   Once a nerd, always a nerd, Katarina lamented to herself as she woke up and yawned. She tried hard to bat away the last dredges of sleep with her eyelashes as she pulled herself from her covers and the last remnants of her dream. A dream that had been full of joy for another world which turned into homesickness of a peculiar sense in this world.

   It was a dream, she was fairly certain. The elements of it were all scattered and mixed up, a dream borne of multiple memories, turned into a hearty and hodgepodge stew that left her hungry in the heart, not the stomach. Katarina sighed to herself as she got up and let some light into her room. Anne would likely be down any minute to let her know that breakfast was available in the dining hall with all the other students.

Might as well put this here—

This is a fic idea that I would like to write, but I don’t think I’ll be abke to do so for quite some time so I’m sharing it

So, let’s say… members of the main Hamefura cast end up having to deal with dark magic once again, with some of them finding themselves in the grasp of said dark magic in a sort of construct that the magic has made.

In this construct, the dark magic ends up creating the ‘Fortune Lover’ version of the member of the harem. Or, more accurately, a version of the person where they are twisted to show their greatest insecurities and problems about themselves in a more twisted level. With that version having a viewpoint which they strongly believe in and believe is the absolute ‘truth’

In order for the person to leave this dark magic construct, they have to talk to them and also help their version understand that their viewpoint *isn’t* the truth. Until the person is able to put the spirit to ‘rest’. And thanks to the person being able to put the spirit to rest, the dark magic created spirit then turns into a sort of familiar/companion to the said person. Acting as a sort of spirit that they could talk to.

Examples of some of the spirits made by the dark magic I guess:

(I’ll be using DM(dark magic) to separate the spirits from the actual people)

DM!Katarina believes that everything and everyone will always have the motive to hurt her, to take advantage of her, and to turn her into someone they can control. So she thinks the only way to protect herself against it is to hurt them before they can get too close. Allowing herself to embrace the role of the villainess and believe that everything will eventually hurt her in the end so she can be prepared for it all, so that she can never be hurt again.

DM!Maria believes that despite her wishes and countless attempts at sharing her love in its entirety, all that she will ever be able to do is hurt. That her existence was made to hurt others even if she never intends to and that she will never be able love and care as she wishes too because she is too weak and cowardly to help the people she cares about when things go downhill. So she thinks the best thing she can do is not allowing herself to come close to others, to run away from others in fear that she may hurt them too

I just think it would make for some fun character exploration and stuff :]
