Castor: you’d think he was immune bc he betrays no visible reaction and just stares silently but after a long moment he lets out a small sigh and relents. “Very well.”

Ember: aw c’mon don’t be like that…he doesn’t like being the bad guy, that’s Aurora’s job. Awwlright alright have it your way (he’ll feign some resistance but he was gonna cave anyway)

Nour: chronic people pleaser habits are hard to break but also they just want to make the people they care about happy so they’d cave instantly (depending on the request)

insecurities

ive been away from my tablet for too long but i think little comics like this really keep me from getting rusty as hell i think tamaracks insecurities creep up on her very slowly before crushing her in her teen years. theres a line in the step 2 prologue if you put braces and glasses on your mc. tamarack hates those but assures the mc that its nothing wrong with them, - its only tamarack who has something wrong with her. ametrine is very dependent on tamarack - so when the girl starts wavering, ametrine follows suit. she doesnt care about other people as long as tamarack is with her. but tamarack does. when ametrine notices the changes in her friend, she cant help feeling unsafe. the comfort of being the same as your friend is lost when change is inevitable.

Obviously I’m aware this defeats the purpose of the game’s story but I can’t stop thinking about a Spiderverse AU for Mind Blind, specifically one where Mc/Button is their world’s Spiderman because of an anomaly in the timeline that caused them to receive the powers instead of Nick, or one where Button dons the mask despite being powerless in order to replace Nick after (insert x incident that leaves him unable to be a superhero). Either way, a story where they’re an anomaly in the timeline, and have to juggle their own and their world’s usual problems along with getting the multiverse community of Spiderpeople to leave them tf alone.

Originally when I was thinking about this I was thinking about the idea that mc is usually one of the characters that dies to motivate most universes’ Spiderman and further the Tragic Backstory, and so somewhere in the mix of multiverse Spiderman sent to deal with the anomaly is a version of Nick and/or (insert chosen love interest) who got the powers in their world, and they were unable to save MC in their world, adding a layer of complication to all of this

Idk. I just think it’s a fun idea
