issue: the kittens are still trying to learn words. gus knows his name and daisy knows hers, but they don’t seem to quite grasp that when I say “babies!” im referring to both of them.
hypothesis: “babies” is too similar to “daisy” and they’re getting confused
test: start saying “gamers” instead
Outcome: they’re understanding it and it’s hysterically funny

WAIT YOU’RE ACTUALLY MAKING ONE???? AHHHH THIS IS SICK!!!!!!!!
The fact that the ring is a hexagon and then a circle in the middle so it fits your finger actually makes it more accurate to the chemistry behind it as well! Here’s some more chemistry for y’all:
So basically every line on the hexagon represents a chemical bond and the double lines represent a double bond (3 double bonds in pyridine) but the thing is that we don’t really know which bonds are double, basically we don’t know if any pyridine is
or
These are called resonance structures as pyridine (and other aromatic compounds) isn’t really one or the other and exists as a somewhat average of the two, we display this by putting a circle in the middle, giving us this!
I honestly don’t think this could get more perfect oml
I thought of this while studying so you’ve inspired me to actually go do some more work and I will never get an aromaticity question wrong on an exam now.
i’m not aro but can you scrap the white ring and change the universal aromantic symbol to a ring with pyridine or at least hexagon ring. “but why?” i hear you asking?? quick chemistry lesson, aromatic compounds are a specific type of ring in organic chemistry that are flat and have delocalised electrons, this is benzene (C6H6) which is one of the simplest aromatic rings
if you have a keen eye you may be able to tell that aromatic is only one letter from being aromantic so lets chuck an N in there shall we
each of the corners of the hexagon represents a carbon atom and when you swap one with a nitrogen (N) then you get pyridine. pyridine is also aromatic itself but it is also an aromatic ring + N and therefore an aromantic ring!
Therefore if you make pyridine the unofficial ring for the aros then it’ll literally be an aromantic ring! aros pls get behind this <3

thinking about garlic bread instead of chemistry is literally what i do every day o will most likely not graduate my bachelor of applied chemistry

#whoopsie#its okay im doing a double degree so if i don't do my chemistry at least i got business#oh shit i think about garlic bread in my business classes too#brb gonna drop out#i also think about pasta too

I'm going to say it. The (word in parentheses) meme is way better for tone indication than tone indicators

underrated artist: Maude Latour
When I first listened to Maude’s music I was surprised she didn’t have millions of monthly listeners on Spotify. She’s truly a hidden gem and her music makes you want to dance, cry, and scream all at the same time. The versatility in her fairly short discography proves she’s meant for success. “One More Weekend” is perfect to blast in the car, “Block Your Number” is perfect to get up and dance to, and “Lovesick” will have you reminiscing.
I’d describe her as an indie-pop form of Lorde. The vocals are similar but Maude’s songwriting cannot be compared to popular artists today, and this kind of sound deserves charting recognition. It baffles me to think she’s still sitting just under 1 million monthly listeners, as her music isn’t what you hear on the top charts, but would be a fresh new sound to add up there.
I hope to see her gain even more recognition in the future, check her out!

i’ve seen a post (@lesbianpetekao) this morning about Beri Gerwise (Rosh in Young Royals) and her girlfriend Nicole having a child a few months ago.
it deeply moved me when i saw those pictures earlier in july. as for many lgbtq+ people, becoming a parent has always seemed to me to be something f*cking difficult if not impossible. Beri is 24 and seeing a lesbian woman my age having a baby just like any random straight couple gave me hope. and maybe it will give some to you too✨
all the photos are from Beri instagram account @beri_gerwise. for people speaking swedish, they have a youtube channel.

I would've loved the idea that Wille smiled for the first time of the show when he saw Simon (because !!!!) but can we aknowledge that it was actually when he saw Felice ? Because it's equally cute.
His only "familiar face" was August until he saw her and from the moment he noticed she was there as well, he tried really hard to be his friend. He comments under her pictures, he checked on her when she left the table, he always welcomes her with a cute smile, ect.
Poor girl just read the signals wrong at the beginning (even if I believe she never really had a crush on him but rather got pushed into that direction by her mum).
Him finding relief in seeing her is the cutest shit ever.

just realised that nothing could've been avoided if they closed the curtains cause these weirdos have a habit of climbing through windows and August would've done that
