Every 2-3 months I vanish off tumblr, forget this site and all of my ongoing fics exist, do other stuff for a while, then come back and post smthing like "I'm alive! And I'm writing fics again!" and then without fail will vanish within 2 months LMFAO

a stupid fucking ai website that one of my professors forced us to use by threatening to fail us if we didn't (last class we all needed to graduate) has been telling me for months that I don't have an account with them and therefore cannot cancel my subscription (that they again said I didn't have) but now that they've charged me more than a MONTH OF MY RENT they're like "Oh yeah, you've got a subscription with us. Here's the cancel button!"

I am all for writing fanfiction however you want, but literally who is it benefiting when authors include dialogue in a different language and don't include translations, not even in the notes or anything? Majority of the time the authors google translated that dialogue and don't speak the language so it just seems like extra steps for everyone with no benefit 😭
