I hope this isn't weird, but could I maybe request something Eris with a mate who has anxiety/paranoia and head jerks? It's gucci if it's just headcanons, but I'm kind of interested because I think Eris would be severely protective of them for the head jerks but also fantastic at making them feel safe. I have head jerks (mostly tied to my anxiety) and if it helps I can like,, explain them a bit more. I haven't seen a lot of like.. Eris with an anxious reader so I kind of wanted to ask but it's totally fine if you don't want to!!

I hope you are doing well, and reaching out to your medical professionals regarding help with your anxiety. You are never alone, and deserve to feel healthy and happy. As for your request, maybe some more detail of the head jerks my help me, but from what I understand, they are usually uncontrollable and correct me if I am wrong, feel like the build up to a peak (almost like an itch right?) Hopefully I did you justice!

Eris truly is the most protective male, whether it is his family or friends or even his hounds, but the most protective he feels is whenever he is around you, his mate.

He truly does everything within his power to make sure you feel safe, wherever it is that you are, you can always count on this male to have at least three of his best spy's watching you and everyone around your whereabouts. One of his most trusted smoke hounds named Blazed is tasked with trailing behind you and being a source of constant protection. Eris has also trained him as a source of emotional support for you, this hound can smell your anxiety levels, smell the adrenaline spiking, and will rest his head in your lap or boop his nose to your hand to remind you that he is here with you.

One thing about Eris is he also understands your anxiety, poor male was actually losing his hair in clumps while living under Beron's rule right after Lucien fled autumn court. Having you near to fuss over helped him recover in a small way, and even though it is long past the overthrow of Beron, Eris still experiences his own fears and worries when it comes to the autumn court, his mum, and of course, you. He ensures you never feel alone, and always feel supported, loved, and cherished by him.

The head jerks are obvious, and people in the court and outside the court do notice. But they tend to focus more on how Eris glares at those who stare with a fury so strong, they fear for their lives. Not to mention, those who have made rude comments towards you have had their land and crop set on fire by the High Lord. And even more than that, they notice how he dotes on you. How he always has a glass of fresh water nearby for you, encouraging you to take a couple sips every time you have a jerk, how he rubs your back and shoulders to loosen the tightened muscles, how he whispers sweet nothings into your ears to reassure you, how he lets you fiddle with his fingers as another source to relieve your anxiety.

He would do anything and everything for you, and is not above asking for help from Dawn Court healers, to ask if there is any medication to reduce your anxiety, and if there is anything more he needs to do to be a supportive mate.

Ultimately, Eris loves you more than he could ever describe, and he never wants you to feel shame over something you cannot control. He is there for you in every way possible, and thinks you are his perfect mate, just as you are.

Modern College!Azriel is majoring in Education so he can become a high school history teacher, with a focus on medieval and modern historical studies. He spends most of him time in the university library, and that is where you both meet. He had his head buried in textbooks covering the English Monarchy when he heard a soft, gentle voice asking, "Is this seat open?"

He looked up from his book, reading glasses at the tip of his nose begging to be pushed up, to find you, the prettiest, softest looking female pointing out to the chair in front of him. Glancing around, he took note that all the other tables are packed with students cramming for finals, and so, he shyly nods, mumbling "yes, it is, you are welcome to it."

You both spent hours there getting ready for upcoming exams, and shockingly, it was easier to get your work done. You didn't feel as distracted, you felt more comfortable with your material, and maybe you attribute that to the cute, shy, nerdy male who has his notes color-coded with sticky notes, but you spend the rest of the week sitting with him at that same table, always asking if the seat in front is open, and him always welcoming you.

I think the day before the last final is when he would finally muster up the courage to ask if you would be willing to grab coffee with him in a short break, and that is when you finally start talking to him. The conversation flows smoothly between the two of you, and despite having a final the next morning, you both spend hours gabbing and rambling about anything and everything. By the time the sun is rising, you have to run off for your final and you head out, but not before sliding a flashcard with your number on the back.

From that point on, you both are inseparable, spending entire days speaking on the phone, texting each other memes, watching documentaries together over facetime. Azriel is the shyest male, but he grows out of his shell around you and finds it easy to share and talk about his hobbies and interests.

Azriel isn't the biggest sports person, BUT, he will be taking you to his D&D meet ups with his other nerd friends, and is incredibly happy he can share it with someone like you. All his friends are shocked by how pretty and elegant you are, and tease Az by asking he really pulled you. But, you planting a large smooch to his jaw and a wink in the boys direction with a cheeky, "He's good with his hands and even better with his dick," has them shutting the hell up and Az blushing a pretty pink on his tan cheeks.

Hi!! I’m not sure if you’re still accepting Azriel headcanons, but I have one! Just bear with me because my thoughts are all over the place lol

So we all know that he’s written as very serious, and anytime he smiles or laughs in the books the fans are like “!!!”. I also know that the general fan consensus seems to be that Az would smile and laugh more around the reader/his mate.

