OKAY IVE ALWAYS BEEN ONSESSED WITH SHINSOU'S CHARACTER DESIGN BUT I WANT TO LIST SOME POINTS ON WHY ITS SO FASCINATING TO ME

My credentials: the insane amount of drawings I did of mha characters in the og style,,, just,,, so much

So I think the main reason he's so visually interesting is because he's so different then most of the other characters without being completely different like the characters with physical quirks.

Even just talking about his eyes, he's drawn in a very unique way. He has white pupils which he has in common with monoma. He has eye bags like aizawa 's. And while most of the other students are drawn with monolids or a small line near the inner crease his eyes are partially hooded. These put together just make his eyes extremely visually interesting to me.

Also still on eyes, this is less a unique design feature and more a me thing but I love drawing the shape of his eyes because of the way they slope, it's so satisfying to me.

Also his entire face shape is drawn differently. For the most part, at least for the students, face shape tends to be drawn extremely round with a pointed chin. Shinsou has a very long face with a more rounded chin comparitively.

lmao shinsou getting off on the idea that bakugou is always a mean and dangerous person based on what he sees of him in passing, only to move to class 1a and discover bakugou is actually a pretty chill straight laced dude who just wants to be left alone

naturally his immediate reaction is to provoke him nonstop so he can experience the explosive energy more regular and firsthand. it's so fucking hot (literally and metaphorically). A near feral and glowing bakugou grabbing his throat, threatening to burn him, is so intoxicating

it goes pretty well until aizawa yanks him aside and asks why he keeps pissing bakugou off for no reason and shinsou's gotta sweat through an answer that isn't "it makes my dick hard when he threatens my life

This may be controversial but can we get a fic where after Shinso gets bullied for his quirk he develops selective mutism. Thus he only uses his voice for hero stuff. Which means he predomintly signs and writes notes to communicate. The catch? His voice is heavenly. He's trained so that he can mimic any voice and sing and speak multiple languages he just dosnt use it in his daily life. I think I'd like this.

it’s very obvious when he’s attracted to someone, and because of how oblivious you are, he probably ends up believing you just don’t like him

he hesitates and starts thinking maybe he should stop trying to advance to be in a romantic relationship with you, but the girls tell him to just keep trying

so he does, and he’s quickly growing needy of your affection because you still don’t seem to understand that he likes you

when you’re talking to someone or you’re occupied, sometimes he’ll just stand or sit near you, fiddling with his fingers nervously or playing with the hem of his shirt, occasionally mumbling something in hopes that you’ll notice he’s there and wants your attention

and when you see him and begin talking to him, he has the biggest smile on his face

katsuki bakugou

definitely eventually gets a bit pissed off at how oblivious you are to his advances

like when he gives you a compliment or tries to have you do better at something and you brush it off, he groans and runs a hand down his face as he complains in his head

he ends up getting so frustrated at how you don’t understand what he wants, because at some point his intentions are so clear that the whole class knows he likes you

but he doesn’t kneel down to you and beg for your affection, though he still tries to get it as if it’s natural

sometimes he’ll ask something like “was that cool or what?” sounding like he’s complaining or agitated, but when you agree and start analyzing what he did in great detail, he rolls his eyes and softly smiles

hitoshi shinsou

he definitely tries to play off his feelings for you as something natural, acts like he’s always acted like that around you

he doesn’t often overreact or have much of a physical reaction to things, so sometimes when he subtly flirts with you and you don’t grasp onto his words and actually think about them, sometimes he’ll just stare at you disappointedly and sigh

secretly, he really wants you to reciprocate those feelings and show it even with a few words or actions, but you never seem to understand

when you’re occupied, sometimes he’ll try to pull you away whether it’s from an activity or a conversation, saying, “hey, y/n, i need to talk to you,” then when the two of you are alone, he blatantly says, “i actually don’t need to talk to you, but i want you with me right now.”

he understands you just don’t pick up on his attraction towards you and is totally fine with it, and he loves seeing the look on your face when he just says exactly what’s he’s thinking about you

I will die on the hill that shinsou should’ve won against deku, which i get it cuz todoroki, but like…anyway. He’s my favorite character of all time no joke, like i love him. Uhm my body hurts specifically elbows, wrist, knees, hips back. I’ve only been diagnosed for low iron anemia, like..some kind of cancer that i ALMOST had when i was younger, be we caught it i the early stage and was able to deal with it in like…one surgery? Idk man, im like physically not thriving.
