🌟 A Plea from Gaza: Rola’s Story 🌟

Hello, my name is Rola, and I am a mother of two children living in the Gaza Strip. Our lives were once filled with love, laughter, and dreams for the future. But everything changed on October 7th, when the war shattered not only our home but our entire world.

That morning, my family and I were enjoying coffee together on the balcony. Out of nowhere, an explosion erupted, shaking our home violently. My husband and son ran for cover, falling over each other in panic, while I stood frozen, still holding my cup, unable to process the chaos around me. When I looked out the window, I saw that our neighbor’s house, once filled with life, had been reduced to rubble. Ambulances rushed to the scene as people scrambled to rescue the injured and pull bodies from the debris.

The bombings didn’t stop. At night, the rain poured heavily, and the cold seeped into our bones. I stayed awake, covering my children to keep them warm and praying for their safety. But safety is an illusion here. Another explosion shattered the night, and our neighbors’ home was destroyed. Their children, who had been sleeping peacefully under a blanket, were found lifeless, their cover soaked in blood.

I looked at my children with tears in my eyes and thought, How can I protect you? We had to flee our home with nothing but the clothes on our backs. We left behind my children’s toys, their clothes, and their beautiful bedroom. Everything we had worked so hard to build is gone.

Our Current Reality Now, we are displaced and living in a nightmare. Food is scarce, and prices are unimaginably high—$10 for a kilo of sugar! The fear of death hangs over us constantly. My children deserve a life of joy and hope, not one defined by fear and loss. Why can’t we live like everyone else—go to work, visit family, and watch our children play in safety? Why do our children have to grow up surrounded by death and destruction?

How You Can Help I am pleading for your kindness to help us rebuild our lives. I once had a funny thought “haha what if turtles showed Casey a series of one of my favorite animated films?” And then I analyzed the 1st equestria girls movie and realized how many parallels there are between Casey and Twilight Both: - go to another dimension to pick up the stolen artifact and save the world from the “apocalypse�� - sent there by their teacher/their sensei - looking for their friends/family - getting used to the new world - they stress that it doesn’t work out I think Casey would’ve watched it and thought “o mi gosh… she’s… she’s so me……. TT” And then Twilight goes back to her old friends and teacher and Casey is just (: |: )_: end of my weird thoughts thank you x)

Tmnt 2012 au

So this IS HEAVILY INSPIRED by lfls by @eternalglitch , And this was supposed to be the alternate ending of that once episode, that is clash of the mutanimals. Seeing raph get picked by his controlled friends (Rockwell and Slash) and getting taken by them made me like ooh angst, and the fact they picked raph since he has that fighting spirit, and is a great warrior amongst his brothers (dw the bros' are great warriors as well frfr) , AND THAT ONE SCENE SJDFASF WHERE RAPH WAS STRAPPED ON A TESTING TABLE WITH HIS FRIENDS RIGHT BESIDE HIM JUST STANDING THERE

while he tries to snap his friends out of it he tries to "wriggle" off the tight straps, and they just stood there as if they don't hear his calls (ofc their controlled duhhh)

SLASH JUST FR MADE HIM STOP MOVING

AND THE PLACE WHERE THEY PUT THE BRAINWORM, (He def will be scared of worms after that ig), SO yeah after that happens Tigerclaw tells shredder that they should put a "shock" collar on him if he ever gets out of the control of the brain worm, and so shredder agrees and tells the fly man (I forgot his name..) to create a shock collar, and so he creates it using some kraang tech ( Idk how they got it but they got it lesgo) He created a manual button for the shredder and others in case of emergencies, There are like 4 or 3 modes or levels of the shock (Idk yet I'm thinkin' abt it)

So yeah, raph wakes up in that weird room, (Where they fought that shredder in that ep) And so Shredder tests the brain worms performance ( Yeah I forgot how it goes on the episode so yeah imagine it) And the moment the crew ( Leo, Mikey, Donnie, Leatherhead) Barge in raph was about to end shredder but he stopped when shredder said enough, Leo shouted "Raph do it end this!"

Donnie says "What is he waiting for?!" (I think?) And then yeah SHredder says raphael is mine now to control,

Then leo runs to shredder to slash him but then raph stops him, Leo shouted "Raph snap out of it man, Shredder's the enemy!" Raph counters it and says

"You are the enemy"

And they fight and so on yadayada,

Leo goes like "raph you gotta break Shredder's control, this isn't you! Where's that crazy temper?"

Then rapahel goes "Don't be a fool, theres nothing you could say Leonardo" And they fight yeah again

Leo says "Ah I think I get it, you can't feel emotion because your shredder's puppet" Then he starts to get angry, " As a matter of fact I bet you like doing whatever shredder tells you" Leo added, " You probably love it!" Leo said

Then raph starts to get more and more angry,

(GAHAHAHAH I'M SO GLAD I DID THIS SS) A feeling reached his throat as If he wanted to puke, Then ( aNOTHER FUNKY SCREENSHOT AHAHAHAH)

After that

Raph got out of SHredders control.. But then As he saw that Raphael was no longer responding to his orders Shredder Asked stockman to explain what happened to the worm,

He replied "I dont no Ssszzir.." Then he gave the control for the collar and explained blah blah blah. He pressed the button then the collar started beeping (3 beeps) Then raph pushed leo away because he doesn't know what'll happen, so yeah raph gets shocked, his brothers are just there, eyes wide.

I plan on redesigning the turtles, but wanted to share this old ones 'cuz I think they're pretty solid !! I have more doodles of Raph and Donnie than Mikey and Lee, but is still a work in progress :)

Seeing TMNT aus i always noticed a big lack of disabled Raph rep, so I took matters into my own hands!! Look at him go with his hotwheels crutches !!

I love this little evil genius and his silly mask-bun, and the concept of Donnie being the physically strongest and biggest brother was too good to let it pass !!

The Transfem Leo headcanon from 2012 is one of my favorite things, so I obviously did it in my au! Also love her socks, this kid is fabulous !!

This little fireball of a child is so chaotic and bouncy! Holding anger issues and a will to fight just as big as his big brother, they're a spicy duo !!

I'm kinda sad to not have doodles of Mikey and Lee, but I swear I'll make them tons of doodles when I catch up with working on this au again :)
