Hannahrose on hermitcraft for the guest event and hermitcraft fans are throwing a fit on twt because she’s “annoying” like damn okay bro. Is she annoying or is she a woman with opinions who stands up for herself against misogyny and sexism on the internet

Past Life Final 5 fight Analysis
i wanted to do an analysis of everyone’s fighting styles during the past life final 5 showdown inspired by @cactusringed analysis on how scott always plays the game safe but instead it turned into whatever this is
Before the fight — Everyone’s varying views of a fair fight.
While they’re building the arena over the square hole, Scott says "I love the very slight lack of trust we have with each other like someone could try and take an easy little shot" - which is a fair fear to have especially for Scott who has fallen victim to that trick before.
He’s half proven right because from Grian’s POV you can see him around that time aiming his bow at Scott but ultimately not taking the shot.
Scott then suggests they don’t try to bucket clutch if they fall, to which Jimmy agrees but Grian overrules it saying "The fight continues down in the square hole [..] If you can save yourself, you save yourself" — which is something he’s definitely not going to regret saying minutes later.
Then, for what I think is a very interesting part, Gem says "Jimmy what are we doing here ? Me and you take them out. It’s me v you." — This is the first instance we’ve seen of Gem separating herself from Grian, and laying out her ideal final girl scenario : taking the win and revenge against the person she holds responsible for Pearl being gone.
We get two reactions from previous winners present :
-Martyn says "You guys wanted a new winner" — who "you guys" refers to is unclear.
-Scott says "Maybe Grian wants a repeat. Maybe Martyn wants a repeat." — interestingly excluding himself and his own thoughts on the question.
As Jimmy seems both interested and hesitant in Gem’s suggestion, she continues with "Do we let them have a repeat or do we take our moment ?" — Basically offering that her and Jimmy renounces the fair fight and take their fates into their own hands instead.
Two things : one, it’s entirely cut from Gem’s POV. Two, in Martyn’s POV, the two times she brings this idea, the purple eye flashes on the screen — which I’m taking as a call back to his limlife win in which he won by doing exactly that.
Jimmy’s response to Gem is "We try as much as we can" which is probably not the best move for his chances at victory in this moment but really a perfect summary of his character arc though the life series.
The fight breakdown (color coded to see who’s targeting who)
Scott stays in his corner and starts aiming at Jimmy, before defending against Martyn who comes at him and then aiming at Gem. Her and Martyn then push him off and he falls to his death.
Jimmy switches his water for cobwebs in his hot bar and then aims at Grian who’s shooting him, before going to Gem’s corner and being pushed by her to his death out of the square hole.
Gem goes for Scott first before switching to Jimmy and taking him out. She then makes Martyn fall and his immediately pushed to her death by Grian.
Grian barricades himself with cobwebs in his corner and just focuses on shooting at Jimmy for a while. Martyn then pushes him out of the arena and when he gets back, Grian pushes Gem thinking Martyn’s already dead.
Martyn immediately goes for Scott, then for Gem, and finally for Grian, chasing him out of the arena, the back to Gem who make him fall down but he survives by clutching.
Some thoughts and observations :
-Scott, unsurprisingly doesn’t play aggressive and stays tucked in his corner the whole time and is more on the defensive, but going for Jimmy first out the the four is crazy. Before the fight he also threw the music disc down the hole saying he’ll play it again when he catches himself after falling. (this is cut from his POV cause he very much doesn’t catch himself.)
-Grian very much tunnel vision on taking Jimmy out, which falls in line with his desire for to see Jimmy’s series ending by his hand. The way he goes at it is very Grian Core : trying to cause death but from a safe distance. Also his betrayal of Gem happens barely seconds after he thought Martyn was gone.
-Martyn and Gem both play very aggressively and are the two who aren’t anyone’s first target. Martyn is also the only one to not try to attack Jimmy once, as he did earlier tell him that he wouldn’t try to kill him before the final two.
-While the countdown is happening, Gem is looking at the moon.
-LimLife Martyn "Oooooh that feels good!" vs Past Life Martyn "I feel sick, I don’t know what to do" after winning okayyyyyy okayyyyyyyyy #normal

I thought you liked catholics?
That’s a fetish. Good for roleplay but not earnestly irl. I like their horny art. But ultimately the Catholic Church is an enemy of humanity.

(Jaiden in the background is starting introduction of the debate.)
Pierre: (Whispering) Roier, do you want some bricks?
Roier: (Whispering) Yes, yes, yes.
(Pierre gives Roier a stack of bricks.)
Roier: Oh, yes. Yes. Give me that.
(Roier throws a brick at Jaiden as she’s speaking.)
Jaiden: It says, Welcome introduction is- (Gets hit by brick) Ow! Bricks!
(Jaiden throws a brick back hitting Antoine.)
Antoine: It wasn’t me!
(Roier does a troll face.)
-
Jaiden: I’m just winging it. They gave me an outline and I think I’m too stupid to understand so we’re doing it my way.
Roier: No, don’t say that Jaiden! Don’t say that.
Jaiden: (Turns to Roier) Thank you, thank you. Here’s a friendly brick.
(Jaiden throws a brick at Roier.)
Roier: AH!
Jaiden: Okay, so-
(Roier throws a brick back at Jaiden.)

tfw "popular" fanon becomes so embedded in a fandom & discussions within fandom spaces that people just start treating it as the default and all interactions with others are coloured by this interpretation. have you considered that I actually don't subscribe to this take, which is nowhere in the source material? wait nvm, clearly not.

everyone's rightfully devastated about cool minigames going away or worried about people not finishing up everyone they wanted to do. me personally I'm mourning the postal system before it's dead. I know you were infrequently used and painful to create but you carried on the tone set early on by the hermits of easy casual sociability. you also gave us the gift of bdubs threatening to send joel a bomb in the mail so I'll never forget you
