Sean like he's okay right. Like he's fine. Nothing happens to him. He never dies. His head is perfectly fine he's just a lil bruised. He's happy and joking as ever. Nobody is hurt or upset. Sean is happy he's having fun he's being a little shit and having that little shit eating grin of his as he insults Arthur and Javier and John and Molly and Kieran and anyone else who he thinks could use a little shit talking. With love. I wanna hear him insulting everyone with love far beyond the grave or this mortal coil. Which he doesn't have to worry about because he's fiiiiiiiine.

Where do you think Sean got his whole charm and romance skills from ? (Darragh Darragh Darragh - c o u g h I mean it's only a mere theory, a guess a simple lil headcanon but gosh Darragh regaling tales of him and Sean's mother and how damn smitten he was with this woman just melts my heart - maybe Sean keeps a lot of this in mind and compares it to him and Karen's whole dynamic because well just saying - whoever darragh's spouse was must have had to put up with A LOT dating a outlaw/Revolutionary yet she still [presumably] stuck with him [this is all course very hypothetical and purely my personal take due to her not being mentioned at all BUT come o n from how frequently Sean talks about his da you telling me this man didn't also explain things like love to Sean and it's importance?] And Karen has to put up with MANY of Sean's antics but hasn't stabbed him yet so it's pretty much the same thing right? That's what love is, someone who's patient enough to tolerate your flaws though no where in Darragh's stories did he ever mentioned getting smacked THIS much by his beloved,, ah well that must mean him & karen are a special sort of case asdfdsdffds <3)

I think a large part of his charm is indeed from his environment, living amongst anti-imperialism outlaws and specifically his father Darragh.

As for romance, Darragh definitely played at least some part of it; after all Sean did mention a 'trick' Darragh taught him when Sean was in the tent with Karen (ignoring the creeps who imply CSA with this because what the fresh fuck of fucking course he did not) and I think Darragh at least believed he himself always had a certain way with the ladies.

Of course, Darragh did, at least from what we can assume from the paper, have quite a bit of renown as quite possibly one of the most notorious Fenians (and I'm going to say he definitely had a highly-respected position in the rdr equivalent of the Brotherhood) and I could really go on a tangent about that and how it relates to Sean if prompted (but I won't here)

I also love the idea of Darragh having a soft spot for Sean's mother! I often have been left wondering just what Sean's ma was like, but as far as I know, she isn't even mentioned, leading me to believe she either died or separated from Darragh early in Sean's life. It's also quite possible Sean was birthed from a one night stand, but I choose to believe Darragh had a woman he was very fond of and would visit as frequently as he could. I always headcanoned that she lived in Dublin, and Darragh's visits were limited due to the amount of British law there, but whenever he had to go there (usually to meet up with other Fenians) he'd always stop by. I feel like his freedom fighting got in the way of relationships sometimes, similar to how Mary didn't want to be with Arthur. But when you're such a wanted man and you have a mission to defy Brits and aristocracy it just wouldn't be right (and would be suicide, knowing how much they wanted him dead)

I'm sure Darragh talked a lot about love with Sean! And I like to imagine that when Darragh taught Sean a few things about love, his beloved was at the front of his mind! we don't really know how Darragh was when it came to women, but with Sean, we can get a few ideas! I like to see Darragh as quite the flirt with women so the way Sean is with Karen doesn't seem so far off. Though I think Sean's way of flirting does not go as well with Karen unless she's bubbly with booze, I always felt like she did like him, and most of that is during the party. I swear I could study their relationship so intensely and still not see things too clearly because they're a murky and mysterious couple. I don't know what kind of love life Darragh could have imagined for his son, but I like to think if he were to be looking down upon it he'd probably think "ah yeah, that's my Sean" lmao

Bro that thing you said about Sean losing his mind and going ballistic one day like really spoke to me. Bc wym everyone thinks he’s this little innocent cinnamon roll girlypop dude but istg he’s actually kind of scary. Like if he really lost his shit it would be terrifying. Really just based off of the way he talked to Kieran and just had that look in his eyes and that passive aggressive tone, like I feel like he could absolutely lose his shit on everyone and no one would expect it. I thought I was the only one who thought he would absolutely go batshit crazy if he needed to and I love thinking about it

Oh my god, there are a few lines of his that just hit so hard and so lividly, it makes me want to see it in his eyes. I want to see Sean fucking snap.

And you know when I think Sean could really snap?

When Jack is kidnapped, right after his death. I think Sean would be furious. I feel like Sean loved Jack like a little brother, like his Da loved him. The biggest factor for me is, these are rich folks. He is well known for hating rich folks. I think the kidnapping would awaken something protective in him, and some trauma from things he witnessed and suffered at the hands of Irish aristocrats as a boy.

This is a good majority of Sean's non-cutscene lines in the campaign. Specifically during the first five minutes or so, there's a few really angry Sean lines that send a chill down my spine. I bet he could be super fucking scary under the wrong circumstances (I have listened to these way too much and thought about Sean wreaking absolute havoc omfgggggg)

I believe a few of these lines would be exactly what you're looking for, just a glimpse into Angry Sean

(Bonus note: I recall Noshir mentioning how Charles realized Sean could turn on a fucking dime and there would be no mercy. And I 100000% agree. I wish we could have seen Sean go full Mr Hyde on the Braithwaites, omggggggggg)

Oh boy I had a wild Sean dream lmao. So I was looking through cameo and I saw this cool one someone got of Mick doing a bunch of different Irish accents and that definitely influenced my dream

I was in camp and there were 15 different Seans each with a different Irish accent. They were debating amongst themselves who was the real Sean. My favorite was Kerry Sean but I had to vote for my guy Dublin Sean. Sorry Kerry Sean I'm biased

It was so much funnier in my dream, just a bunch of Sean clones standing around with varying accents. I CACKLED when I woke up.

I love angry Sean. I want to see rage completely take him over in a bout of fury and watch him raise absolute hell because I know he's joked about as being incompetent but just fucking imagine what he's capable of if he's utterly consumed by rage.

I want to hear his voice go cold and see the veins and tendons in his arms, see the vitriol burning in his face. I've never seen him truly angry and I wish I could because that side of him is so cool, he's seen as a silly fun jokey guy but God imagine if the wrong person did the wrong thing at the wrong time, there's sure to be a fucking bloodbath

Y'all I've been thinking about Molly a lot lately and how she doesn't even have ONE mission. I'd love to see her do... Literally anything than sit in camp and talk/cry/argue with everyone/whatever. I know it's a tragedy, but I kinda wish we could have seen what she was made of. Like at least we saw Karen at the bank job yknow
