You are completely and utterly right because Jason is a nusiance and we all know that Roy is not going to be centered when Jason (or any bat is around). Roy should have been given a solo mini a year ago where he finds Lian and then reunites with the arrows and no bats show up at all.

fyi i dont actually care about jason lol, it's just his writers and a portion of his fans that make him annoying for me. but yeah you're right. i dont ask for a solo bc that is never happening, and maybe even a focused personal storyline is too much for a character like roy, but jason and roy's friendship being carried over when roy has his old memories and life back is just weird. not asking for it to end, but it shouldn't be treated as just the same thing when jason was friends with a daughterless and lost roy, but that's just me idk

Like I'm positive the only information we got on the matter was Jason and Roy would have a reunion and the Arrowfam would meet up. Also in response to an ask for Roy Jade and Lian to meet the author hinted he wanted the family back together. There really has been 0 solid evidence on how the story would go or who would be involved or even if it would happen in Dark Crisis or a future storyline.

Not really. You finding a character annoying is a different matter than jumping the gun on possible storylines. Like why spread rumors based on one panel instead of waiting till the comic is out and making a legitimate critique on the actual reading.

hey!! yeah, it's a leak from next week's dark crisis #2 — which is an event comic, yeah. lian is with jade (as of december of last year), but roy doesn't know that, which is why he thinks she's lost.

and yeah that's pretty much exactly my problem with it lol. ik a lot of people are saying they wanted dick instead of jason, and while that would have been better (consider dick actually knows what a lian is), i was really hoping the story of finding her would be something that's focused on roy, jade, and maybe arrowfam if need be. i'm not looking forward to it being another bat thing.

I think you're kind of jumping the gun. We only have 1 panel and one person's interpretation of the scene which just sounds like Jason giving his full support to Roy and saying he'd do anything to help. Chances are this will go the same place the Titans Academy reunion went. Like the Titans pledged full support there too. Why are you acting like its set in stone Jason will do something when the last declaration didn't go anywhere.

do you know when the fab five find out about Lian? I’ve read the comics with Roy going to get her with Dick so obv he knows first. But I can’t seem to remember if the others heard about him having a daughter around when he found out or when they first met her

we don't really see anyone's reactions since most of roy's development in that era happened off page since he wasn't in the titans book. when roy found out, he kept it to himself for a while before telling anyone. with dick, you have old friends, new enemies, but even then, it's implied he was told before the story started, so you don't quite get a reaction either.

the closest thing to a first reaction we have is probably this flashback from wally in the flash 245.

hello! i haven’t read rhato bc i tried once and could only stomach like half an issue so all of my roy knowledge is through osmosis and i hadn’t realized how badly they messed up n52 roy. i’m def gonna be using your guide to learn more about who roy actually is instead of the current picture in my head which is like a combo of both so thank u for that! u mentioned that roy would never be on the outlaws so i was wondering, would roy still be friends with post resurrection jason? i hope that one anon isn’t still sitting around waiting to get mad at u if u say no lshskshskshsksj

to answer your question without blabbing on too much, i think it would ultimately just depend on dick? i want to just say no but ultimately i think that's what it comes down to. not exactly an ideal answer, but it's not an easy question bc the characterization isn't consistent. roy does have a history of helping out villains trying to reform, but usually it's ones he has a personal connection to. with jason, ignoring rhato, i just don't think he'd care enough?? like there's some history with the robin stuff and the mia stuff, but i think the connection to dick is too personal that it's not something he'd necessarily get involved in yk
