A thing for Aquaman (Kelley O'hara x reader)
This was a request, but I had a tough time writing it and don’t know if I achieved your expectations. It’s a short one.
Kelley pov
“Hello ladies! My name is Shean and I’ll be one of the instructors that will be guiding you all today.” We were at the Marine Life Rescue center in Florida. The USWNT is combining forces with the Program to help raise visibility to their mission, so we are making a visit and recording some media stuff. A few of us visited the Clearwater aquarium, some went to the beach to see a turtle and a dolphin release. Me, Lindsey, Alex, Sofia, Trinity and Sonnett are in the group that is going scuba diving.
“So, a quick story before our leader gets here. The Marine Life Rescue Project was created to support the mission and funding to Clearwater Marine Aquarium Research Institute. We believe in preserving our environment while inspiring the human spirit through leadership in the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of marine life. By research, conservation and environmental education of the community. Alone, we can’t do much, so that’s why your visit here is so important for us…” The boy kept talking and my attention quickly was out of it. I poked Alex and asked. “This guy sounds like he is repeating this line for the hundredth time and has zero animation to be here” Alex laughed but kept looking at the boy, Lindsey that was near heard me and answered. “He is cute though. But I don’t know if I’m too excited to enter the water. I think I will rather stay in the boat talking to him.” Trinity, who was also listening to us, spoke. “What? We are scuba diving for free. Why would you want to stay in the boat?” “What if there are sharks in the water?” Lindsey whispered loudly. “That’s the fun part.” Trinity has a smirk on her face. “I don’t think there will be sharks in there. Right?” I tried to calm Linds, but I was not too sure of myself.” “Don’t worry, the sharks don’t like humans that much. They usually don’t show up. Usually.” A woman whispered behind us, making the girls who were close jump a little as we haven’t seen her before. “Usually?” She just shrugged. “Who are you?” I was the one making the question now. “I’m…”
“Y/n! You made it. Come here.” The woman winked at us, stood and went up front. “Girls, this is Y/n Y/l/n. She is going to be the lead instructor that will be diving with some of you. Any questions?” Lindsey raised her hand and asked. “Can I stay in the boat?” We all laughed and Y/n answered. “Of course you can, no one will be forced to be down there. But I must warn you that you will be missing a lot.” “Thanks. But I rather stay here than risk being eaten by a shark.” “First, sharks don’t attack like that. That is a huge myth created mostly due to Spielberg's movies. There is a bigger chance of you dying in a plane crash than being eaten by a shark.” Y/n corrected Lindsey, who still didn’t look convinced. “I think I'll take my chances with the plane.” Y/n laughed but before she could say anything the other instructor called her informing that everything was ready on the boat. “We are going. And second…” She interrupted herself by taking off her hoodie, and Oh, dear! She has muscles. God, she is hot. “Second, I know this beach like the palm of my hand. I know these animals and you’ll be safe with me and my team. Don’t worry. Let’s go girls?” With that she walked toward the boat leaving us behind.
We watched her going and I broke the silence “Have anyone else seen those muscles?” “Yeah. You know what Linds, you can stay in the boat. I will dive with her.” Sonnett grabbed her backpack and started her walk to the boat. “Wait. I think I changed my mind. With those arms, I think I will be safe.” Lindsey says following Sonnett. “You know Kells, if you want a chance to stay near those arms you’ll have to run. Sonnett and Linds are thirsty.” Alex laughed at me and we all ran to the boat.
An instructor started the drive and we all sat in the boat waiting for the boat to stop at the diving spot. “So Y/n, is being this muscular and hot a requirement to being a scuba diving instructor?” She laughed and answered. “If it was Shean over here would be with his days counted.” “Hey! I work out.” “I’m just kidding man. But answering your question, it’s not. But it helps to keep the girls' attention at you when you’re repeating the program instructions.” She winked at me. “I noticed, but don’t know if I paid too much attention to what you were saying, was occupied with something else. Too distracted. I would love to learn more about it.” “Well, unfortunately that isn’t part of the tour but I’m always open to show what those muscles can do some other time.” “I think I know how those muscles work in the gym.” “I imagine, but I wasn’t talking about the gym.” My eyes widened and I stayed speechless. She stood up and started grabbing the equipment.
“Well, as we already pass through instruction on the beach, I won’t repeat them. The only thing I’m reinforcing is to make sure to be close by. This water is normally safe and calm, and you will have the chance to watch the most different species of animals and corals, but your safety is the most important thing here and any caution is too much. Any question?” This time it was Trinity who raised her hand. “How close can we stay to you?” “Can I hold your arms?” Sofia asked. Y/n only laughed and put her backpack on. “Calm down girls, there is enough of me for everyone. Now, who is ready to dive?”
Next thing I know Y/n was helping the girls with their equipment and Alex poked me. “Really Kell? You’re almost drooling over her.” “Can you blame me? Look at those muscles.” “She is more than just that, you know?” “I know, but how can I not want that? She is smart, strong, funny, and hot. She is friends with the fishes, sharks, and almost the whole marine life. She is basically the female Aquaman.” “Kids, why did I have to stay in the kids group?” She walked away and Y/n came near me to help me with the equipment.
“Everything is good?” Y/n asked. “Yep.” “Great. Let's finish our tour then and wish for it to end with a success.” She said finishing tightening the strap. “Success? I thought you said we didn’t have to worry about it.” She looked at me. “You don’t. Not on my part anyway.” I looked at her confused. “What do you mean?” “You know the story, the hero saves the ladies from the sharks and gets the girl in the end.” “Who says you were the hero?” “We are in a small boat Kelley.” A smirk appeared on her face and she went near the edge of the boat. “But don’t worry, I won’t tell anyone you have a thing for Aquaman.” She winked at me and jumped in the water. Oh God, I have a thing for the female Aquaman.

Pretend girlfriend (Emily Sonnett x reader)
Lindsey pov
We were all laughing and mocking Emily right now.
An hour ago we had just ended the gym session, when she said she had to go to the market before the movie session the team had. No one wanted to go with her, so of course she went to make Y/n go with her.
“Please, Y/n/n. For me. I don’t want to go alone.” “But Em, we have to be here in an hour.” “See, plenty of time for us to come back. Pleeease!” Emily was now hugging Y/n and pouting, while looking at her with pleading eyes. We all know Y/n couldn’t say no to her. “Fine, but if we get late for the film session you’re the one doing my laps.” Emily made a ‘yeah’ sound and kissed Y/n’s cheek, holding her hands and taking them toward a near market.
“I don’t know why Y/n even try to say ‘no’ in the first place. Everyone knows she can’t deny anything to Emily.” Tobin commented after the duo got out of the room.
And that’s how we got here now. Emily came back, with some bags, but by herself. She arrived here saying she couldn’t find Y/n and for one of us to inform Y/n that she was already here, because she left her phone with Y/n so she couldn’t inform.
Of course we would mock her, she begged the girl to go with her and then left her there.
“Stop mocking, it’s not funny.” “Of course it is, you lost a person.” I answered her. “And not any person. Y/n. How is that even possible, you both never unstuck from each other.” Caitlyn mocked her. “And why is your phone with her?” Tobin asked. “It wasn’t the plan. But I asked her to go see if they had some lactose-free milk and I couldn’t find her anymore. She always carries my things, you know that.”
Before we could say anything more, Y/n entered the room with a bag in her hand and with an angry look toward Emily. But we could all see she wasn’t actually mad.
“You left me there? Really? I agreed on going with you and that is what you do?” Emily now had a guilty look. “Sorry, I couldn’t find you. You went to look for the milk and never came back, I went to look after you but you were nowhere. So I came back.” “You couldn’t find me, so you abandoned me there? I was in front of the cashier waiting for you.” Emily didn’t answer, just shrugged her shoulders. So Y/n continue. “And I, the idiot and stupid that I am, even bought an açai for you.” Y/n got out of the back two cups of açai. Emily's eyes immediately widened and she spoke. “No, and I swear that I also bought you açai.” We all laughed at the duo, especially after Emily took from her bags another two cups of açai. “If you're an idiot, I am as well, because I bought you açai too. There were only four, so I bought two.” “And I bought two.” Y/n answered.
“And I went to the cashier and said ‘Lady, I’m not finding my best friend. But I will take this for her.’ and came back.” Emily said, trying to explain herself. “And I went to the cashier and stayed there in front of it, waiting for you. And then the lady came and asked if I needed help because I was just standing there. And I said ‘I’m waiting for my best friend, because I know she wouldn’t just leave me here.’ Well, I was wrong.” “But I'm a good friend as well, I remembered you.” Emily was now pouting at Y/n, being sorry for what she had done. “But I’m a better friend, because even with you abandoning me there I bought you this.”
“Okay, okay!” I intervened. “Both of you are good friends for each other. Now, we have to go to the film session and I will accept one of those.” I grabbed one from Y/n’s hand and she just rolled her eyes. “Next time, ask first. Come on Em, before she also decides to steal our seats.” Both of them got out of the room together, chatting about something else.
“Their sync is so good, that even when they do stupidity they do it together.” Caitlyn spoke and we all laughed. “Right?! They work together better than a lot of married couples.” Tobin was the one who commented now. So I have to give my thoughts. “Well, if you think about it. They are basically a married couple already, but are the only ones who can’t see it.”
Y/n and Emily are always together, even though they don’t live in the same house, you can be sure to always find one sleeping or hanging out in the other place. Y/n is whipped for Emily, she can’t say no and if Emily says she wants something Y/n is there getting it for her. Emily is not far behind, she is not a big surfer fan, but it’s been some time that she is going with us to get some waves, just so she could stay close to Y/n. Last week Y/n got sick for three days and Emily slept the whole week at her house, just so she could take care of Y/n. They are always cuddling and whispering to each other during film sessions or team bonding nights. But according to them they are just friends.
You pov
“Y/n! Sonnett! I need your help.” Lindsey yelled, running to our direction. Practice has just finished and we have the day off tomorrow. So we were planning what we were going to do. “What happened?” Emily asked. “I have a date tomorrow, with this guy I met a few nights before.” “Okay… and what do you need our help with?” I was the one asking this time. “Well, I barely know this guy, and I don’t want to go alone there. So I told him that we were going on a double date.”
I looked at her confused. “I still don’t get it, what do you need our help with?” “Isn’t it obvious? I’m asking you to go on the date with me.” “Me? I think that ruins the double date thing, with only being one couple and a friend.” “Not only you, both of you. And then you pretend to be a couple and we go together. The plan is that if during the middle of the date he seems like a nice guy, then you both get out and leave me there.” “Lindsey! What were you thinking?” Emily was surprised with Linds’s idea. “What? You’re my best friends and are the only ones who I think could pretend well enough that he won’t get suspicious.” “So you don’t only want us to go on the date with you pretending to be a couple, but you are also kicking us out of it if it is great? That’s rude.” “ Come on, I can pay you dinner another time.”
