My expectations for the Elucien book

* After a whole lot of yearning and blueballing (like 3/4 of the book)

Lucien thinking Jesminda was his mate to it actually being his friend's sister must be heartbreaking for him.

I get everyone wants to focus on Elain and what she's going through (which is 100% fair and valid for many reasons)

But this male has spent centuries grieving the loss of Jesminda and moving on without his mate. And now his real mate wants almost nothing to do with him.

Imagine the guilt and resentment he *might* feel about Elain. Lucien didn't ask for this bond any more than Elain did.

Lucien has been respectful to Elain and her space. In his own words, "I'm not always in this city to see my mate." (ACOSF page 417 kindle)
