Do we think that one day, in the future, he’s gonna wake up from a nightmare, thinking Bobby is dead, and he’ll call him? The phone will ring and ring and ring but no one will answer? Then he’ll be met with silence. And then he’ll realize that nightmare became his reality and he’ll never get to hear Bobby’s voice ever again?

My mom had a stroke six months ago, and it was touch and go for two months afterwards (if I’m honest, I think it still is to this day).I almost lost her, haven’t really fully gotten her back (don’t know if I ever will).

When I heard about Bobby, my first thought was Buck, May and Harry.

But mostly Buck- because that is the closest thing that man has to a father. And it happened with no warning. Just- Bobby just died.

So naturally, I did what I always did whenever a storyline hit me hard- I started to write a coda, to make it better or to pour my feelings out, as I always did.

Except- I can’t.

I’ve been trying to for the past three days and for the life of me I can’t find the words to write, I can’t even tap into any sort of creative space in my head, almost like I’m numb.

I keep thinking if this was six months ago, I would’ve written it easily. But now my mind literally goes blank when I even try.

I always heard how artists channel their pain or grief or experience into their art/writing. How do I do that? Seriously, if sb has any experience, let me know?

bobby really did everything in that moment to protect buck. let him explicitly know he loved him. sent him away so he wouldn't have to witness his death. told him the others would need him to give him a purpose, a lifeline so he wouldn't drown in his grief.