I looked at her and then at Emily. I don’t know if this is a good idea. Emily and I pretending to be a couple, things won’t end up okay. I have already watched movies like this before. “Only if you are comfortable with that. Don’t do it if you don’t want to.” Emily spoke, getting me out of my head. “And you want to?” “I mean… I wouldn’t mind being your girlfriend…” I look at her surprise with what she said. “... for the night, for the night of course. And pretend, pretend girlfriend.” She corrected herself, rubbing the back of her neck. “Okay, we can do it then. But I will charge you the dinner.” Lindsey smiled and hugged me. “Thank you!”
The next day arrived, and it was time for the date. Emily was getting me in my house and we were going together to the place Lindsey told us. I heard a knock on the door and it was her.
“Wow, you looked beautiful.” Emily said, giving me a single rose. “Thanks. You are as well. A rose?” “Well, I know you don’t like flowers that much, so I thought a bouquet was gonna be too much. So I got a rose. I was gonna bring you a sunflower, I know it's your favorite, but the flower shop didn’t have any.” “The rose is beautiful, Em. Thanks. But you remember this isn’t a real date right?” I don’t think I imagined it, but I swear I could see a little disappointment in her eyes. “I know, but I’m getting in the character.”
We got in the car and went to the restaurant. Arriving there we told the reservation names and we were taken to our table. But there were only two chairs. “Sorry, but I think there was a misunderstanding, the table was supposed to be for four people.” “No, the woman who called said it was a couple.” I looked confused at Emily, she only shrugged and asked the waitress. “Two couples, no?” “No, I’m sure it was only for one.” “Maybe she called before inviting us. You think you could add two more chairs?” “I will see what I can do.”
The waitress left and I looked at Emily. “I think I will text Lindsey, see if she is arriving already.” I grabbed my phone and texted her. A few minutes later came the response.
“I promise, I will kill Lindsey tomorrow.” “Why?” Emily gave me a confused look. I showed her the text. “She canceled the date and didn’t think about warning us?” Emily exclaimed. “Should we warn the waitress and get out?” “Why don’t we stay here and have dinner? We are already here anyway, we should just keep the act.” Emily suggested it to me. It wasn’t a bad idea. “We can do that.”
We sat on the table and waited for the waitress to come back. We let her know that the other chairs wouldn’t be more necessary and order our food. “So what do we do on a fake date?” I asked Emily joking about the situation. She smiled at me but it didn’t reach her eyes. We kept talking and acting normally, enjoying each other's company.
“This fake date is being nice.” I told Emily after a while. “Yeah.” She didn’t look at me this time. But before I could ask if she was okay the waitress came and asked if we needed anything else. “Sorry to interrupt. But the couple wants to order a dessert?” “Yeah, want to share a Petit Gateau?” I asked Emily, we always share the dessert. “Of course.” The waitress took our order and left. “I think this dinner is going well, even the waitress believes we are a couple. We are great pretend girlfriends.” “I need to go to the bathroom.” She didn't even wait for me to respond, she just stood and walked away. Okay something is wrong.
Emily pov
I needed to go to the bathroom. It was getting too much. I just needed a breath and then I could go back and keep the acting. I started washing my face, when I heard the door opening. I didn’t pay much attention to it, since it was a public bathroom, but when she spoke I knew immediately who it was.
“Okay, what is happening?” I finished washing and drying my face and answered. “Nothing, I just needed to go to the bathroom.” “Come on Em, you know you can’t lie to me.” “You’ll be surprised.” “What do you mean with that? What is bothering you?”
Okay, this is it. “Why do you keep saying and emphasizing that we are pretend girlfriends, that we are on a fake date?” She looked surprised with my outburst. “Because we are on a fake date, we are pretending to be girlfriends. Aren’t we?” I rolled my eyes. “The idea of dating me is too repulsive for you?” “Em, what are you talking about?” “What if I don’t want this to be a fake date? What if I don’t want you to be my pretend girlfriend?” “I don’t get it. You were the one who said first you were okay with coming on this date.”
I lowered my head and shook it. “I know. But I don’t like the idea of us getting out of here and I don’t get to hold your hand anymore and calling you babe.”
She was in silence, she didn’t respond and for the first time in a very long time, I couldn’t read what she was thinking.
“Please, tell me something.” I begged. “Do you want to know why I kept saying this was a fake date and that we were only pretending?” I just nodded. “Because I have to keep reminding myself that this wasn’t real, that you were only my best friend, that you didn’t want this. Because if I didn’t say so, I would get fouled by thinking it was all real and I don’t know how I would recover when this was all over.”
“So what about we stop pretending, and make it all real?” I grabbed her hand and we were looking at each other’s eyes very closely. “That depends.” Y/n told me. “Of what?” “Will you ask me on a real date this time?” I laughed, leaning in. “Definitely.” “And you won’t leave me behind this time?” “Come on, it was just one time. And I said I was sorry.” “I know, now come here.” She pulled me by my shirt and we kissed. God, I love this girl!

So I was curious whenever you have time, if you'd be able to write a Alex Morgan x R where the reader has a reputation for shrugging off injuries? During a big game she takes longer to get up and people worry until she says they have to try harder to break her? Something like that, but only if you can
Sorry taking so long. My life is a crazy mess right now and it was hard getting inspiration, motivation and time to write something.
I hope you enjoy it. Feel free to send more requests whenever you want :)

They'll have to try harder to break me (Alex morgan x reader)
Request: Alex Morgan x R where the reader has a reputation for shrugging off injuries? During a big game she takes longer to get up and people worry until she says they have to try harder to break her?
Okay, I took a loooong time to write it down. Sorry, my life is a crazy mess right now and it was hard getting inspiration, motivation and time to write something. But I will try to start writing again, at least during the break. I hope you enjoy!

Your pov
“I’m fine. It’s nothing, it was just a scratch.” I told Alex while cleaning the blood out of my knee. “Are you sure? You’re bleeding and it’s a little swollen.” She said, trying to get a closer look at my knee. But before she could touch it I finished the cleaning and put my knee down again. “Yes, I’m sure. Now stop worrying. I already told you it was nothing.” “I know, but you told me that last time as well, and where were we the day after? In the hospital with four stitches on your hips.”
I rolled my eyes, opened the door for us and entered the locker room where a few of the girls still were.
We had just finished the last practice before the friendly game we have tomorrow. During one of the drills I somehow was able to trip on my own feet, bumping and falling into one of the free kick mannequins. Earning a few scratches on my right knee. Nothing major.
“Y/n? How is your knee?” Christen asked. “It’s good, just a scratch.” “As always. You still even ask, Chris?” Sonnett jokes, coming to me and passing her arms around my shoulders. “Y/n is always tripping on her own. Tell me one time though that she admitted she was hurt?” Sonnett said, looking at the other girls. Everyone just shrugs agreeing with her. “That 's because I’m not.” I defended myself. “Right, do I have to remind you the other time then when you said you were fine, that it was nothing and we ended up discovering you had a concussion?” Alex said to me, giving me a serious look. Passing me our bags and walking toward the bus and out of the locker room. I looked to the door she just left and then back at the girls. “Don’t worry Y/n as long as you keep getting up right away like you always do, we are okay with it.”
I nodded at them and went after Alex.
Alex pov
It’s always like this. She gets hurt, but acts like it was nothing. I know that most of the time it is nothing, she is a defender after all, so she is always involved in tackles on the field. But I can’t help but worry. And Y/n don’t make it easy for me as well, she is always shrugging off injuries.
“Can I at least get a kiss?” Y/n came from behind me and hugged my waist. “That depends. Were you telling me the truth?” “I promise I’m okay. It was nothing. It’s just a…” “A scratch, yeah I heard it before. So why won't you let me look at it?” I said, turning around in her arms. “Because you will only get more worried, and it looks worse than it actually is.” I rolled my eyes. “Fine. But next time, if it hurts you promise to tell me?” “Of course.” I raised my eyebrow, not actually believing her. “As soon as it happens?” She took a little longer to answer me this time. “Yeah?” “Y/n!” “Will you be happy if my answer is, as soon as I think is important?” “No, not at all.” She just pouted at me, but in return I gave her a warning look. She was almost giving in, when a knock on the door stopped her. “Come on guys, dinner is in 10 minutes.” Y/n looked back at me and gave me a kiss. “Come on babe. We can’t get late.”
---
The game is 1-0 for us, it is now the 70th minute of the game and I got subbed off. I sat on the bank beside Tobin and she handed me a water bottle. “Tired?” “Yeah, a little. The game is tougher than we thought it would be, Germany is being hard on us.” I answered her not taking my eyes out of the game, after a good tackle from Y/n taking the ball out of bounds. “I know, Y/n is killing it though. They didn’t even get the chance to get close to the goal through her side yet.” I smirk at that. Of course I love to play, but I grew to love watching my girlfriend play just the same. Every tackle she makes and then quickly standing up celebrating each one of them. It’s hot.
We were watching the game when during one attack Y/n stole the ball from one of the germany players and looked around trying to find someone to pass the ball to. Becky took a little longer to appear, long enough for a second player to get to Y/n and they both to tackle her. The ball got out of bounds, but the referee called the foul. “Hey, ref. That’s a card. A red.”
Everyone stood up from the bench yelling. The ref ignores us and only gives a warning to the player. I shook my head and looked to the field to try to see what Y/n was doing, she normally would be yelling at the ref as well. But when I noticed, she was still on the ground. “Why is she still on the ground?” Tobin looked back at me and then to Y/n, probably thinking the same thing. Y/n never stayed on the ground, not even when she was needing stitches. She is that stubborn. I start panicking. The doctor ran to her and she gave them a small smile. We couldn’t see much from here, but she soon stood up and the doctors gave us a thumbs up, which means she will be back on the pitch. Thank, god!
As the doctors had to take a look at her, she had to get out of the field and wait for the referee to allow her in again. Giving me just enough time to ask how she is. I don’t even get to ask her, because just by looking at my face she knew what I was thinking. “I’m okay. They will have to try harder to break me.” She sent me a wink and went back on the field.
The game passed fast after that. Y/n kept playing like always, Germany only got one more chance of goal, while he had a few, but none of the teams scored. The score remained 1-0.
I greeted a few players, but went as fast as I could to Y/n. Hugging her when I got to her. “How are you? When I didn’t see you standing up, I got so scared. You always do.” “And I did it again.” “I know, but you took longer this time.” “How is your knee?” “My knee is good.” “Great, I thought they had got you this time.” I gave her a peck and went to look at her, just then I noticed her guilty face. A frown immediately appeared on my face. “They did? But you said your knee was fine.” “Well…”
“Y/n!” One of the team doctors called for her. I looked back at her with worry. “So, remember when I said they had to try harder to break me?” I only nodded at her. “They kind of did.” “What do you m… where?” “The doctors think my forearm is broken.” “And you kept playing?” “Yeah? It was noth…” “If you say ‘it’s nothing’ one more time, you will be sleeping on the couch for the rest of the week.” I gave her a stern look. She just smirks at me and kisses my cheek. “Now let’s go, I should have made you promise to tell me yesterday.”

Doing it the right way (Lindsey Horan x reader)
This is part two of the ‘Wedding invitation’ story. If you haven’t read it yet, I highly suggest you do.
