So I've been playing Two Towns DS in Japanese on an R4* and I've been wondering about something that may be either be a bug or... anti-piracy measures?

Whenever I attend a festival my animals get extremely stressed afterwards, even when it isn't raining. This didn't happen in my playtrough in the (legally acquired) EN version that I was playing...

I've only found 1 post on the matter on gamefaqs and a little bit more info googling Japanese posts.... none refer to usage of flashcards afaik...

Well, after reading some Japanese fora, I tested various methods, but no matter what I did, as soon as I got back from a cooking contest, the animals would be super stressed. Some of them up til 100% despite all of them being at 0% before I attended the contest... so of course the chance that they get sick the next day is VERY high.

The cruel way it's been implemented I can't help but think it's intentional LOL

(Like how in Earthbound they adjusted the % appearance of enemies and I think even if u reached the final boss, the game will delete ur save?)

I mean, you'd have the option of either: not attending the festivals or not holding any animals. Not attending cooking festivals means you can't progress the game "properly". Not raising animals would be tough if you were in Blue Bell but not so much in Konohana. But still!!! It's annoying...everytime the animal becomes ill its heart meter depletes and the quality of milk/eggs/wool along with it...

Well, even despite that, I wanted to purchase a hardcopy of 3ds Futago no Mura+ anyway, although I don't have an JPN 3ds to actually play it with yet 😭😭💦💦

*I have the 3ds EU version legally!!!

If I knew that I wanted to marry Cam I would've moved to Blue Bell town earlier... I feel sad that he has to walk so long to his flower shop now LOL
