I started by drawing Fitzroy bc seems pretty straightforward to go from preppy boy to preppy girl. Argo was rough. I really thought about giving her a mustache. And then Firbolg is like. There truly is nothing to be done unless I got really obnoxious with flowers which I could not bring myself to do lmfao

Yeehawgust Day 1: Stars of the Midnight Range

It's time to saddle up for a month of western-inspired prompts, and what better way to start than with this one, inspired by a classic Johnny Bond tune. "Stars of the Midnight Range" was originally recorded for the 1943 film Arizona Trail, though I'm sure many of y'all know it best from its appearance on Mojave Music Radio in Fallout New Vegas. And what better a song to listen to on those long, lonely desert nights?

WELL I had planned to do an attack every day

But I got 15 done for my first art fight. and thats still pretty good.

Well since I did cats last week I had to do dogs this week. I'm embarassed to say I think these turned out better than the cats, since I've been drawing cats my whole life lol.

I'm so freaking jealous of people who can do plants and landscapes. Like people who can make intricate botanical drawings and people who can do that and layer it in such a way that it looks like a beautiful landscape full of plants. The patience involved is just mind boggling to me

And I know I COULD do this too but I am just not directing my energy reserves to this task at this time

Yeehawgust 2025: Stars of the Midnight Range

Time to get back in the saddle, folks! It’s time for Yeehawgust year 7 and there are starry skies ahead.

Yeehawgust features daily art prompts as well as alternative weekly prompts, for those of us who are a bit slower on the draw. Don’t draw at all? No problem! Submit any art at all, be it illustration, comics, writing, fanfiction, photography, embroidery, sculpture, music, or whatever other creative endeavors you might enjoy. What matters is that you made it with your own hands, and all skill levels are welcome! 

Maybe you love media like Red Dead Redemption and Fallout: New Vegas, or you’re a fan of the western genre. Perhaps you want to see your blorbos in boots and spurs, or put your OCs in a Stetson. Heck, you could just like drawing horses. Whatever the reason, you’re welcome to join in, pardner!

I have been drawing stuff for it but I feel awkward about posting OCs that are not my own (particularly since I've mainly been attacking strangers lol) on here so that's why I haven't shared them Lol

This is also my first official drawing with Clip Studio Paint and I felt so clumsy the whole time LOL.. it was a good starting practice 😅