Lindsey pov
“Has everyone answered yet?” Tyler asked me, seeing that I was looking at the confirmation replies of our wedding. “Not everyone yet.” “Who is missing? Anyone important?” “Y/n.” “Y/n? Really? Is she traveling or something? Maybe she just forgot about replying. But we already know she is coming, she is your best friend after all.” He hugged me from behind. “I don’t know. I thought she was here in Portland.” “Come on babe, don’t worry about it. It’s Y/n, she will never miss your dream day.” My dream day? “Yeah. Hope you’re right. Wouldn’t you meet a friend of yours for lunch?” I asked him. “Getting rid of me that easily? Okay, bye bossy.” “Babe, I already told you to not call me like that.” “Why? Is your nickname.” He smirks at me grabbing his car keys. “It’s Y/n’s nickname for me. Not everyones.” “Oh, okay. Bye babe. Love you.” “Bye.”
I waited for Tyler to leave and then sighed, putting away the computer from my lap and putting my hands on my face. What Tyler doesn’t know is that it's been a while since I last talked with Y/n, like really talk, for more than a one word response from her. It’s been a few months since she started to talk less and less with me, and it’s killing me inside.
Three months ago Tyler asked me to marry him. It was a beautiful day. We were traveling, so he woke me up with breakfast in our room. He then took me scuba diving, but didn’t actually dive with me, because he was too scared. We had lunch on the beach. And later we went hiking, something he never does. While there we met a spot full of roses and my family and his parents were there. He then got on one knee and asked me to marry him. I couldn’t say ‘no’.
A decision that I am questioning till today.
Thinking about it my mind started going crazy and I needed someone to help me out, so I called Sonnett. “Hey Linds. Whats up?” “I need you. Can you come here now?” “On my way.” I think my voice sounded more desperate than I imagined, because not long after Sonnett was already at my door.
“What happened? Did she reply?” Sonnet was the only one that knew about my feelings about Y/n and knew the message I wrote for her on her invitation. I shook my head and started crying. She just hugged me.
Flashback on
“So, why did my newly engaged best friend need my beloved presence the morning after her engagement party? Isn’t she supposed to be in bed with her fiance?” Sonnet came hugging me, when I got for breakfast. Yesterday, Tyler and I held a small engagement party for close friends so we could tell them the news. It’s been a week since he proposed, so I got some time to think about it.
“I need help.” I said that with my eyes filled with water. Sonnet got serious and grabbed my hand, taking me away from everyone. “Okay, let’s go somewhere more private so no one could bother us.”
We found a spot in a park near the restaurant we went to, which was empty and we sat there. “Okay, so what happened?” “I think I made a mistake.” “You will have to be more specific.” “I think I love Y/n.” “What?” “No, I don’t think. I know I love her.” “Okay, but you just got engaged.” “I know, that was the mistake.” “Linds… Why are you saying this now?”
I sighed, this is a long story… “I like Tyler, I really do. But I don’t think I ever loved him. And I started realizing that a month before he proposed, because Y/n started getting distant from me. We weren’t talking so much anymore, and when we did she only gave me short answers. And then she traveled for work and so did Tyler, and I realized I hadn’t even cared about him being gone. But I was counting the days so I could see her again. But then he proposed to me and my family and his family were there, and I couldn’t say no after everything he planned. So I accepted.”
“Linds, you shouldn’t…” “Wait, let me finish.” Sonnet only nodded, waiting for me to finish, so I kept talking.
“And the proposal was beautiful, he did almost everything I love, so I started thinking that it was just something inside my head, that he actually knew me very well and I couldn’t just throw what we have away. Of course some parts of it I didn’t love, like he brought pancakes for breakfast, I prefer waffles. We went scuba diving, but he didn’t even go with me. And despite the hundreds of flowers he bought for it, they were roses and I’m not very fond of them. I love tulips. But the important part was that he remembered that I love breakfast in bed, because I don’t like waking up early. That I love hiking, and that I have always dreamt of going scuba diving. So it was perfect.”
I looked at Sonnett and she was looking at me with a confused face. “But a few days after the proposal, he told me that he had other things planned. He would wake me up to go see the sunrise and then he would take me to a garden nearby and propose to me. And I know it is also beautiful but…” “It’s not you.” Sonnett complimented, and I shook my head. “and he also told me that he talked to Y/n a few weeks before that trip he made and asked for her help, so she was the one to help him plan and suggest everything, and the only parts that he changed were the parts I didn’t like. So what I started thinking was, she knows me better than anyone, she knows me better then him. And that incomplete feeling that I was feeling was because, after everything, I realized that the proposal was incredible, but it wasn’t perfect because the moment I looked back at him it wasn’t him I wanted to see getting on one knee it was her.”
I had my hands on my head and didn’t know what to do. After a few minutes of silence Sonnett spoke up. “Honestly Linds, I’m not surprised at all by what you’re telling me. I always knew you and Y/n have feelings for each other, you were the only ones who couldn’t see it. What I didn’t get is. Why are you still engaged? Why are you doing this if you’re not happy?”
Flashback off
I know this was a bad idea, but I didn’t want to break up with him in case Y/n didn’t love me back. So I decided to write a message on her invitation and see if she would respond. “She didn’t even respond to the invitation. What if she isn’t coming?” “Do you want her to come?” “What do you mean? Of course I want her.” “But if she comes, it means it will have a wedding and you won’t have her.”
Oh God, what am I doing?
“I’m gonna be honest with you Linds. I told you from the beginning, this was a bad idea. If you wanted to see if she would respond, if she feels the same way, text her, call her, go wherever she is and talk with her. But not send her a secret message on your WEDDING INVITATION. What did you expect her to do? You know her, you know she won’t act on it, because she doesn’t want to ruin a relationship.” “But I was at least expecting a text from her. She is ghosting me Sonnett. What if I lost her for good? I can’t be happy without her.”
Y/n pov
What was she expecting me to do? She is getting married. If she wanted me to do something, she wouldn’t have told me this on her wedding invitation. She would have said no. So, I decided to ignore it. If I couldn’t see her getting married before, I don’t know If I could handle seeing her now.
It’s been a month since I received the invitation. I’ve been living my life normal after that, well as normal as I can without seeing or talking with Lindsey. I came to visit my parents in Colorado, it’s been a while since I last saw them. Today they went for lunch with some friends, so I decided to go on a walk by myself.
I was walking for a while and when I noticed I ended up in an old soccer field. I looked around and instantly recognized it. The soccer field where I used to come along with Lindsey so she could practice her shots. I sat in the middle of the field and started thinking. How have we ended up like this? The best friends, it was us against the world. Now, we are months without properly talking with each other.
“I was wondering where you could be.” I would recognize this voice anywhere. “What are you doing here?” “This is our field. I can’t be here?” “Of course you can.” She sat beside me and we stayed in silence. No one knowing what to say. “You haven’t answered my text or my calls.” “I had nothing to say.” “But I do.” I closed my eyes and sighed. “What do you want to say Linds?”
“Did you see my message on the invitation?” “I did.” “And you’re not saying anything?” “What do you want me to say? You’re getting married in three months, Linds and I don’t know what idea of love you have in your mind, but you can’t love someone and marry to another person. So, even though there are a thousand things I could say to you, I would rather not do it.” I stood up and turned around so I could leave. I couldn’t stay here anymore. But she was fast and grabbed my arm before I could leave. “Say it. Say it to me. Yelled at me, turned me down. Do anything, just say it. But don’t leave. I can’t support you ignoring me anymore.” “I was just protecting myself. I can’t talk to you right now, because everytime I look at you all I remember is that I was too late. And it breaks my heart to know that I could have had what he has but I let it slip through my fingers. So I have to leave, so I can spare the little bit of strength I still have left to move on.”
I was about to turn around and leave, when the next thing I felt was her hands on my face and her lips in mine. I wanted to stay like this forever, to save this moment to eternity. But this isn’t right. So I push her back with my eyes closed. “I can’t do this.” “But why? You said…” “I don’t do this Linds. For more that I want to, you’re in a relationship. Is not fair for anyone, not for me and especially not for him.”
“I broke up with him. I’m not in a relationship anymore.” “Linds, you were going to get married. You can’t…” “Please Y/n/n, I already know I’m not marrying him. He is a nice guy, but I don’t love him, so I can’t get married to him. It’s not because of you. But that made me realize that I want you. I love you.” “Are you serious?” “More than anything in the world.”
I looked in her eyes and could only see love. God, how much I miss those eyes. So I pulled her back and kissed her. This time with more passion, showing how much I love her.
We stayed like this for a while, until air became an issue and we pulled apart. “I love you too, in case there was any doubt.” “Good to know.” She smirked and kissed me again
“He must be devastated.” I told her after we broke the kiss again. “Can we not talk about him right now?” “Sorry. But I have to ask. If you didn’t love him, why did you say yes?” “He brought both of our families and a few friends there. I got embarrassed to say ‘no’ in front of all those people. You know how I get.” “Douchebag, I told him you wanted something private, just you and your partner.” “Yeah. That was exactly the moment I knew our relationship wasn’t gonna work. Because in every moment of that day, all I could think was how much I wish you were the person doing all those things with me.”
I kissed her one more time and said “Don’t worry. We will have a lot of time together to do it the right way.” “I hope so, now shut up and kiss me again. I’ve been wanting this for a long time.” “That I can do, my Bossy.”

Ongoing crush (Alexia Putellas x reader)
This is part two of the 'First Crush' story. A lot of you asked for it. I tried my best, hope you enjoy it!
Your pov
“Alex?” I said to Alexia. To say I was nervous to come here today is an understatement. I was a wreck, but what do you expect? I was finally meeting my first crush and friend again after 10 years. We lost contact, so I have no idea if she still remembers me or if she would be happy to see me again. So I came over to say hi, but didn’t go for a hug respecting her boundaries.
“Hi Y/n/n. It's been a long time.” She answered. “It does, I’m sorry for that. It’s just…” “life happened.” She completed my sentence. “Yeah, life happened.” We looked at each other, both not knowing what to do, until she asked. “Is 10 years too long that I don’t deserve hugs anymore?” I laughed at what she said and finally hugged her.
It’s strange to feel so comfortable in a hug of a person you hadn’t seen for a year? I don’t care if it is. All I know is that I don’t want to end it. “Would you call me crazy if I say I miss you?” She whispered in my ear. “Not at all, I did too.”
Before we could talk some more, I heard someone coughing behind us. I get out of Alexia’s hug and look behind her to see who it was. A few of the girls were here looking at us, but I recognised the girl who coughed as Jenni Hermoso, the same player I did an evaluation and some exercise with yesterday.
“Jenni.” I greeted her. “Hi. Dr. Y/l/n. Nice to see you again.” “Come on Jenni, I said to not call me Dr., I’m just Y/n.” “I know, but I think it is incredible that you already have a PhD. And it’s cute how annoyed you get when I say that.” I rolled my eyes and looked at Alexia who was now looking at the ground biting her lower lip. “Ignore her. But anyway. Hi, I’m Mapi. And sorry but I’ve to ask. How do you know each other?” Mapi said the last part pointing at me and Alexia. “Oh, we are… we were friends?” I answered her but also kind of asking to Alexia. I mean we have been 10 years without talking with each other, could we still be considered friends? “We were?” Now it was Alexia looking confused at me. “Okay, I think you both need to talk some more. Y/n who is gonna be the first to do the evaluation?” “Oh. On the list is you actually, Maria.” “God, please call me Mapi. Let’s go, you can talk more later.”
