"From swearing to vomiting… BTS’s misaligned fandom."

Blackpink's Jennie is being bombarded with malicious comments from extreme BTS fans.

On the 7th, Jennie posted a photo of her work with Dazed magazine on her Instagram. However, the comment section of the post was filled with malicious comments unrelated to the revealed pictorial. The reason was that BTS member V unfollowed Jennie on the morning of the 7th.

The members of BTS opened their personal Instagram accounts on the 6th. Since BTS has been communicating with fans through group accounts, fan cafes, and fan community platform Weverse, the response from fans to the opening of personal SNS accounts was enthusiastic.

However, the problem occurred within a day. V, who is not good at management, followed and then unfollowed Blackpink member Jennie's Instagram. In response, V indirectly revealed his mistake by writing on Weverse, "Isn't there a way to get rid of these SNS recommendations? It's a scary app," but some fans who misunderstood the relationship between the two flooded Jennie's Instagram with malicious comments. The comments section was filled with vomiting emoticons and the hashtag "Free_Tae" (Taehyung, V), meaning "Let V go."

As malicious comments continued to pour in despite V's explanation, it turned into a fandom fight. Jennie's fans criticized her strongly, saying things like, "V made a mistake, so why are you saying something to Jennie?", "If you like your singer, you should know how precious other singers are,", "If this keeps up, she'll end up closing her SNS," and "What trouble will Jennie get into if she just stays still?"
