because I am a retail douchebag still, I must announce that I’ll be gone thanksgiving, Black Friday, and the Saturday after that. It’s gonna be hot garbage, and even if I had time to write, I imagine it’d be whiggity whack. So as limited as I’ve been getting back in the game, I’ll be predisposed being generally unpleasant with the unwashed miscreants that charge the doors during these three days.

And if you suck enough to shop on thanksgiving then I’m prepared to send you home with a hard copy of all the health benefits of sucking my sweet dick on your way out the fucking doors, you monster.

How long had it been since their first run in with the Pinkertons? the O’Driscalls? They’d been running as long as Arthur could remember. Things were only getting worse. Any thought innocent were caught in the crossfire. Mrs. Adler was an example of such. Once a happily married woman, now a bloodthirsty killer. Course she had her rights to display such anger. Yet it was such displays that meant yet another move for the group.

     A      Good      Man.

Many had taken to referring to him as such. Had he been a good enough man would he have killed? followed a man whom he saw as a Father figure’s orders without question?

     “I am many things, Mercy. A good man isn’t one of them.”

Sure he had his doubts just like the rest of them come Dutch’s choices. However, Arthur was the first of many to make this family. A family whom held honour and respect at the highest levels. Though they within the eyes of the law were a plague, none could disagree that they didn’t look out for one another.

     "Should you wish to learn how to read, Hosea has far more patience than any within the group. Mayhaps I could..put in a good word if you wish?

Mmn, she supposed that was true, too. Everyone had things they were running from, things that chased them no matter how much they tried to outrun them. Mercy just guessed that she wasn’t used to being around others that were... so much like her. It was refreshing in a way, though she didn’t think bonding over stories about crimes committed wasn’t exactly the best way to pass the time.      “If you say so. But I think it’s in the eye of the beholder... or some other crap people say, I dunno. Thing is, you’ve been good to me so far. An’ that means somethin’, whether you think it does or not.” It wasn’t like she hadn’t killed people, either. And some of them still haunted her and kept her up at night. In fact, there were a pair of kids on the outskirts of Valentine she’d planned to visit after she’d managed to kill their parents in a botched hold up. It was the least she could do, to drop off some food for the poor things. But every time she rode up there, she spent the night awake and most likely sobbing about her poor life choices. Not exactly something she was in a hurry to do just yet.      “I’d be grateful if ya did, but. Don’t feel like ya hafta. I don’t wanna overstep or anything, considerin’ I jus’ joined up an’ all.” Mercy was going over the list of provisions in her head, though in truth she could only figure out what half of them were; thankfully some English was very similar to Spanish. She just hoped it would be enough to be useful, otherwise she’d just have to wing it. Hopefully Pearson would be all right with whatever she brought back.
