just had to make some fanart for @claranon‘s AMAZING fic, What Happens in Phnom Nonh!! Holy crap it checks all the boxes of good fic AND THEN some that you didn’t even realize you wanted! I don’t want to spoil anything (well I guess the drawing is a bit of a spoiler lol) but it is 100% a must read for any DQXI/ Jade/Hendrik fan! 5 stars!

@claranon gave me the wonderful idea to draw Hendrik as he might have looked competing in the (10th?) MMA tournament in Octagonia! i figured he would have some very elaborate warrior-like mask (with horses bc he loves horses LOL) matching his signature black and gold armor.

Earlier today there was a livestream presenting some of the new features of DQ11S, and near the end of the stream they showed off some character themed drinks that will be sold at a bar in Roppongi. The ones for Hendrik and Jasper look really cool.

I think it’s worth noting that Hendrik’s has a hidden mushroom on the back of it, to reference his favorite food being mushrooms, while Jasper’s drink seems to be based on fruit sandwiches, which are his favorite food.
