So... that new reveal for Chapter 2... friggin insane, right? /slapped

It is absolutely a delight to see the debut of our protagonist for Chapter 2, Alan! Seem like he is in a pretty complicated situation, with the mention of him being in a contract with the demonic monster, Iblis

Also, Franken making a comeback in Chapter 2?! And not only that, IS HE WEARING RESEARCHER KAIS'S ATTIRE?! NSLRJGLKDNFGTBH-

((Kais never actually got a localized name, but based on auto translator, his name supposedly read as Kais, so yea-))

But out of all of that, the one that blew my mind... is of course...

CHARLES.

TRAVELLER. FRIGGIN. CHARLES.

LOOK AT THAT HAIR, ATTIRE, WEAPON- HECK, THE BATTLE MOTION AS WELL, I SAW CHARLES USING DOUBLE STRIKE, AND I KNOW SOMEONE WHO KNOWS THAT ATTACK AS WELL-

HECK, EVEN RACHELLE HAVE MADE THE CONNECTION BY HAVING CHARLES'S NAME BEING RELATED TO CHARLES DE BATZ CASTELMORE D'ARTAGNAN, WHICH IS THE PERSON THAT INSPIRES DARTAN'S NAME-

And with that, please do let me to scream and rambles about all of the stuff that went through my mind eversince I saw Charles here- And let me tell you, it will be a very, VERY long wall of text-

CAUTION: - Very long text - Mention of Alternate Timeline - Major Spoiler for JOJO: Stone Ocean

Because JOJO is the very thing that remind/inspire me of the alternate timeline stuff- /slapped

First off, let me start this long ass text with me talking about JOJO: Stone Ocean Why this one in particular? Because the main Villain; Pucci's ability

Pucci's end-game ability is to fast-forward time with the power of gravity. The fast forward is so great, that it lead not only to universe's end, but the to the birth of universe as well

And in the finale of JOJO: Stone Ocean, Pucci managed to kill the Main/Key Characters; Jolyne and Jotaro, fast-forward the whole universe, and managed to create a new alternate timeline in which Jolyne and Jotaro never existed, and were replaced by new character that looks like them, but completely different.

So... why am I bringing up JOJO amidst this? Because of that alternate timeline stuff, and how it can be connected to Dartan and Jeanne from Oreca Battle 1

Do you remember how Dartan's chapter ended in Oreca Monster Retsuden?

With Dartan using the gun, which let him travel back in time to fight Abusir, in which making Saqqara crumble to dust as if he shouldn't be existing in this reality

But this ability also had a draw back, in which it makes Dartan's existence to be erased as well Because changing the past this drastically will, of course, have a severe consequences

But despite already having his existence erased, Jeanne somehow were able to remember about Dartan At the very least in the game version, according to Hero Jeanne's cut-in with Doctor in OB 1 New Chapter 2

Despite everything that happened to Dartan, after finally evolving into Infinite Hero Jeanne, she was able to be reunited with Infinite Musketeer Dartan

And now, do you see how these two supposedly shouldn't be able to exist in the Oreca timeline?

Dartan who shouldn't stay existing after defeating Abusir/messing with the past

Jeanne who shouldn't be able to remember Dartan's existence or even able to meet with him

And do you see how these two also share a title of "Infinite", or 『無幻』 in their Japanese version names?

Here's where my crack theory from JOJO will take place /slapped

Infinite Musketeer Dartan and Infinite Hero Jeanne are supposedly being that shouldn't be able to exist within the Oreca Battle 1 timeline, and somehow they became an existence that is beyond any of the existing timeline within the world of Oreca Thus the title "Infinite" was bestowed upon these two who are able to cross the boundary of time and space

So... what if... If we hypothesized(?) Oreca Battle 2 being an alternate timeline from Oreca Battle 1 ((Which can be proven with Powan's appearance and how she became Red Mage Powan, tho this also can be disproven if Powan got her old 4☆ form from OB1)),

in this new timeline of Oreca Battle 2, Dartan (and possibly Jeanne as well) is removed from the timeline, and instead was replaced by Charles?

Charles being an almost exact copy of Dartan, down to even his attack pattern, makes me more prone to believe that Charles is an alternate version of Dartan

All of the stuff from the manga that makes Dartan supposedly stuck in the past or even nowhere, Jeanne who somehow able to meet and talk again with Dartan as well- I MIGHT SOUND LIKE I'M TALKING IN CIRCLE, BUT CAN YOU SEE WHAT I SEE????

FRIGGIN CHARLES AS THE NEW STAND-IN FOR DARTAN WHO SHOULDN'T EXIST ANYMORE- DO YOU SEE WHAT I SEE??? /slapped

Also, I wanted to mention this line from Prophet Sybil's cut-in with Light, mentioning how "the time on this planet (presumably the world of Oreca?) will continue to rotate in infinite circle"

((I'm using auto-translator for this, so I might be interpreting this line wrong))

Eversince my good friend; Enzina, mentioned this line from Prophet Sybil to me, I have always been under the impression that the world of Oreca is bound to start over everything in the Oreca world to the very beginning, again and again

And thought it might sound strange, this impression is how I come to the conclusion that the world of Oreca Battle 2 is an alternate timeline to Oreca Battle, instead of being a direct sequel/continuation from the previous game

A Mother in Her Younger Days: "Adventurer Anel" Released!

yay, i finally get to see what Missanga's mom looks like outside of flashbacks! eh? "younger"? so this is actually Anel before she even got together with Muzzle and started a family? ORE'N has dimension shenanigans, and now we have time shenaningans too??? I don't think Evil God Satako summoned her because she only really likes creating havoc for fun. who was the one who did it, then?

and it seems like you can encounter her if you have Hero and Twin Heaven Style Missanga on separate days. so theres definitely going be "past parent and future child" interactions in their cut-ins.

my reasoning for writing her name like i did is related to a spoiler for Missanga Route and i dont want to explain that specifically right now. but to be brief, she is associated with the angels. most of the angels in ORE'N have names based off French words related to minerals and gemstones. "anel" means "ring" in several languages, including French and Portuguese. people put stones on rings, so yeah.
