Good morning! This week is a momentous one in the history of the Real Rock Show. Firstly, it marks the 1st Anniversary of the Real Rock Show: When I decided to put together a show that focusses on today’s music, the show’s content was quite different to what I had produced for many years previously as The Classic Rock Show. Today’s rock bands and musicians are creating music in incredibly imaginative ways, across a multitude of genres; I wanted to help promote that range in diversity, and hence the Real Rock Show was created. Secondly, today, February 1st 2017 is also the launch-day of Hard Rock Hell Radio – a hugely significant thing in itself – and I can at last announce that I will be one of their in-house presenters, bringing the Real Rock Show to thousands of listeners every week, ‘Live’ every Monday 7-9pm GMT! It was in September last year that TBFM Radio – Hard Rock Hell Radio’s predecessor – reached out to me, asking if I would syndicate my show, adding it to their Saturday evening schedule. Such were the synergies between us that I was made a further offer to join the team upon transition of them becoming Hard Rock Hell Radio. It really wasn’t that hard a decision to make, since I’ve been impressed by both TBFM Radio’s and Hard Rock Hell's respective set ups and struck by their positive attitudes towards promoting new music. I’m thrilled to be part of this new venture – the Hard Rock Hell brand is synonymous with not only a quality product, their visionary outlook and innovativation, but also the immeasurable support they offer the rock music scene. You’ll hear all of that on Hard Rock Hell Radio, and I can’t wait to be part of that by joining the other presenters on the station. Lastly, I want to express my sincere gratitude to several people, without whom there wouldn’t be a show: To all the bands, record labels, PRs and all the listeners who have provided me with such positive feedback over this past year…thank you so very much for supporting the Real Rock Show.
