the brows 5 weeks healed, after the first microblading session. This is a gold star client as she did so well with her aftercare and it makes me happy! We had to apply a little more pigment on her left brow (right of the pic) to perfect the results and we were left with these results on the bottom photo. Remember ladies, microblading is initially a 2-stage appointment. The first appointment is to lay the foundations and the second appointment is for perfecting the results, whether it be a tweak in shape or colour. For best results, I can't stress enough how important it is to follow the correct aftercare and do not pick, touch or apply anything to your brows other than the balm given! This lady had the best flow of eyebrow hairs to work with but she wanted me to create an arch as she felt her brows were a little too flat and horizontal. This lady returned for her retouch 😊 She has had eyebrow threading and waxing in the past but felt too many hairs were taken away, leaving very thin brows. It was her wish to keep her brows thicker but she felt stuck between growing out her hairs again, and being able to maintain a definitive shape. We designed some brows that preserved as much of her hairs as possible, keeping the thickness, and added microblading strokes to give more structure to the shape of her brows. By incorporating the main body of her hairs into the microblading design, we have firstly kept the need for grooming to a minimum and secondly, kept her brows looking as natural to her as possible 😊 The retouch appointment (6-8 weeks after initial procedure) is complimentary with us.
