Wondering if anyone could write a story about childhood friends!Simon x reader where reader became a popular singer known for their sad romantic songs because it was all about their childhood(crush) friend that separated from Simon leaving for the military.

A song that's titled 'Simon Said' to remember all the promises of a better life together when they're older that Simon said to reader when they were suffering under their respective family's abuse.

Reader's popularity goes up because of this song, to the point that the 141 hears it on the radio somewhere and Simon would either hear Johnny humming a tune or Kyle playing it in the car, wondering why this tune was playing so often.

And maybe, just maybe, Simon and Reader meet again, having their promised life together.