I looked at Alexia and she gave me a small smile. I waved at her and asked while walking away. “I see you later?” “Of course. I mean, you will have to do mine evaluation.” I nodded at her and led Mapi to my room.
Alexia pov
I watched as Y/n left the room with Mapi and as soon as she was out of sight, I turned to Jenni. “I asked you one thing, Jenni. One thing. But you had to flirt with her? Really? You can’t stay quiet for a whole minute?” “Calm down Putellas. I was just kidding with her. She is a cool girl.” “I know.” I sighed, grabbed my bag on the ground and walked away from the room. According to the list that was sent to us, I was one of the last ones to meet Y/n so that gives me enough time to go and eat something. The last one was Jenni. I walked away from the girls trying to think of what just happened, but Jenni followed me.
“So, care to explain to your best friend what she meant with ‘were friends’? And better who is she to you that I can’t even flirt with her? I mean, you let the girls flirt with your sister.” “Hey, respect my sister.” “I didn’t disrespect her, I’m just curious.” We arrived in one of the cafeterias and sat. “It’s complicated. We were very close friends, but she used to live in London, so time moved us apart and we haven’t talked or seen each other in 10 years. So I don’t know what she meant, maybe she doesn’t consider us friends anymore.” “I find that hard to believe. The way she looked at you when she said that it seemed like she was just afraid of what you would think about it. But that doesn't answer my other question. Why are you so protective of her? If you… wait. Oh!” I looked at Jenni and she had a smirk on her face. “Why with that face? I don’t know what craziness got inside your head, but I’m afraid of it.” “You used to like her. And I even risk saying you still do.” I looked at her in surprise. I start thinking of some excuse that would get me out of this, but you know what, what is the point in lying. “I’m not even going to try to invent some other story. So keep all your flirtness away from her.” “This is precious. Wait, is she the reason why Alexia Putellas never thinks a girl is good enough?” Jenni practically yelled while laughing in the cafeteria, making some workers look our way. “Jenni, could you please shut up?’’ “Sorry, but I’m very excited. I’ve been trying to find you a girl for years and no one was ever good enough. They were too tall, too short, too blond or too brunette. But the real reason was that they weren’t her. Am I wrong?” “I’m not commenting on that.” I rolled my eyes and started using my phone. “Fine, do whatever you want. But I know it is true. What is so special about her anyway? I can see she is hot, but 10 years. She must have something.” “She is amazing, I feel so free around her. And in peace. And she is so smart and has a loveness in her eyes that leave me speechless. She was my first crush, and I kind of never got over her.” I closed my eyes and took some big breaths. When Jenni didn’t answer me I opened them to see her looking back at me. “What?” “It’s been 10 years and you still have it bad for her. I can’t even imagine how young Alexia was.” “Shut up. And it’s been 10 years, we both changed, I don’t even know if we still like each other, as friends.” “Well, time to figure it out. You’re next, go talk with her.”
I looked at my phone and indeed Aitana, who was the one before me, texted saying she was done. So I grabbed my bag again and went to the physiotherapy room.
Your pov
I had already met with almost every girl on the team. I did the evaluation and some tests on them. As soon as Aitana left my room I knew who was next. I was waiting, sitting on my desk holding some papers with Alexia’s personal information, such as previous injuries or lastest exams. I started to read it but my mind quickly traveled to some other place. What if she doesn’t like the person I am anymore? I know I changed a lot and probably so did she. Will this be against work ethic? She is a world class player now, I’m just a physiotherapist. What if….
I was so inside my head that I didn’t hear the door opening and Alexia getting inside. “I see you still play with your ring when you’re stuck inside your head.” I looked at her and stood up from the desk. “Alexia! Sorry I didn’t hear you arriving.” “It’s okay. I could see you were pretty focused. There is nothing serious or embarrassing there, right?” I laughed and led her to the examination table. “You don’t need to worry about it. An outstanding athlete, as always.” She rolled her eyes and I started the evaluation. I did some tests and asked some questions. But there was nothing out of the ordinary. “Okay, Alexia. That was it. Thank you for coming. If you need anything, just tell me.” “Of course.”
We looked at each other and when no one said a thing, Alexia grabbed her bag and turned around toward the door. But before she could reach it I called her. “Alexia!” She turned around and looked at me. “I… I just want to say sorry about my comment earlier. It was wrong of me to presume you would still consider us friends after all those years. When I heard your question I understood that you don’t agree with it and…” “Wait, wait, wait. That was not what I meant.” I looked at her confused. I was sure that after what I said and she asking if we ‘were friends’, that she didn’t agree with it. “I questioned but it was not because I didn’t think we were friends. But it was because you used the word ‘were’ not ‘are’, does it mean you don’t consider us friends anymore?” I look at her surprise. “No. I mean, yes.” “You’ll have to be more specific.” “I only said that because I didn’t know if you would consider us friends still, it’s been 10 years.” After that her frown turned into a smile. “I would love to still be your friend. And you’re right it’s been 10 years. Maybe we can meet and catch up?” “I would love that.” “Great, I’ll wait until you end with Jenni and we can go together. I know just the place.” She hugged me and walked away. I miss this.
Alexia pov
I put my bag in my car and came back to the building waiting for Y/n to finish with Jenni. A few minutes later, definitely more than anyone else, both of them got out of the room. Y/n already locking the door. Before I could say anything else I heard Y/n saying. “I’m serious Jenni, I’m expecting a call. I don’t give this number to everyone.” “Don’t worry Y/n. I’ll do good use of this number. You’ll hear from me soon.” They saw me and came closer. “Hey Lex! I didn’t know you were still here. We can talk more later, but I gotta go. I need to finish some stuff today so I can get ready for a date tomorrow. Bye Y/n, see you tomorrow.” I looked as Jenni hugged Y/n and left. My heart broke. Jenni barely knows Y/n and already has a date with her? Even after everything we talk?
“Alex?” Y/n’s voice got me out of my head. “We’re still going out? Or…” “Yeah. Did you drive here?” “No, I pedaled.” “Okay, we can put the bike in my car and we can drive together. Come on.”
We went to my car and I started the drive. We did small talk on the way, until we arrived at the destination I chose. “You remembered?” “Of course, the first coffee shop we went to together.” “Technically, the second. We met at starbucks.” “That doesn’t count.” We entered inside and sat in a small booth in the corner.
“So tell me, what happened during these years? All I know is that you got your dream job and already have a PhD.” I asked Y/n. “Well, all the studying paid off. I got a full scholarship. I started leaving by myself and as soon as I finished college I already had a job in a small girl club. One of the girls ended up signing a contract for West Ham and they were in need of a new physiotherapist, so she suggested me. And after that I got a new opportunity here, so here I am.” “You are here, just like we talked about.” “We both are.” “Yeah, together again. How we planned to.” I commented. She gave me a small smile. “And how are you? I know it was your dream for your father to watch you play here. I’m sorry for that.” “That’s okay. I think I’m getting better in dealing with it, of course I still remember him every time I enter on the field. But I know he is still watching me.” “He definitely is. I watched you during the UEFA U19 championship. You were amazing.” “Someone has been watching me?” “Maybe.” I laughed.
The waitress came with a portion of small brownies we ordered and asked if we wanted anything else. Y/n asked her for a drink and then it was me. “For me it’s a Grande Iced Caramel Macchiato, with Oatmilk and with Caramel drizzle.” The waitress wrote our order and left. When I looked back at Y/n she was with a shocked face. “What?” “With Caramel drizzle? What about the ‘No caramel’ policy?” “You would never let me forget that, would you?” “Of course not.” “I think I decided to taste it and turned out I like it.” She laughed at me and put a brownie in her mouth. “and also because it reminded me of you.” I say the last part lower but of course she heard it. With that we stayed in silence, the first one since we got out of the club. “Can I ask you a question?” I asked Y/n. “Of course.” “Why did we stop talking with each other? I know it got harder to speak everyday like we used to, but one day you simply stopped. I did something?” She looked at me and sighed.
“You didn’t do anything. In the beginning the study just was getting too much and our schedule really just wasn’t matching.” “I remember that, but you said that on vacation you would come visit your grandparents and we could meet up.” She was back playing with her ring. She was nervous. So I took her hand and intercalated our fingers. “I’m not mad, I just want to know. But if you don’t want to…” “No, I want to tell you. I was planning on coming. I needed to see you again. I had something important I needed to tell you. But two months before vacation started, both of my grandparents died. And in the beginning I just didn’t know what to do, I loved them so much. They died together while sleeping. And then when I was gonna tell you, you were in a camp and I didn’t wanna disturb you. Time was getting closer for my trip, but I couldn’t come back, knowing they wouldn’t be here. It was just too much.” “You could have told me. I was your friend.” “I know. But I didn’t want to disappoint you.” “So you thought it was better to just ignore me?” “It wasn’t going to be for forever, just until I got courage enough to tell you the truth. And I was planning on telling you. But some things happened and I lost my phone. So I couldn’t text you.”
By now Y/n was holding her cry and weren’t looking me in the eyes anymore. But instead of letting go and giving her space, I stood up from my side of the booth and sat beside her wrapping my arms around her. “That’s okay Y/n/n. Sorry, that happened. Sorry about your grandparents. And of course I would be sad about you not coming but you could never disappoint me.” We stay in silence like this for a few more minutes, with Y/n’s head resting on my shoulder. The waitress came and gave us our order. We were silently drinking when Y/n spoke up. “I saw your messages on Orkut.” I straightened up a bit after that, this means that she indeed ignored me. “But I couldn’t answer you.” “What do you mean?” “A few months before my grandparents passed, I found out I like girls…” Okay, where does she want to get with this? “They were fully supportive of me. But I never told my mom, I knew she wouldn’t like it. But a few weeks after their funeral my mom was looking into their phone and she read a text I sent them talking about this girl I liked. And she found out. She gave me an ultimatum, or did I stop talking with this girl and kept living in her house. Or I should find a new place to live. I was young and I was devastated, I wanted to go to college and had no idea if this girl liked me back. So I just stopped talking with her. She was my first crush.”
I listened to that in silence. I didn’t know what to say. Why was she telling me all this? Why couldn’t she have told me this years ago. She thought I wouldn’t support her?
“You’re biting your lip. What it’s on your mind? Tell me something, anything. Even if it’s yelling.” I looked at her confused, finally pulling my arm off her. “I’m not yelling at you. I just don’t understand. Why couldn’t you have told me all this years ago? You know I would have supported you, right?” She left a watery laugh and said. “I imagined. But… I didn’t wanna tell you this after finally talking to you again but.. you were the person I couldn’t talk to anymore.” “Why? I don’t understand, I…” And then I stopped. I was the girl she texted about with her grandparents? This is real? I was her first crush?
