Ray looked horribly confused.  “What does her car look like?” He asked as he looked around. He thought he would have seen a car if it was around… he even had cameras everywhere near magenta…

She fell asleep almost right away, definitely too tired to stay awake any longer. Her breath slowed down as her body eventually relaxed, letting her finally rest.

Ray sighed as he tried to fall asleep. Sleep just couldn’t find him. He figured it must just be that he doesn’t normally sleep. He decides just to watch her.

"It feels too good. " David admits quietly and tries to hide his face better on your shoulder. The color from his face is spreading down his neck and reaching for his shoulders and chest as well. It lightens the further it reaches though. "Can we just stay like this for a moment." he adds embarrassed and trying to calm himself down so he won't completely lose his control.

Ray sighed happily and nodded. “Anything you want,” He replied softly, placing a kiss on his neck.

*shakes my head and carefully takes his hands in mine* I can’t ask you to do that. Not for me. It’ll make you sick and I don’t wanna risk you working yourself to death. ( You’re back!! Hope you’re doing well!! 💚 )

Ray shook his head. “No no. You can’t leave me!” He almost yelled. He started to run his fingers through his hair. “You promised...”

She sighed softly, carefully wrapping one hand around him, as if wanting to make sure he won't just run away when she falls asleep. "...Good night" she whispered.

He sighed softly as he closed his eyes. “Good night, my Dear,” He hummed.

Ray smiled. “I protect this place from mean people,” He replied simply, knowing he couldn’t go too much into it. I do a lot of computer work,” He added. “I’m glad you had a friend but I’m sure you'll be able to make more friends here,” He replied.

Ray looked at her, a happy stooper apparent on his face. “Mmm... Anything you want~” He purred softly, almost looking like he could take a cat nap right in her arms.

Ray frowned as he looked over to her. “I’m so sorry, Love...” He said softly. “Is there any way I can make it up to you?” He asked as he looked over and started to pet her ears. 

Ray softly mumbled as he stared to wake. He let out a soft sigh as he opened his eyes to smile at her. “Hello, My Darling~” He hummed softly.

Ray looked worried when he saw her wince and quickly moved. “Y... Yes of course. I’m sorry, Love,” He said, not wanting to cause her pain.

Before Ray could even control himself his eyes were glued to the string. It wasn’t much longer than he was swatting at it playfully as his tail swished from side to side.

((Hello all! Corgi is back and ready to reply to stuff. I know I have a few new followers so hello and thank you to all of you! I’m so happy to be back and in better spirits. Also I think I have replied to all my messages. I plan on starting some new threads later. I do plan on not responding as fast as I used to but I hope that means the quality of my replies will be better. Thank you all for your kind words of worry and patience as I get myself back together.))

"Ray~ please." He pleads you again after moaning deeply. He can feel the blood rushing to his face as well as other places. 'Gods, he's so embarrassed.'

Ray smiled as he pulled away slightly to place a kiss on David’s cheek. “Yes, My dear?” He asked softly.

Saeran took and uneasy sigh of relief. He was so stressed at times. Often he felt like she should be doing more than he was... especially when he couldn’t mentally do more...  He’d bog himself down with worries. It was so good to know that he wasn’t being an airhead with his second chance... 

“H... How do I know which is myself?” He decided to ask the reaper softly. “I... I have feelings that don’t feel like mine at times and I try my best to push them down but... there’s a lot of anger inside me... Towards a lot of people....” He admitted. 

“It’s hard.. I don’t know who I am... Sometimes I worry I will snap at those who don’t deserve it... but others tell me I can’t constantly be a stepping stone for others... “ He paused and shook his head. “N... Never mind,” He added softly as he set down his newly arranged papers and put them down. 

“Oh... I don’t believe I’ve offered you some tea... Or any refreshment... I also should have asked you have you have been... I’m sorry where are my manners?” Saeran asked with a soft laugh and a smile. He loved playing host. It was so much easier than dealing with his own issues. There was a social expectation and that was easy enough to follow. 

Soul That Got Away

Catherine had been a reaper for a while before she had met Ray- or Saeran Choi as he was officially named on her list. He was a special case indeed. As a reaper, she was supposed to collect the souls of those scheduled to die and she very much enjoyed her job. Not having such a great life as a human, she loved watching people’s cinematic records. They could range from depressing to moving and full of joy. As a human that had not had much of an attachment to life, this job had opened her eyes. Just because she had not been fortunate enough to live and be happy didn’t mean other humans didn’t deserve to- life could be beautiful. Humans were fascinating. 

Saeran had been an interesting case. She was supposed to watch him for about 3 weeks before his time was up. He was struggling mentally and physically and she felt bad for him but he was her assignment and she was not allowed to be attached. Reapers were neutral. 

When his time had come, she had decided to let him live. It was a very rare case when the assignment was allowed to live but he had managed to achieve it. He was struggling but he had such great potential to do good in the world! So she examined his cinematic record and gave it back to him, explaining that he had great potential. With the gift of his life back, she had made him promise to do something with the potential. She visited him from time to time, like she was now. 

“Hey Sae!” She addressed him casually with a small wave, like she had not just broke into his apartment as she sat on the edge of his window sill. “How ye daein?”

But your Savior means the world to you. If she finds out I’m here and that you knew about it and did nothing, you’ll get in so much trouble. I can’t let that happen to you *shakes my head and looks away*

Ray shakes his head as well, almost holding his breath as he thought. “I... I am sure if I work hard like I used to she will be ok..” He replied softly, not truly sure but willing to work himself to death for the two of them.

Zeidan takes hold of you hand carefully and guides it to the paper. He presses your thumb on the paper and then lets your hand go. Surprisingly their hand did not feel that cool as it is pale. Thank you they murmur smiling. It is a nice smile, not unnatural at all either like some myths would say. -Vamp anon

Ray relaxed a little at the smile. He was still unsure but to know in some way he was protecting all of Magenta… he felt useful~ He nodded softly as he looked down at the paper.

She smiled, curling up by his side. "But this time actually stay in bed, okay~?" she pleaded teasingly.

Ray sighed but nodded. “Anything you want, My Angel,” Ray replied with a soft smile to his face, hiding the stress.
