What's a Reverse Trope, you may ask? You simply take a common fanfic trope and flip it on its head. "There's Only One Bed" turns into "There's Too Many Beds" and so on.

Now Tony needs to figure out how he can repeat the experience with less tentacles and more actual human contact. And also why the hell Steve seems to be the only one on the team who isn't down for some casual Tony cuddling.

The Shatterdome's Multi-fandom Pacific Rim Challenge

To celebrate the movie's tenth anniversary this year, The Shatterdome discord server is hosting a Flash Bingo. This is a small, Pacific Rim-themed event open to ALL THE FANDOMS!

I’ll list some info below but feel free to check out the AO3 collection (for full FAQ, Rules, Prompts, etc) and join the Discord if you’re going to partake (or just lurk, we don’t bite much)!

“Hey,” Tony says. Steve’s heart thunders in his chest, his hands twitch by his side and he folds them under his chest to keep them from doing something stupid. They just look at each other for a moment. Tony registers the signs of age around Steve’s eyes, the glimpses of silver in the pale blonde of Steve’s hair. Steve takes in the pinked scar curving around Tony’s eye and jaw, and his prosthetic arm. Steve feels like he’s a second away from breaking apart after months of clinging onto the pieces of himself. “Hey,” he replies, instead of all the other things he wants to say.

The Shatterdome's Multi-fandom Pacific Rim Challenge

To celebrate the movie's tenth anniversary this year, The Shatterdome discord server is hosting a Flash Bingo. This is a small, Pacific Rim-themed event open to ALL THE FANDOMS!

I’ll list some info below but feel free to check out the AO3 collection (for full FAQ, Rules, Prompts, etc) and join the Discord if you’re going to partake (or just lurk, we don’t bite much)!

The event in a nutshell:

The bingo will run from May 1, 2023, to January 1, 2024

No fanwork minimums; anyone can create content for any fandom

There are 5 cards with 5 prompts each (i.e., 25 total prompts). They range from Locations, Jaeger Tech, PPDC Roles, Quotes, and Writing Styles.

You can create a fanfic, artwork, podfic, fanvid, gifset, or mood board for your fills

Mainly just for fun and to get more involved in the fandom communities!
