Hua Cheng is just so iconic to us because he is in fact a tumblr girlie. Notebook filled to the brim with sketches of his blorbo. Info dumps galore. Maximalist fashion to the nines. Outfits based on accessories. Has all of the genders under one big shapeshifting trench coat. Hates the ruling class. Excuses every problematic thing his blorbo does and stands by them in the group chats. Insane reaction to people who dislike his blorbo and says mean things about them, burning temples is the doxxing of his time. He belongs on here with us.

It was a really fun birthday this year. I went to class really early but the discussion was so good, it was worth it. Then I had to work on a presentation and got a chance to just chat with friends who also brought a slice of pastry, so we did a mini celebration in the college cafeteria. By the time I did my presentation for my last class of the day it was already 8 pm and a storm was setting in. Side note, it almost always rains on my birthday. I cycled home quickly and went grocery shopping for hot dogs with my flatmate. We were running and giggling in the rain, they gifted me the cutest stuff and a picture of me with my cat. It was the best! We then ate hot dogs and all of us were really tired so we just lazed around and watched football and retired one by one.

To add, I also had phone calls from family and friends, and some of the sweetest messages I will ever receive. Felt overwhelmed but loved it.

the one decision I am glad I acted upon is to get this bicycle before summer ends. It needs a bit of work but I love being able to wander around on it and go to places I otherwise would not be able to.

Also I almost cried at my presentation today. I am probably starting my periods soon and the text was so horribly sad.

Yesterday was a beautiful day. went swimming after class and was able to write a language exam after that. To celebrate the exam went cycling along the river and ended the day with good food. I am in love with cycling and the fact I can do it next to a lake makes my heart weep.

One of the warmest days here but couldn't resist going out mid-morning for a walk in the balmy sun. Also saw someone help a rescue duck into the water. Chatted in a cafe with a friend and on the way from campus was greeted by these gorgeous flowers. Summer is looking good.
