I haven't used it but La Mér has been a jewel in the crown of moisturizers for literally decades so it must be doing something right. Some scientist was burned in an explosion and invented it as a treatment for himself then started selling it in department stores in 1956, Estee Lauder took it over when he died. Come to think of it there's an eyelash growth serum invented for burn victims in WWII, Talika lipocils which interestingly I found out about from a 2008 interview with Danneel about her beauty products, I have pretty thick lashes but wanted to try it anyway and splurged once on it, it worked decently.
I feel like what we saw was Jensen mostly tries to use tried and true products that are quality and will last.
I'd love to know what Eric Dane's "facialist's" secret serum is. Lol Two dudes casually talking about skin care - love it.
I may get that 0.1 sample just for the hell of it. I've always been curious about La Mér.
(for what it's worth for a drug store brand I really like Olay's Super Serum, that and Olay daily moisturizer are what I use, but I get lazy so often go days without moisturizing. I try to make it a daily habit but I can never keep it up)
Gonna buy myself that 0.1 fluid ounce container of La Mer moisturizing cream for $23 on Amazon and film myself rubbing it all over my dog just to piss people off.

Kudos to the costume designers of the Boys. They really nailed that look. The silk kimono all shiny and pretty in that lighting… that shade of green so rich next to the dark bedsheets… the motif of the kimono, those giant peacocks surrounded by flowers (which is clever ‘cause his character is so pretentious)… the Gucci slippers embroidered with the tiger face… I mean come on! Crossing my fingers for a look as glorious as this one in season 5.
I love how much you picked up on, non!
I'd love to see more of this side of SB as well!

I totally think those photos of him and Danneel in his Studio City house are pot. (From 2004 or 5)

I was on the creation entertainment home page and it was talking about coming to see jensen, jared and misha at their conventions and it says “We celebrate 20 years of Supernatural with “the boys” and highlight their upcoming projects (three new television series among them)!” What 3 new series are they talking about?
We know Jensen has two…Countdown and Vought Rising.
Are they counting The Boys?
“Among them” is doing a lot work there.

Not to mention Genevieve is from a wealthy family. Lower end rich I assume but she grew up rich.
You’re still missing the point whether intentionally or not. I don’t give a fuck what Jensen advertises in GQ. Nor am I shocked and appalled that he’s rich. I do give a fuck about people like you saying there are different classes of people and that the lower classes can’t appreciate, enjoy things or need to have things spelled out for them BECAUSE they are poor. Fwiw it’s not just Jensen fans (naturally). In this particular political climate having this sort of opinion is a choice. But to hit you with another drag race quote (La Mer on toast was the first one iykyk) we all make CHOICES don’t we …
But that isn't what I said. That is what you inferred from what I wrote.
This is what I wrote:
Not everything is made for your consumption...and that's okay.
AGAIN....if you are not rich and you see an interview with someone who is rich and who is promoting products that are expensive and your first reaction is to scream WHY DOES HE SPEND SO MUCH MONEY ON THINGS, that's a you problem. There are plenty of people who are not rich (raises hand) who could not give a single fuck how much Jensen Ackles' underwear costs.
But there are other issues at play here that have nothing to do with wealth. An interview with GQ magazine is not geared toward middle-aged ladies or women in their twenties (or really women in general), and those people do tend to make up the majority of the SPN fandom.
And it is only people in the SPN fandom whining about how much Jensen Ackles' fucking suitcase costs.
That people in this fandom get so fucking butt hurt over the littlest fucking thing is why I find myself defending this rich white dude all the time lately. Because some of you just find every opportunity to get offended over stupid, STUPID shit.