My headcanon though is that even his mate has a hard time getting him to laugh. Making a joke? Hit or miss. Might make him laugh, but may just earn a smirk or a smile. Teasing him or making silly faces? Same thing. It’s a hit or miss. However, sometimes drastic measures must be taken and the thing that will get him to laugh every single time involves the use of gentle, wiggly fingers. I think this also plays into the other popular headcanon of him being touch starved, because the last thing he would expect his mate to do would be to tickle him.

I am not gonna lie nonnie, I would have to disagree. I absolutely think it is hard to make Az laugh, he really does live in his own head and worries constantly about things, BUT, his mate, the perfect pretty angelic sweet mate that you are, can make him laugh.

Much much more than anyone has, and much much more than anyone ever will.

So I’m a midnight snacker. I will either wake up in the middle of the night fucking starving or already be awake and want something to eat. And right now I’m fucking hungry, heating up some leftovers trying to be quiet so I don’t wake up my roommate because for some fucking reason everything is louder in the middle of the night 😐

Now just imagine, trying not to wake Rhys, at like 2 in the morning heating up some leftovers being really quiet because not only is everything louder while everyone is asleep, but because of fae’s really sensitive hearing. So you gotta be extra quiet. Naturally, you accidentally make a little too much noise, probably because of the silverware (always rats my hungry ass out) Rhys wakes up, makes his way to the kitchen, and finds you doing your little happy dance while eating cause you thought you were successful in not waking up your mate and are now happy to be eating.

He would totally sit there in the doorway of the kitchen waiting for you turn around and see him standing there watching you. When you finally see him, you just stand there like a deer in headlights mid bite.

Imagine a girldad!Eris when his little daughter tell him she wanna be a Highlady one day when she grow up. Like feyra from the nightcourt

Girl Dad!Eris has raised his twin toddlers, Twila and Marwa, to believe they will be high ladies of the Autumn Court one day. Their duties will be evenly split together, none of the "whoever is the oldest will gain the throne" bs.

Marwa and Twila start tutoring early on in their lives, once they are able to sit still at a table. Whether it is arts and crafts, history lessons, language arts, reading, writing, dance, etc. They have a well rounded education because Eris believes that all children should be educated and should have access to education.

Once he became high lord of autumn court, one of the first laws he actually implemented was ridding the court of child labour and enforcing public school systems.

Both girls will share duties between themselves, however if one of them decided that this was not what they wanted in their future, Eris has made sure they don't feel obligated.

Once they are older, Eris talks to each of them separately and multiple times, to ensure neither feel obligated to take over ruling, it is hard and exhausting work, and can often be dangerous.

Eris would be the type of dad to encourage any and all hobbies of his daughters, whether it is riding horses or gardening, he would do anything for his little girls, including buying a hundred horses and building a whole ranch or having a whole green house set up in his backyard forest for his girls.

He is a good papa, and I live for him.

I need to know…what happens with Elain? Are her and Az still friends? Does she approve of their relationship?

So this ask is in relation to Always, and it was sent back when I finished writing Always, and I always thought I would write out a mini fic to answer the questions on how Elain would have reacted, and what their friendship moving forward would have looked like, but I think I will just headcanon what I think would have happened overall.

I don't think she was shocked by the outcomes of the events. While she did have a crush, and plenty of lustful thoughts about Azriel, I think she knew in the end that his heart was not with her, but was with the readers. Most of their time spent together was Az actually rambling about reader, and it was very obvious that despite them having a connection, it would always be reader who came first.

Ultimately, it doesn't matter if she approves of the relationship or if she doesn't, it wouldn't impact Azriel and readers relationship, but I do think she feels a sort of envy for reader that she is loved and adored so deeply. I think Elain would really want that for herself, but she realizes she has a lot of things to work through before she is able to accept those feelings from anyone... (Lucien).

While I do think that Azriel and Elain remain friends, it is never the same. Elain saw him in a different way than he saw her, and reader uncomfortable with that, and Az tries very hard to set boundaries to make sure he never makes reader feel the way she did in Always.

Modern! Rhys, in my head, would absolutely love Star Wars, Star Trek, StarGate and really any sci-fi/ High Fantasy movies and shows. And when he has free time, loves to build those Lego sets from Star Wars. He’ll get you the Lego flowers so you can build with him and set up your own bookshelf to display your creations next to his.

I mean listen, the gym do be this males safe space. He loves weight lifting and is very good with cardio.

BUT, he is secretly very into film photography. You are his main muse, but trust, he has a side hustle and whole instagram page dedicated to his photos and has even won national competitions.

Will spend time traveling with you to different areas to take pictures of the scenery and wildlife, and has a very good time doing so. He likes to find beauty in the simple things, and showcase it, and people really resonate with it.

Just a tall, large male with a nice camera.

Any time friends or families need grad pictures or event photos (he has even been asked to be a wedding photographer), he will do it gladly, and has such a fun time doing so.

I think he is also does enjoy painting your nails. He loves to design intricate details and will try a new style at least once a week, your nails are always painted and looking good because of him. And those services are "exclusively for my girl" as he says.
