He's also famous for his Cryptid BF™, never appearing on camera except for a few bodyshots and all information on him is kept locked up tighter than Fort Knox, therefore drawing all sort of attention and curiosity toward his mysterious boyfriend.

Deku from Deku Explains is a hopeless chatterbox who is known for uploading 20-30 minutes video that talked about his favorite shows and comics and have one of the most devoted following on Youtube. He also can't seem to shut up about his boyfriend Kacchan, who regularly make his presence on the channel as a disembodied voice.

They should theoretically have nothing in common except a shared platform to host their content and an army of fans with an endless curiosity and devotion to their Youtubers. Vidcon is where we lay our scene and the internet is about to get a rude wake up call.

Librarian's Notes: I love any fic that's formatted to resemble fandom interactions: Livejournal communities, youtube comments, etc. This is a nice little slice of fun to make you smile.

Title: Let's Play Pretend And Live Our Lives Author: Tassos Rating: Explicit Fandom: MDZS (魔道祖师 - 墨香铜臭 | Módào Zǔshī)/ The Untamed (陈情令) Ship: Wei Wuxian/Lan Wangji Warnings: As per the author: "While this is possibly the fluffiest thing I've ever written, in Chapter 2 there is some description of the aftermath of a natural disaster which destroyed homes and killed people. It is about a paragraph long, not graphic, and it is an event that happened in the past that is being talked about by the characters. I'm happy to give more info if you need it." Points of Interest: Fake Dating (Fake Married), Kid Fic, Idiots In Love Word Count: 50,502 (5/5 chapters) Summary: "And for Lan Zhan? He's not going to believe that I mentioned A-Yuan to him and he's the one who forgot about it."

Nie Huaisang lifts his wine glass and gestures with it a little, like a sage who has given his advice and now the rest is Wei Wuxian's problem. "You're just going to have to pretend very hard. Don't let him break you."

Or: The one where Wei Wuxian secretly adopts A-Yuan and when he tries to convince Lan Wangji he had a kid all along, Lan Wangji rolls with it, ups the ante, and sets off a game of chicken that digs up buried feelings that Wei Wuxian is 100% sure he's not going to act on. Okay, 90% sure.

Librarian's Notes: This was the first fic I read for this fandom, and it remains my favorite. It is absolutely hilarious, while still managing to be heartbreakingly tender and sweet. You will want to hit these men over the head at least once by the end, but the way it works out is just perfect.

Just Remembered I Had This Blog

My goal is going to be a post every other day until I catch up on my backlog (which could take... months, honestly), and then a much more manageable and sensible rate after.

We'll see how long I can keep that up, since last time I posted... once. And then ran.

Anyway I'm not sure anyone's going to read this but just in case people came to my blog looking for the recs, I wanted to make sure they knew more were coming.

Librarian’s Notes: What better way to start my fic rec blog than with something light and sweet? Haicrescendo really captures that first-love feeling in your chest, when you’re young and still learning yourself, and your best friend in the world means absolutely everything.