“Sorry. I shouldn’t have told you this today. I know you said you wanted to be friends again. I just couldn’t keep it a secret anymore. But I can leave now if you want. You just need to…” I wasn’t paying attention to what Y/n was saying. This is real. She is back and she has a crush on me. Wait! She had a crush on me. “Alex?” I turned my attention back to her. “I have to tell you something.” I said to Y/n and she looked at me with sad eyes. “So it turns out that during the same time I also had a crush on this friend of mine, a girl. It was complicated because she didn’t live in Spain. She used to live in London. And one day she just stopped talking with me.” With that her eyes changed from sad to a curious one. “But the thing is that she not only was my first crush, she is my ongoing crush. I kind of never got over her. So, Y/n/n tell me I WAS your first crush or…” She held my hand and interrupted me. “You’re definitely my ongoing crush.”
We looked at each other, we were so close and I couldn’t hold it anymore. I put my hand on the back of the neck and pulled her close. The moment we kissed it looked like we were back ten years ago. As best friends. As 15 years old. I was kissing my first and ongoing crush. We pull away and rest our foreheads on each other. “I know we still have to get to know each other better, we both changed in the last 10 years. But I would love to take you on a date tomorrow at lunch and get to know you better.”
She separated our heads and looked at me. “Tomorrow? I already have a plan for tomorrow, with Jenni.” “Are you still going on that date, even after what just happened?” “Date?” “Yeah, with Jenni.” She started laughing and gave me a peck.
“You’re not even my girlfriend yet and are already jealous?” “I was planning on asking you on the date, but you didn’t answer my question.” She shook her head laughing and answered. “She has a date tomorrow. And wanted to take the girl to the ‘amor y especia’...” “Your grandparents’s restaurant.” I interrupted. “Yeah, but it was crowded. It Turns out I now own the place. So I told her she could call the phone I gave her and she would have a table. But for that I need to go to the restaurant early and talk with my manager and partner.” “Oh.”
“But I’ll be free in the evening.” I smiled at that. “In the evening it is. And one more thing.” I took my phone out and gave it to her. “I need your number. And will follow you in every social media possible, so you don’t lose my number again.” “Don’t worry, that's not happening. And if it does, I know where to find you.”

First Crush
The words in italic means that the characters will be speaking English. If not, it means it’s Spanish.
“No, esto no es mi pedido.” “Lady, I’m sorry. But I don’t understand. No understando.” I laughed. It’s funny how some people think that changing the accent will make people who don’t speak English understand what they are saying. The girl in front of me, who was trying to do her order sighed, probably angry with the situation so I tried to intervene.
“This is not what she ordered, her order was a Grande Iced Caramel Macchiato, with Oatmilk and without Caramel drizzle. And a chocolate croissant. You put extra drizzle and added Cinnamon powder, and I’m sure this is an almond croissant” “Right, sorry for the inconvenience. I’ll fix it right up.” The waitress went back to the machines making another drink for the girl.
I looked at her and she had a shy smile on, looking back at me. “Thanks.” “It's nothing.” “It is, I’m thirty minutes here and she got my order wrong twice. I thought I would end up losing my flight.” “Now you can eat without a rush.” “Alexia!”
The girl went and grabbed her order, but before she came back they called my name as well, so I went to grab mine. We got out of the store and started walking toward the gates.
“Thanks again, Y/n?” “Yeah, that’s my name.” We started walking in the same direction, until I spoke. “Sorry, but I have to ask. What a girl like you who doesn't speak English is doing in a country that doesn’t speak spanish?” “Playing football. My team is here with me, but I wanted a drink and they were sleeping near the gate. So I came alone. You are not from Spain, right? Your Spanish is good, but there is a different accent.” “No, I’m English. But my mom is Spanish.” “Where are you going?” “I’m visiting my grandparents in Spain. My flight is at gate 7.” “Really? Mine too.” “Come on then.”
We kept talking for a while, waiting to board and then we found out we were also sitting next to each other on the plane. I found out we were both the same age, 15. I talked with her about my dream of becoming a sport physiotherapist and she talked about how she wanted to keep playing football and enter a professional team. A few hours later the plane landed so we got ready to say our goodbyes.
“What are you doing tomorrow?” “Tomorrow is my grandpa birthday. So I’ll be at his house.” She frowned at that and started picking her bags. “But on Wednesday or Thursday, I’ll be free.” She smiled at that. “I’ll text you, we could meet up.” “I’ll be waiting. Bye Alex.” I hugged her and got out of the baggage claim, meeting my grandparents outside.
At night Alexia texted me talking about how she was tired and saying that it was my thought. We kept talking until late and we both ended up sleeping in the middle of the conversation. We agreed to meet again during the week. She was on a school break so she was free after her soccer practice.
“This place is incredible.” I said admiring the place. “Is it, isn’t it?” “How do you find out about it?” “My dad brought me here one day after a bad game. And since then it has become our favorite place.” “This must be nice. And he supports you with football?” “He does, my family is a basketball-playing family, but since I started playing football he goes to all the games he can and brings me to watch a lot of Barcelona games.” “This is awesome. And one day he’ll be going to Camp Nou to watch you play.” “That’s the dream. I just don’t know if it will happen.” “I know it will.” “You never watch me play, how can you be sure?” “Because you look like the kind of girl who fights for her dreams. So I’m sure you’ll get there.” “Thanks. And just so you know, so do you. And who knows maybe we can be there together.” “Calm down Alex. I still have a few years till that.” “But it is the dream.” “It’s the dream… But you’ll have to get way better at English, you know that right?” She laughed and slapped my arm. “I’m working on it. I’m pretty sure that the waitress was just mocking me, how can she not understand ‘no caramelo’ is simple.” “If you say so.”
We spend the rest of the week hanging out with each other. She took me to one of her practices and we talked more about each other's families. I showed her my grandpa’s restaurant and it turned out she had already gone there once. And then I have to go back home.
“So, we can keep texting. And when you come to visit your grandparents we can meet up.” “Yeah, and if some day you decided to visit London, let me know.” “I will. Bye Y/n/n” “Bye Alex." We hugged a little longer than normal and said our goodbyes.
We kept talking for a whole year, with promises to see each other again. But then life happened. Her athlete life became more complicated, I was studying hard to enter college. And my grandparents passed away, so I no longer went to visit Spain. So with time our texts become less and less frequent. Until one day it stopped.
I follow my dreams. I became a sport physiotherapist, currently working at West Ham. She achieved her dreams. Everyone knows who Alexia Putellas is. What made it harder to forget her, to forget my first crush.
Alexia’s pov
“Come on Alexia, stand up. Just one more.” “If you say ‘one more’, one more time I will kill you.” I said, sending a look at Jenni. We were on our last exercise and Jenni was ‘motivating’ us. She got hurt during practice and wasn't participating in conditioning. “Fine, but you’ll have to stand up sometime. We agreed to hang out today and you’ll be the driver.” “Whatever.” I complained. “Come on, give her a break. Alexia never gets to enjoy the party, what if she decides she wants to hook up with some girl and not drive us home?” Pina said, offering me a hand and helping me stand up.
“That’s because she never hooks up.” Jenni answered, making Pina look confused. “What do you mean? Why?” “Don’t know, she must be waiting for the enchanted princess.” Jenni said, rolling her eyes. “Is that jealousy Jenni? Or envious because she didn’t want to date you?” Some of the girls mock Jenni, making her sneeze water at them.
“Okay, enough talking about my love life.” “Or the lack of it.” Jenny mock. “Really? I’m fine being the driver for tonight. Just let me know when to pick you up and I’ll be there.
I left the girls at the gym and went to the locker room. Don’t get me wrong, it is not that I don’t like hooking up or dating girls. I do. It’s just that any girl seems like the right one for me. I don’t know why. Okay, maybe I know. No one is her. I try not to compare girls with her, but it just happens and there is not much I can do. Who knew that a first crush could last so long.
I went home and got changed. A few minutes later I received a text saying that we would have to go to the practice tomorrow, just so we could do some evaluation and so we could meet the new member of the technical committee. The girls then decided to meet at Pina’s house and party there, so we could be at least alive for tomorrow.
I picked a few of the girls and we went to Pina’s house. Not much after they started to drink and the chaos began. This is what normal partying looks like with these girls. I danced a little, had fun, but there is only much you can do without getting drunk and having to be the responsible one for the night.
“I’m seriously she is so hot. I don't know why she didn’t come sooner. I think it was about time that the old guy walked away.” Drunk Jenni spoke. “Who are you talking about?” Irene asked. “The new physiotherapist. I got to meet her today after practice. She is HOT. It even made getting hurt worth it.” I rolled my eyes, Jenni is always trying to hook up with every woman she thinks is good looking.
“I bet 20 bucks, she will not be interested in you.” “Oh! I bet 30 that Jenni can’t make her agree on going on a date.” The girls started to make bets. “Hey! Where is the belief in me? Of course I can. I’m hot.” Jenni complained. “Right. Just like the last doctor that came in. What was her name again? Julia?” We all laughed. “Hey, she was married. But the physio doesn’t use a ring, so I have a chance. And I’ll earn all your money, prepare your wallets.”
The night ended and some of the girls decided to sleepover, I took some back home and when I finally arrived at my house, I crashed.
The next day I was the first one at the locker room, and one by one the girls started to arrive. Most of them complaining about the early hours or about the hangover. If not both. Coach soon arrived along with the rest of the technical committee. I don’t pay much attention to them. Until I heard them saying.
“Well, this is the new physiotherapist, Y/n Y/l/n. You all will have the chance to meet her later on, as she will be doing the evaluation on everyone this afternoon. So, you are all free to go eat something and please come back on your time on the schedule.
Coach dismissed us and started talking with Y/n. I couldn’t take my eyes out of her. We met again after all this time, and at this club, where we said we would be. She is taller and more beautiful than I remember. She looked back at me and smiled. She kept glancing back at me and trying to hear what Coach was telling her. I don’t know how much time I kept looking at her, but then Coach walked away and she started coming in my direction. But I was pulled back from my trance by Jenni’s voice.
“She is coming, pay attention to the magic happening. Maybe you can learn how…” But I interrupted her before she could make anything. “You will not even try to flirt with her.” “What? Ale, is just…” I look into her eyes. “I’m serious.” She backed off and I could feel everyone looking at me confused, but I didn’t care. Because when I look back I was looking at her eyes.
“Alex?”

The Spotify playlist (Emily Sonnett x reader)
“Hey Linds!”
I greeted Lindsey when she entered in the backseat for our drive to training. I was driving while Sonnett, my girlfriend, was in the passenger seat. Music was being played on the radio and the breeze was great as the window was opened.
“Hey guys! If we get late you’ll be doing my laps.” Lindsey complained from the backseat. “If you were so worried you could have walked yourself to practice. You live literally three blocks from the stadium.” Lindsey laughed and replied. “And tired my legs before…”
“And now what? You don’t like my friends either?” Emily kind of yelled at me, interrupting Lindsey. With the outburst me and Lindsey looked in shock at Emily.
“Excuse me?” I asked, not quite getting what the outburst was about. “Nothing. I don’t want to fight. I’m just still mad.”
