Quite proud of my backgrounds on this one.

also I realized this is like only the second time I’ve drawn eglantine so I’m definitely going to focus on her more, just not sure where

I’ve been hearing this song everywhere I had to make a piece based on it and I’ve seen quite a few people wishing for me to make more gog content!!!1

The lip-sync is quite off because I animated the characters separately from the music

what do you think of kludd joining the pure ones all because he wasn’t appreciated at home and hating soren because he's good at branching?

Kludds' decision felt out of place to me when I first watched the movie, though when backtracking, I can notice kludd having many of the ideals from the very beginning. I think his decision to join the pure ones was out of greed, so that he may be better than his brother at something and be apart of what he was convinced was the real and powerful group rather than the fictional one that soren believed in. His actions reflect a teenager who is acting out against society and his family, and they utilize that against him and brainwashed him into a cult like setting.

do you think soren should have realized kludd was far too gone to be saved in the movie?

While it may have been obvious to me and other viewers, I can understand the love for your brother or family member clouding your judgements of them. I believe soren acted based on memories of kludd and not of his current actions or mindset. The realization from soren would lead me to think that he had given up on his brother when it felt completely out of character for him. Though I can not say much as I am a movie fan and I haven't really read the books. ( ;´･ω･`)

Hey! Sorry if this is an odd way of responding, new to this app haha. My two key things is direction and speed! The quicker the line, the lighter it may seem, same with slowing down the lines are darker. For me i gotta visualize the 3d of the object and use the shading as contour lines around the shape rather than straight downward lines. My example is quite rushed sorry about that. I do reccomend looking at texture references online aswell, mixtures of stippling and hatching can make some sick textures.
