Radically Bitter

Banner by @radfemaesthetics // I don't necessarily agree with everything I reblog, I reblog things to read later and stuff too. Feel free to ask my thoughts on a post on here, or ask my thoughts in general tbh // Lesbian // Middle Eastern // Religion, porn and gender critical // I'm also against generative AI // I'm active in fandom spaces!! Currently into Don't Starve and YTTD. I'd love media recommendations from fellow radfems since I can rarely find media that won't irk me with misogyny or constant sex. Feel free to dm me!

I was struggling with questioning whether or not I was asexual or straight for a long time, before I realised that most men experience denial of reality and that's why I don't them attractive, despite being straight. The weird mass psychosis they all have makes them all the same, like simultaneously as ick as any other vulnerable person but also scares me cus of the danger. Shows a deep lack of critical thinking, too, which is very unattractive. I have zero desire unless a man shows he's much more in tune with reality than the rest.
Facing reality is true gender non-conformity in men imo, and men like this are rare. I wouldn't tell most people but my asexuality is definitely environmental, and trauma-based. I've been this way since pre-teens, and I didn't rationalise myself into this, I can't help it. It's always confused me til I realised. It's like a switch is permanantly off unless a man is exceptional (treats women as human lol). Never heard any other woman talk about this.
I can't help but wonder if I'm just on the extreme end of a thing that's happening to a lot of straight women. I think a lot of therapy that focuses on straight women's lack of libido, etc fails to acknowledge this. There's a lot of discussion around shit like 'do the dishes = woman horny' but not really much discourse around why. Not being seen as human is like emotional castration.
A lot of people say that's demisexuality but that's never felt right. Like, I would be properly straight if I didn't live under patriarchy, frankly.
Not being seen as human is like emotional castration.
This is so real and well put.

Why are so many radical feminists friends with trans people? I simply don't understand why do you do that to yourselves and to us? I would be hurt if any of my friends turned out to be a crypto radfem and I am sure if one of them was she would be stressed by having to hide her opinions from me. I cannot be good friends with transphobic people, I resent them and feel uncomfortable with them. How can you stand being friends with people who a big part of your movement is disagreeing with? Why not just leave us be?
I’ve been friends with these people for years before I became a radfem, I’m not going to cut off half my friend circle because TRA’s have made being a radfem an offense so bad that you can’t work in left wing circles.
I’m still very much on the left and me and my friends largely want the same policies and have similar perspectives on capitalism. it is stressful to be friends with ppl who think that radical feminism is about hating trans people and and wanting to hurt them, but that’s not REALLY what radical feminism is. Sex based oppression is the core issue here
Just because I don’t think my trans friends have changed sex doesn’t means I don’t care about them as people and don’t want them to be safe and happy.
I have beef with the sections of the trans movement who deny the existence and importance of sex but like many radfems on here I don’t want HRT banned for adults

Isn't anon sooo transphobic for insinuating they want someone to be... not their authentic self... "But think of how much better you'd be if only you were exactly how I wanted you to be"
Ohhhhh I see... you just want to be a trolling bitch then :/ What a surprise the TERF is irrational and idiotic.
Honestly, when I see TERFs on here, I just think about how much better people you'd be if you were part of the trans community or ally aligned. It's really sad to see.
Do better.

Its crazy that the idea that you can be born in the wrong body has taken root within the movement that constantly promotes “body positivity” and is built upon the acceptance of human diversity. Wish they were smart enough to see the irony

I think the reason Islam is so coddled in the western left especially is because they view culture as one and the same as the people. They can't see the middle east without Islam, therefore they can't see middle easterners without Islam, therefore oppression of middle easterners in America (racism) is synonymous with anti-islam thoughts.
In a way, it's just the left being racist in their own way again.
I get a lot of backlash in leftist spaces for saying I think Islam is worse than Christianity. Even the most strongly religious Christian countries/governments do not force their women to cover from head to toe and never speak in public. I don’t believe any Christian nations have the death penalty for homosexuality either. And religious violence is more rampant in Islam than other faiths.
I do not care for Christianity either, or any religion, and I believe all religions are inherently oppressive to some degree. Christian history is full of terrible, reprehensible things, but, in modern times anyway, Islam is objectively more extreme.
I do not understand why Islam is so coddled by so-called progressive leftists.

So how are you not a terf if you post and agree with terf ideology. Do you or do you not believe trans woman are women? Do you believe a woman is defined by her genitalia (I.e the “female body” as you say)
Im not a terf bc i said i wasnt a terf. A terf is anyone who feels like a terf.

The same old story. ‘I am soooo sexy!’
The subject has nothing to do with one’s desirability, the topic of bathrooms is a part of a bigger question of women’s vulnerable spaces, female only spaces.
But yet once again, the topic is swayed to the sexiness and shag. That’s a powerful display of fighting for one’s rights.
Womanesque womanly woman.