I laughed at this. I can’t believe she is still mad at it, I thought we had solved it before we left home.
“Babe, I already said I was sorry. I thought you’d understand.” “How can I understand that? I just ended the conversation because I was still processing. But I am hurt. You’re my girlfriend, you should be the first to support me.” I sigh at her answer, thinking on how I could solve this. “And I do. That has nothing to do with it.” “Of course it does. I’m still mad.” “Okay. And what can I do to compensate?” I asked.
She looked at me with a contemplative look. If she was really thinking it through it means she is really sad with it. I honestly didn’t think it was gonna be a big deal and I actually don’t understand why it is, but I can’t let my girlfriend be sad like that.
I looked back by the rearview mirror at Lindsey who was sitting, quiet, confused and, may I risk saying it, very uncomfortable with the situation. We locked eyes and I just shook my head, mouthing an ‘later’ for her. She just nodded her head.
“Look, we arrived. I’ll try to focus at practice now, and we can talk later.”
With that she got out of the car and without even looking at us, got inside the training facility. Me and Linds got out of the car and I was prepared for the questioning.
“ don’t want to intrude if it is anything serious but, what happened? You guys fought?” “Kind of, I don’t know. If you ask me it is nothing serious, but Emily for sure thinks it is.” “Can I know?” “She forgot her phone at home today. So she got my phone to play her Spotify playlist on my Spotify. But it turned out that I don’t follow her on Spotify and she got mad.” Linds stopped walking and looked at me surprised. “Because you don’t follow her on Spotify?” “Yep.”
She burst out laughing at this.
“Right? And it got worse, because trying to defend myself I told her that I didn’t even know about it because normally we listen to music on her phone directly from her playlist, so when I’m using it I use to listen to my songs.” “How is this worse? I don’t get it.” “Well, from that, all she interpreted was ‘I don’t like your playlists’.” “Oh god, this is precious. Wait, you know she has, like, a lot of playlists right?” “I know.” I grumbled and continued the walk. “Including some she made just for you.” “I know and I love them. It’s just that I also like to listen to other songs.” “This is hilarious.” “Could you tell this to her?” “Oh no, you deal with your own problems.” “Thanks for the help.”
We entered inside the building and just as I closed the door a thought came to my mind.
“Wait, how do I follow someone on Spotify?”
Lindsey started laughing at me.
“Are you sure you date Sonnett? She is like the queen of Spotify and you didn’t even know we can follow people on it.” “Well, I have other qualities that make me a great girlfriend.” “Not today.” “I’m always learning. But let’s go before we get late and I still have a plan to put into action.”
We went to the locker room and music could be heard inside of it. After only a few minutes I knew that it was Emily’s playlist that was being played. I sat in my locker to put my cleats on and Linds sat next to me. As soon as Emily saw us she talked to Ellie Carpenter out loud so everyone could hear, especially me.
“Thank you Ellie, for supporting me by listening to my Spotify playlist. You’re a true friend.”
Everyone looked confused at Emily, but brushed it off. Used to Emily's unusual behavior. I just shook my head. Till when she was gonna act like that? The answer for that, for a little bit more. Because next thing I knew she was coming toward me and Linds, but completely ignoring me.
“Linds, my dear friend, wants to be my partner during warm up?” Me and Lindsey were surprised by this question. “Really?” I asked, trying to see if she was serious.
Linds looked at me and back at Emily, probably thinking if she wants to enter inside this situation. Me and Emily always warmed up together, even before we started dating. Is our tradition. I kept looking at Emily to see if she was gonna say anything, but she avoided my eyes. I just shrugged and nodded at Lindsey, letting her know that she could go and that I wouldn’t be mad.
I ended up warming up with Tobin and didn’t talk with Emily during the whole practice. She would ignore me every chance she could. When we were next to each other in line during the exercise, during water break when I would ask her for my water bottle, during lunch time and during gym. I already had enough of this situation, she was overreacting about it. I was okay with her just getting a bit mad about it at first and then she would ask me to do something to compensate for it. Fine. But changing our tradition and ignoring me like that, it was way too much. If she wants to ignore me and pretend that I don’t exist, okay. I can do it too.
As soon as practice ended I showered, changed my clothes and grabbed my stuff. I just bought a simple backpack, so it was light. Emily was outside leaning on the car, talking with Linds about something funny. I went toward them, grabbed the car keys and gave it to Linds, she looked at me confused and I explained.
“I’ll walk back to the apartment. You can drive back with the car.” “But you live far.” Lindsey replied. Emily, confused with the situation asked. “Babe, what are you doing?” “Oh, now you talk. I’m not about to be ignored in my own car. I’ll walk back home.” “It’s far, come with us. I’ll talk. It was just…”
But I interrupted her before she could say anything else.
“It’s okay. The walk will be good. See you later.”
With that I left them behind and started my way back home. It'll probably take an hour to get to the apartament, but this way I’ll get some time to calm down and I hope Emily will think about the way she was acting.
Emily pov
Y/n had just turned around and walked away from us. She decided she was gonna walk back home even though we live over 7 miles away. It’s not that long if you drive by car, but she is walking and we have just trained.
“This is stupid. She is overreacting.” “Is she?” Lindsey asked. “What do you mean?” “I would be extremely pissed as well if my girlfriend ignored me on purpose during the whole day.” “It's not like that, I was…”
But Lindsey interrupted me.
“Sonnett! I’ll say this because I’m your friend, so I can. Shut up and think about what you did. One thing is to argue with her about that stupid Spottify playlist and mock her about it. Now ignoring her and making a fool out of her is another one completely different.”
What does she mean by ‘making a fool out of her’, the only thing I did was pretend I was mad at her. She knows I was not actually mad. Didn’t she?
“Sonnett, think how would you have felt if you had tried to talk with her and she ghosted you.” “Heartbroken. Alone.” “Even though you were kidding in the beginning. You did it for 8 hours straight, personally.” “Shit! I crossed the line this time, didn’t I? Dammit. Come on, we will get her on the way.”
We get inside the car and drive our way back home. I kept my attention on the road and on the sidewalk to see if I saw her, but nothing. I left Linds at her house and got back on the road. I got to the apartment and she was nowhere to be found. Of course she would take another way back, she didn’t want to get in the car. She knew if we had passed through her we would have stopped. So I sat at the front door and waited for her.
A little over an hour passed and she turned the street corner. I stood up and waited for her to get close. While she was getting close I took a moment to look at her, her expression was a mixture of emotions. She had her jaw clenched, signaling she was mad, but her eyes betrayed her, they were red, meaning she had cried and worse I was the reason for that.
“What? You forgot the keys?”
She asked without even looking at me. She passed through me and opened the door and got inside. I enter behind her, close the door and before she could go farther I hold her hand turning her toward me.
“I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have done that.” “So why did you do it?” “You know why. But I wasn’t really mad I was just messing. But it got out of hand.” “ What exactly are you apologizing for?” “For the way I treated you.”
She let out a sigh and hugged me. I hugged her back and pressed kisses all over her, ending on her lips.
“I don’t like when you cry. Sorry, I thought you knew I was not actually mad.” I said caressing her cheeks. “I knew at the beginning, but then you didn't even look my way. You broke our tradition and ignored my questions like I was a ghost. It hurt.” “I’m sorry. I won’t do it again.”
“Argue with me, fight with me, prank me, whatever, but don’t ever ignore me again. I felt awful and like I was an idiot because of it.” I knew she was hurt from what happened, she almost never cried, I even now, her eyes were red and with tears. “I promise.” “Now give me a hug.”
I laughed and hugged her again. I was still enjoying the moment when she pushed me and said.
“And I’m sorry as well. I know you had your reasons, I’m not devaluing your feelings. I…” But I interrupted her. “Doesn’t matter anymore, I shouldn’t have done what I did.” “I know, we already talked about it. Anyway, on the way I did something.”
“You walked over 7 miles in only an hour and still had time to do something?” “I didn’t walk. Tobin left me in the back block at that park we go sometimes. I walked back after I finished this.” “Here I was patiently waiting for you and you were just at the park.” “Stop mumbling. As I was saying… in the way I made you this.”
Y/n showed me her phone. When I got a better look of it, she was on her Spotify profile, in it had a playlist called Emily.
“You made me a Spotify playlist? For me?” “Yeah, it’s not made of your favorite songs. But I tried to put in it songs I hear when I’m thinking of you. Songs that remind me of you.”
I started to get emotional.
“But you don’t do playlists. Why did you do it?” “Because I know Spotify playlist is your love language. I am sorry for not following you, I promise I didn’t even know that was even a thing. But I like your playlists, I do. Especially the ones you made for me.”
“I’m sorry I overreacted. It was stupidity.” “A little bit. But it’s you, and I respect that you think this is something important. So… I followed you and all your playlists. And I’ll do my best to keep track of whether you created a new one or not.”
I pull her on a crushing hug and passionate kiss. I have my own playlist now. Can you believe this? And better yet, my own girlfriend who made it.
“Thanks. Now, come one. I want to hear my playlist. Did you know nobody ever made me a playlist before? This is so cool.”
I grabbed my phone that was already connected to the bluetooth and entered Spotify to play the playlist. I searched for her name and entered so I could select the playlist. But before I could enter Y/n hit my arm slightly and when I looked at her to ask why, she had a shocked look on her face.
“I can’t believe this. Are you for real?” “ What?” “You ignore me the whole day, you discuss with me because I don’t follow you. But you don’t follow me either on Spotify?” “What are you talking ab…”
When I looked at my phone again my eyes wided, indeed I wasn’t following my girlfriend on Spotify. Shit!
“Look, in my defense…” “No, no defense. You’re sleeping on the couch tonight.” She argued back. “Come on babe. Don’t do that. Until today, you didn’t even have a playlist. Why would I follow you?” “Why? Let me repeat what you said to me earlier “because you’re my girlfriend”.”
She has a point! A big one.
“Dammit. Sorry?” “I can’t believe this. You owe me a massage now.” “Why?” “Is that or the couch? Your choice.”
I gave her a look, checking if she was telling the truth. But when I saw she wasn’t going to back off I made the wisest decision.
“I’ll get the oil. Can we just put the playlist to play first?” “Okay, but I think you would rather put the second one.” “Second? You made me two playlists?”
“Yeah, the first one is for when we are apart and I miss you.” “Oh, this is cute, I love it babe. And I love you.”
I hugged her and gave her a kiss. She broke the kiss and started walking toward the bedroom.
“Oh, and the second is for when we are together…. in the bedroom.”
My eyes widened again, this time full of lust. She smirked at me and entered the room already taking her shirt off. I was fast to press play on the second playlist and brought the music box to the room. Let’s just say she got the massage and something more.

I just want to go home (Ona Batlle x reader)

That’s not how I imagine my week going. The first day it went great. I qualified for the 2023 World Cup. My teammates and I have just won the Concacaf trophy, over Canada of all teams. Won a classic, I celebrated and took the first flight I could to England. I have told Ona that I wouldn’t be able to get there in time for the game, but I would be there for the semi finals. And then we would celebrate together the rest of the week. She argued saying that the game would be tough, that I couldn’t say that yet. But I was so sure they could make it.
