Yes. Yes that is the problem because dictionary definitions are thrown in our faces all the time to tell us that oppression does not exist or is "experienced by everyone" or whatever, but if the dictionary was written by someone that doesn't experience that oppression, then yes--there's a disconnect between the way that language has been defined and the people USING that language. 

There. Is. No. Such. Thing. As. Racism. Against. White. People. And I'm going to try and make this as clear to you as humanly possible. 

What makes something an -ism (racism, sexism, ableism, ageism, cissexism, etc.) is that the prejudices that they experience are SYSTEMIC. That means that there are governmental and organizational systems in place that perpetuate those prejudices. 

Governments and organizations don't discriminate against white people. White people were not enslaved. White people are not murdered in the street because they were assumed to be thugs. White people don't get followed around stores because store clerks assume they're going to steal something. White people don't get called "exotic" and "interesting" or get sexually fetishized for their whiteness. White people get to see themselves represented in virtually all pieces of american media--no, fuck that, they get to see themselves IN ALL PIECES OF MEDIA.

But it's not at all unusual to see TV shows and movies that have only white people in them. It's not unusual to see POC characters played by white actors instead of an actual actor of that ethnicity. I can't walk into a store without a clerk up my ass and side eyeing me because I'm latina. That just doesn't happen to white people. Violent crimes are committed against people of color every day and the people that commit those crimes walk free. It's not like this is a one-off thing. 

Plain and simple, racism gets people harassed, assaulted, raped, even killed. So-called "racism" (which we've learned in this little essay isn't actually an ism at all because white people are not oppressed at all so please stop saying that) against white people? Pisses off a couple of white kids on the internet. That's it. That's all that happens. So kindly shut up about it. 

PS: Stop calling white people Caucasian. That's not actually a word for white people. Caucasian people are actually a group of people of color, and the word has been appropriated (stolen) from them. You think you're being "politically correct to white people!!" by using it, but you're not. It's not their word to begin with. It's not your word. Thank you.
