What probably happened after the movie: everyone new to the universe gets their own individual places including Laura regardless of however old she is now. Vanessa does not get back together with Wade because Wade still has more to work on before she'll come back. Mary Puppins is not potty trained.
What happened after the movie according to me: Laura and Logan move in with or across from Wade and Blind Al and develop the father-daughter relationship neither of them got the chance to despite being variants of the originals. Wade and Vanessa are back together and just as in love as ever. Logan sits on the sidelines and pines into his beer as they discuss the mechanics of getting Colossus to agree to a threesome with them. Mary Puppins is not potty trained.