Now here I am, looking at a devastated Ona, after losing the game to England. A game that during the most part of it, looked like they would win. But they suffered a come-from-behind defeat and now they were eliminated.
All I could see was the hurt in her eyes and her jaw clenching from trying to hold back her tears. Some England players pass through her, shaking her hand, even some Spanish players try to talk with her, but she wasn’t having any of it. The only one who was able to get something from her was Tooney, her Manchester teammate, who got her to hug her back.
She was lost and all I wanted to do was to go there and hug her. But I couldn’t. I kept looking at her until Earps saw me and nodded her head greeting me. She didn’t waste a minute and went to Ona. Initially, I saw Ona dismissing the goalkeeper just like she did with everyone else. But then her eyes widened and she looked my way. I could see some tears starting to fall on her face, but she quickly brought her jersey to her eyes and cleaned them. And come to my direction.
As she was getting close I opened my arms and she buried herself in them. Immediately I could feel my jersey getting drench and Ona sobbing. She wasn’t shaking, so I knew she was holding back.
“You are here?” I could barely hear her voice under the thousand of England fans singing Sweet Caroline around us. “Of course I am, I couldn’t miss it for the world. I’m sorry for the game.” “We couldn’t win.” “That happens. But you played so well. I’m very proud of you.” She shook her head on my shoulders. And I still haven’t been able to see her eyes. “Babe, can you look at me?” Again she shook her head. “Please.” “I don’t want them to see me crying.” I kissed the side of her head and said. “It’s okay honey, you can cry. You don’t need to hold back.” “I don’t want to cry in front of them. I want to be strong.” “Ona Batlle Pascual, you’ve just played a 120 minute game, getting fouled the whole game. You are strong. One of the strongest people I know.”
I was about to speak again, when she tightened her hold on me and I could feel a kiss on my neck. Then she raised her head and I could finally see her red eyes from holding tears back. I held her face with both my hands, caressed her cheeks and said. “I’m so proud of you. I love you Ona.” And gave her a kiss that was quickly reciprocated. I pulled back and touched our foreheads, we stayed like that in silence for a while, when she spoke.
“I have to go.” “It’s okay. I’m not going far.” I said pulling back from her. As the game was played in Brighton I decided to book a hotel in the city and tomorrow travel back to our apartment in Manchester. “Can you wait for me?” “Of course, I’ll wait for you outside. It’s good? Or do you want me to wait in the hotel?” She sighed and bit the corner of her lower lips. “I just want to go home. Can we go home?” “Today?” She nodded her head. “Will your Coach be okay with it?” She shrugged. “It's not like we are needed here anymore.” I hate to see her like this. “Okay, we can go home. I’ll try to book a flight. Now go, I’ll be waiting.” “Meet me in the hotel.”
I agreed with her and watched Ona leave toward the locker room. As soon as she was out of sight I made my way out of the stadium. I got outside and started looking for some flights, unfortunately there were no flights to Manchester tonight, so we would have to wait until tomorrow. I texted her the news and she said it was okay and that she would go to my room as soon as she arrived at the hotel. Not long after I heard a knock at my door. I opened and Ona crushed in my arms again.
I brought her toward the bed and lay our bodies on the bed, with her on top of me resting her head on my chest. Then she did what she must have been wanting to do since the end of the game. She started crying, she was crying so hard I could feel her body shaking. I kept saying sweet words in her ears, caressing her hair and leaving kisses on her head. Just to let her know I was there and that I love her. An hour later she started to calm down and her breathing was getting lighter, I thought she was asleep and spoke.
“I love you Ona. Sorry, I couldn’t bring you home today.” Kissing the side of her head. But she was still awake, she looked up and answered. “You did. You are my home Y/n.” She kissed me, then put her head on my chest and said right before going to sleep. “I love you too.”

Wedding invitation (Lindsey Horan x reader)

Your pov
I’m sitting at a bar drinking. Honestly, I’m way past the limit of what is considered healthy. But I don’t care. Not today at least. I shouldn’t be drinking, not when I have training tomorrow. But I couldn’t handle myself. Not when this small envelope in my hands is the cause of my breakdown.
Flashback
“Come on Y/n, faster!” A 5 years old Lindsey rides her bike toward the nearest soccer field. With you behind her. “I’m trying, your house is closer to the field. That’s not fair.” “You’re just making excuses.” “I’m not. Your house is closer.” “But you are my neighbor. It’s not very far.” You both arrive at the field and Lindsey gets the ball from her bike basket. “I won, so you’re on goal. But I let you kick some later, now go to the goal.” “Bossy!”
Flashback end
Me and Lindsey have been best friends since we were young. My parents moved to her neighborhood when we were three, we literally lived next to each other. We grew up together, playing soccer, studying in the same class, we did everything together. We were inseparable. We always have each other's back. And when I say always, I mean always.
When we start having our first crushes.
Flashback
“Hey, Y/n. Can I ask you a question?” A boy from the 7th grade asked me. “Yeah, what’s up?” “You are Lindsey's best friend, right? So you must know. Is she seeing someone?” “What?” “Like, is she single? I really like her, she is so pretty and smart.” “Yeah. Humm… No, she is not.” “Nice, thanks Y/n.”
He walked away, and soon Linds came curious, asking me questions. “What did he want to talk to you about? What did he ask?” “Calm down, he asked if you were single.” “You said ‘no’ right?” “No, I said you were dating.” “Y/n/n!” She slapped my arm. “I’m kidding. I said you were single.” “Great. You think he will ask me out?” “Have no idea, he has no reason not to.” “You’re right. Now come on, we have to go shopping. And you promised to go with me and help with the bags.” “I don’t remember me saying that.” “But you will do it, because you’re my best friend.” “Fine. Come on bossy!”
Flashback end
For when we have our first heartbreak.
Flashback
“He broke up with me. He said I was too bossy and only wanted to play soccer.” A 15 year old Lindsey was crying in my arms. “He is stupid Linds. I’m sorry. But he was not worth it.” “I know, but he really hurted me.” “What do you want me to do? I can beat him up.” “Don’t even think about it. You might be kicked out of the tracking team.” “They wouldn’t know. And glad to hear you would be worried about me being kicked out of the team, but not getting beat up.” “I know you can handle yourself.” “Thanks, for the trust. And now what do you want to do to forget about him?” “Let’s play soccer?” “Of course.” “And you are on goal.” “Anything for you bossy.” “Hey, really?” “What? You’re bossy. But you’re my bossy. No one else can call you that.”
Flashback end
We were always the closest of friends, even when she was miles away in France, or just a few hours away in Portland. We were always there for each other. And we almost turned into something else.
Flashback
We were out celebrating her call up for her first world cup. We decided not to get drunk because she had training the next day. But that didn’t stop us from going out to dance with some friends. Despite not being alone, we were in our own world, dancing, laughing and singing to the songs. When the DJ put some slow songs to play we danced together, and for me it was like the best dance ever. We looked into each other’s eyes and for a moment we forgot everything else. “You looked beautiful tonight, Linds!” “Thanks, Y/n/n. Thanks for being here for me, through everything.” “Always.” We stayed like this looking into each other and next thing I see we were starting to lean in. I would kiss her, I would kiss my best friend. My crush. We were almost touching when the DJ changed the song for a more animated one. Before we could do anything, one of Lindsey’s friends jumped on us and started to sing the song. Soon more friends joined in and our moment was ruined. Lindsey didn’t say a thing about it. So I decided to let it go, it was her moment after all. “Guys, let's go get some drinks.” The same guy who interrupted us said, his name was Tyler. Lindsey looked at me and invited me to join them. “Come with us!” How could I say no? “Of course. I’m right behind Bossy!”
Flashback end
But I lost my chance. The courage didn’t come after that night and next thing I know she was dating. And guess with who? Tyler. Yep! The same guy who interrupted my only chance.
And he is the reason I’m here today. I knew they were engaged. He asked for my help on it. Because according to him ‘No one knows her better than I do.’ I wasn’t there when he did it, I couldn’t. But she called me as soon as the rings were on her hands.
Flashback
“Y/N/N!! Look!” She showed me the diamond ring on her hand. “So you said yes! Congratulations Linds!” “Thank you. I’m so happy! And he told me you help him with everything. I wish you were here.” Despite what my heart felt, the look on her face brought a smile to my face. “I couldn’t be, sorry. But I can’t wait for us to meet again and I promise to hear all about it.” “Deal. And I’ll pay you lunch as thank you.” “Deal.” “Hey Bossy!” Tyler called her from the phone. He said something I couldn’t quite understand and Lindsey turned to me, telling she should go. “Y/n/n I have to go, but I’ll call you another time to tell you everything. Bye.” I waved goodbye and ended the call. Bossy? Well, she is not my Bossy anymore.
Flashback end
I knew they were engaged. But everything just got more real when I received this envelope in my hands. The wedding invitation. Tyler and Lindsey. I didn’t even open it yet. I came straight to the bar. What could I do? I have to go, I have no other choice. After that phone call, I tried to distance myself from Linds a little bit. It was too much. But now seeing this, I don’t know what hurts the most.
When I decided I was drunk enough. I opened the envelope and started reading. Tears started falling down my eyes. They are getting married. They really are.
I was almost putting the invitation back on the envelope, when something on the backside of the card caught my attention. Small gold letters written with her messy handwriting, her handwriting… worlds that made my cry harder and made my world stop at the same time. What does this mean?
In a corner scribbled on the back, she said ‘My love I confess. I’m getting married, but the greatest love of my life is YOU.’

Meeting the girls (Kelley O’hara x reader)
Part two of You’re my home
This is a request, sorry if it’s not that good.
Your pov
“Are you sure about this? I’m pretty certain that the best now is for you to stay here, treat your bruises, cuts and broken things or even check your head, you probably have a concussion. Yeah, you probably have one. You need to stay quiet when you have a concussion.” Kelley was freaking out right now. “Look who is telling me. The girl who got drunk and partied all night after a concussion.” She frowned, “That was different… I had just won a world cup. You were literally crushed by a building.” “But I’m fine. I’m not feeling anything.”
I’m not lying. I’m not feeling any pain, but this is probably because of the amount of morphine they gave me and the adrenaline that I’m still feeling. “First, you’re probably lying and second, just because you’re not feeling it doesn’t mean you don’t need to be checked out.” “Okay. Let’s make a deal. We will meet your friends and then we will go to the hospital. I’m just gonna say ‘hi’, not party with them. I know I need to go to the hospital.”
She didn’t answer, instead she kept looking at me with a frown on her face, but then looked to the ground. “Kell. Babe. Look at me.” I lift her chin and look at her eyes. “What's the matter?” “I’m just worried. I thought you had died, that I had lost you. And for some miracle you are out of there, alive. But now you’re being stubborn and don’t want to go to the hospital. What if your injury is bad and you’re just not feeling because of the adrenaline. You don’t understand that I can’t lose you. I need you safe at home.” “I’m sorry.” I pulled her, embraced her in my arms and gave little kisses on her head. The grip she has on me hurts me a little, but I’m not crazy about letting go of my sobbing girlfriend.
