Mark: Max has carried that team for a while now this season. We’ve seen Barcelona, we’ve seen Silverstone EJ: Imola Mark: I mean, Lewis Hamilton’s win at Silverstone was absolutely extraordinary, but Max’s second place there was top draw. We’ve seen some very, very, very special drives from Max. Without Max, that car, at times, obviously, as he’s called it himself in his own words, has turned into a monster. Let’s see. It’s just the fine gains they get a little bit back, you just don’t know. It can change. EJ: (...) We were all slagging off Perez, but maybe Perez and that car, that’s the speed of the car, and what Max is doing is what Max is able to do. Beyond any doubt, he’s the best driver in Formula 1, beyond any doubt in my opinion, at this moment in time. Have you ever noticed how much Max actually stands up for others in the press, even when they don't extend that same courtesy to him?

When Lewis got the most outrageous penalty in the Russian GP 2020, or when they were bombarded with questions after silverstone 2021. When journalist questioned if Lewis is really that good of a driver of if its just the car.

Defending Daniel in the press when he was getting slandered for his results in 2021 and 2022.

Constantly complementing Lando and his driving to make everyone see that although the car isn't great his driving is.

And there are so many more instances that I just cant remember now, but I really wish someone extended that courtesy to Max once in a while. But I wish most of all that someone extended that courtesy to him when he was a 17 year old kid in f1 getting bullied by the press and other drivers.
