Read three chapters in Turtles all the Way Down yesterday. Excited to hopefully read more today. I am also working on a quilt that needs to be done before the spring semester begins. Still, I live in a culture that uses “busy” as an excuse and I am growing rather tired of it. I will find a way.
Also, anybody know of any online book clubs? I feel like being able to discuss the things that I read about would be a good motivator (turn reading into a social thing, ya’know?).
Most recently read books include Hillbilly Elegy by J.D. Vance and Turtles all the Way Down by John Green.

New Blog, New Beginnings
12/30/17
I was reading John Green’s “Turtles All the way Down,” a book that I recieved for Christmas, when I realized that I am 25-years-old, and it shouldn’t take me this long to read a book with this large of text (no offense to Green, whose books I do enjoy, but they are works of YA fiction). I want to have a space where I can hold myself accountable for reading one chapter a day in a book of my choosing. In fact, this may be my new year’s resolution. We shall see how long this blog lasts.
Until then, dear reader, if you have found my blog, welcome. Maybe we can read a novel together sometime. Share your thoughts with me on a book, make a suggestion, and I will be sure to respond.
Most recent book titles read include Hillbilly Elegy and Turtles all the Way Down.
