My sister and I have been binging The Sandman quite a few times and we were wondering about where in the timeline does the Calliope episode fit? My sister and I theorized between episodes 5 and 6 but we aren't sure and are very curious
Calliope starts a few years before Dream escapes, and finishes after episode 10.

I'm excited for Sandman! But I'm disappointed that Death doesn't have her eye tattoo as I love that part of her character design, if it's to do with colour palette couldn't it have been done in silver? Was there a reason for the choice to leave it out?
Death doesn't do the eye of Horus make-up (it's make up, not a tattoo) until Season of Mists.
Here's her initial appearance in Sandman 8
Here she is in Sandman 13
And Sandman 20
She doesn't add the curlicue until she reluctantly gets dolled up for the fancy party in Sandman 21
Everybody involved is very detail-conscious, don't worry.

some Black and White Scott McDaniel artwork.
for the record, Scott is at least as fast as Mark Bagley. Scott is one of the only guys in comics that could probably do full interior pencils for 2 books a month, and he could probably handle some covers and pinups too. when DC Trinity was being published, Mark Bagley penciled the first 11-16 pages of every issue, and Scott did the rest. Trinity was the weakest of DC’s weekly titles, but you gotta give respect where it is due because basically 2 very good Pencil Artists with extensive resumes for each of them handled the illustrations for a weekly book for a whole year, and they never missed a beat. Scott is legitimately one of the best and easily one of the nicest, and definitely one of the most professional artists in the business. that dude rocks, and he is heavily underrated.
