i am shitty that i finally found my long lens for the old nikon (in the secret draw in the wardrobe with the christmas work shirts and the car rego a very normal place to stash a lens) too late for the eclipse but i did get a couple of kind of fun shots off my reliably atmospheric little olympus that are really giving "ball" and i took a photo of the still massive old guy tonight and found my photos of the last? i think eclipse i sat up with some time ago to see what could have been

Something I need to be reminded of often. Yes, I'm very lazy and also have executive problems up the wazoo (the difference? laziness is fun), but the cultural expectation of being productive every waking moment isn't healthy either. And the business of feeding ourselves is especially fraught these days.

Turns out yeah it was no fun to use the way it was and I did need a greater selection of dusty browns to achieve inner peace

I know this is mad but I’m a huge fan of the palette system for digital work since I don’t have to fiddle to find the Correct red shade for blushing cheeks but after many years they were a huge frigging rats nest so I was very brave and culled a bunch of duplicates and consolidated the rest in a way I can navigate
Maybe not so brave so as to delete the mass of useful-beige palettes yet but a strong effort all the same
#guys I just love to put things into the correct place#what is the correct place here and why did the correct order change today? we just don’t know#I do know that the coding that lets you move the boxes around is fucked and will make you loose your hair if you haven’t already which is#how mine got so bogged down#anyway boy do I ever favour a warm tone huh#and the correct shade most of the time for blushing cheeks is always more orange or purple than I think it is which is where this selection#of egg shell colours come from which I think I could use some more work since I can see I chopped too many medium tones that I’ll want later#ratts complaints department

23 years old and I just made the connection that people on the northern hemisphere have a different view of the moon than people on the southern hemisphere.