After a few minutes we were interrupted by the paramedic. “Captain Y/l/n. Can we go to the hospital?” I looked at Kelley's red eyes and couldn’t say another answer. “Of course.” Kelley immediately let out a sigh of relief and gave me a peck. “But text Chris and tell her to meet us at the hospital.” “Fine. But Tobin and Alex are probably coming along.” She warned me, as the paramedics closed the ambulance door and started the way to the hospital. "That's okay. I want to meet the women who can keep you in check when I’m not around.” She laughed and said, “In that case, it’s just gonna be Alex and Chris, because Tobin is just as bad as me.” I give her a pointed look. “Okay, maybe a little chiller, but just as irresponsable.”
Not long after we arrived at the hospital. As soon as we got there, the doctors walked me through a load of exams. Turned out I had three broken ribs, a concussion, a lot of cuts that needed stitches and a little piece of an iron bar that was stuck to my leg (but didn't cut anything vital so they only took it out and stitched it up). Now I was in the room, trying to rest a little bit, the exhaustion now getting to me.
“Don’t sleep. Keep talking to me. The doctors said you can’t sleep, at least not for a couple of hours.” Kelley said, squeezing my hand. “I’m not sleeping, I’m just resting my eyes babe.” “I’m not buying that.” “Okay then, tell me more about how the game was. All I know is that you won.” “Nothing much happened. It was an easy game. I assisted, Christen scored, a Stanford’s combo. You would have cheered a lot. Oh, Chris cursed and they were showing her on the big screen.” “No way she did that. On field?” “Yeah, she had missed a goal. You have to mock her about it.” I was about to answer Kell when a voice interrupted us at the door. “Oh, that’s hypocrisy. You can’t say bad things about me when I’m not around.” Christen entered the room with Tobin and Alex behind her. “Don’t worry Chris we were with full intention on mocking you when you got her.” I answered her and she came to my bed and gave me a kiss on the head. “Thank God you are okay. I almost panicked when I saw what happened.” “Almost? You almost broke the hotel door when you saw the news. I would say you both panicked and a little bit more.” Tobin said, making herself seen from behind Christen.
“By the way, I'm Tobin. It’s nice to meet you.” “Hi Tobin, I heard a lot about you.” I answered with a smirk on my face. “Kelley O’hara what lies have you been telling your girlfriend about me?” The girls laugh. “Don’t worry, all good things, but I already understood that I can’t let both of you together without supervision.” I told her and she pretended she was hurt by it. “I’m very responsible.” “Oh Tobin, she is not falling for that. Hi Y/n, I’m Alex Morgan. It’s so good to finally meet you.” “Hi Alex. It’s good to meet you as well. I just wish it was under better circumstances.” “Don’t worry about it. Can you name a better first impression than having a building collapsing on top of you and getting out of there walking?” Tobin said. “Tobin!” Christen slapt the back of her head and Kelley threw a plastic cup that was on the table. “Chill, I was just kidding. She was able to tame Kelley, she already gave us a good impression without even trying.” “Hey. Look who's talking, you are so tamed by your girlfriend that you wake up today an hour earlier just so she would have her coffee hot as soon as waking up.” Kelley answered. “Oh, and you didn’t even drink at the last party just so you could talk with your girlfriend sober after her shift.” Tobin fire back. Then they start an argument with each other completely ignoring the others in the room.
“It’s my contusion too severe or are they really arguing about who is the most whipped of them?” I asked the rest of the girls. “They are. And I think that answers our question…” Christen commented. “...they are both equally whipped.” Alex completed and we all laughed. “Now in all seriousness. How are you?” Christen asked. “I’m better now. A few broken ribs, a concussion and some bruises. But nothing that won’t be fixed.” “That’s good to hear. It would be a shame if the hero of the day ended up not having a happy ending.” Alex said. “I’m no hero. Just did my job. I lost way more people than I could find.” “Alex is right, you can not think about it. But the way the news are talking about it, and for the amount of journalists on the entry of the hospital, you’re the hero of the day.” Christen told me, agreeing with Alex “Journalists?” “Yeah, we had to stop the car far from here, because there was no space for us to park here.” “That’s crazy.”
I let out a big yawn, which made my ribs hurt and I grimaced. “Well, we still have a lot to talk about and I hope that now Kell will stop hiding you from us. But I believe that this is a sign for us to leave, you need a rest.” Alex said and Chris was about to agree with her, when Kelley must have heard them and stopped her conversation with Tobin to intervene.
“No, you’re not leaving. She still has two more hours before she could think of sleeping. Let’s keep her entertained.” She said this coming to me and sitting beside the bed. “Oh, I have one.” Tobin said with a smirk on her face. “What about we talk about the way Kell tried to cross the ball today during the game but ended up kicking the air and almost fell to the ground?” “Tobin!” Kell yelled, getting red already because of it. So of course my answer couldn’t be other than, “That I wanna hear.” “I can do better, I can show you.”

You’re my home (Kelley O’hara x reader)
This one is a bit long. Sorry!
Kelley’s pov
“Are we meeting her today?” Alex asked me for the fourth time today. Right now it was me, Alex, Allie and Tobin in my hotel room. We were just chilling out before our game today against Mexico. “If you keep asking, you’re not gonna meet her at all.” “Come on Kel, we are excited. We want to meet the person that was able to tame THE Kelley O’hara” Alex responded. “Shut up. It’s not like that.” I defend myself. “Right. So if you’re not tame, why again are you asking her to move in with you?” Tobin asked me, shocking me with this information. I haven’t told anyone about it. “She is what? Worm why haven’t you told me that?” For the look of it, Allie and Alex didn’t know. “I didn’t tell anyone, because I haven’t decided yet. How do you know this Tobin?” “You talk while you sleep, you know that? You were questioning yourself if it was a good idea or not. I think it is.” Tobin answered. “And how do you know if it is a good idea or not?” “Because even though we haven’t met her yet, and we’re still hurt by that by the way, we can see the way you look at her in the pictures and the way you talk about her. You’re in love.” Tobin told me. “But what if she is not ready? What if it is too early?” “Kell, look at me. Each couple has it on time. If you’re feeling that it’s time, she probably thinks the same.” Alex said, looking me in the eyes. “Can we change the subject? I'm getting more nervous and we're supposed to be chilling.”
After that we changed the subject and the girls didn’t talk about it again. But that doesn’t mean it got out of my mind. Y/n is coming to the game today, we’re playing in Washington and I thought it was the perfect opportunity for her to meet my teammates. I told her that she didn’t have to come if she didn’t want to, in case she thought it was too much too soon. She dismissed me and said she would love to go and that we could go to dinner after that. Maybe Alex is right, we’re on the same page.
I was about to get in the locker room when my phone rang. It was Y/n.
“Hey babe! How are you?” “Hi. I’m good. My shift it’s almost over then I’m out. And you? Are you at the stadium already?” “Yeah. Just arrived. Are you still coming right? The girls are crazy to meet you and there is something that I wanted to talk to you about.” “Of course. Is everything okay?” “Yeah, yeah. It’s nothing bad, you don’t have to be nervous. You had a good shift? No, big calls?” “Yeah, I’m safe.” “I like to hear that.” I know, today was a good day. I don’t like to jinx it but…” Suddenly I heard the firefighter alarm in the background. “Shit! Baby I gotta go. Love you!” “Love you too. Be safe.” “Always am.” Dammit. I hate when things like this happen. Just a few more minutes and she would be out of there already. And most importantly, she would be safe. Unfortunately, that’s part of the packet on dating a firefighter.
“Kells?” I was brought out of my thoughts by Christen. “Everything okay?” “Yeah, why do you ask?” “You are looking like you’re about to cry.” “I’m good. I was just on the phone with Y/n and she got called up. I can’t help but get a little worried, but I’m okay now. It’s probably nothing big.” “She is going to be fine. She is smart and strong.” Yeah, Christen is the only one who knows her because the three of us study together at Stanford. “I hope so. Let’s go, we have a game to win.”
The game ended with a win. It was an easy match so I didn’t have much work. The bad thing is that I kept looking at the stands through the whole game and Y/n didn’t show up. What must have happened?
“Kell! Where is Y/n? I tried looking to see if I could find her, but wasn’t lucky.” “Neither was I. Let’s go back to the locker room, I will try to call her.”
We got inside. I called her. Texted her. Nothing. That’s a bad sign. I spent so much time trying to contact her that it was already time to get to the bus and I haven’t showered yet. I would have to do so in the hotel. I haven’t given up, I kept calling her during the whole ride, but nothing. Tobin and I went straight to the hotel room, she could feel that I was worried so she didn’t try to disturb me. I got some clothes so I could take a shower, when someone knocked on the door.
“Opened up. Hurry.” As I was closer I opened it, and it was Christen. “Chris, what the…” She walked past me, ignoring me completely. “Turn on the TV, right NOW.” “Why?” I asked her, but once again she ignored me. “Tobin, do it quick.” “Okay I’m doing. Babe what happened?” Tobin was as confused as me. “I found Y/n.” “What do you mean?” But then I looked at the TV. Burning building collapses and firefighters are working to find survivors. There have been 16 deaths so far, with five children among them. No survivors.
“That’s why she is not answering. Have you seen her there?” I asked Chris, maybe her shift ended before the accident. “Yeah. That’s why I came running. They zoomed on her because she was the captain and was giving orders. Sorry Kell.” “That’s okay. At least I know where she is. I just hope she comes home safe.”
The girls tried to get me out of front of the TV, to take a shower, and eat something, but I couldn’t not while they were still transmitting the whole thing and while she was still out there. I was just hearing what the journalists were saying. “And from what we are seeing the fire is mostly contained, but the rest of the building is still in danger of falling. The firefighters are still working but haven't had much success yet, with the numbers of deaths increasing to 22. We can only imagine how they are feeling. Not so much time from now, we captured a moment of one of the captains in the scene, after finding one more body.”
It was Y/n. The scene was of her walking out of the debris of the falling building and going to the firetruck, she was clearly stressed, when she got to the truck she took off her helmet, through it on the truck and kicked the tired. Then she sat on the stairs and put her head on her hands, showing her exhaustion.
“These are some hard scenes to watch. We can only imagine the stress they are feeling and send support to them, so they can have strength to find the rest of the people who were in the building, giving at least some peace for their families.”
“Don’t worry Kell. She is going to be okay.” “I hope so. I just want her safe.”
“New information. We’re back live and one of the firefighters just asked for silence. It seems that they have heard someone. We just hope they can find it.” The camera focuses on Y/n. She was on the top of the debris, kneeled and saying something. Everything was silent, no one was moving. Then suddenly Y/n stood up and called for help, she began to pick up some rocks and throw them out of the way, creating space. Some other firefighters start to help her, but a huge noise stops them. What was that? “They are in a difficult situation here, the rest of the building that is still up just made some noise and is at risk of falling. They create a small space to the inside of the debris but their equipment can’t seem to pass in there. Getting inside without the equipment can be dangerous.”
“Please don’t be a hero. Please don’t be a hero. Just this once, let it pass. Please, just this once.” I start to say to the TV. The girls looked at me, but I didn’t get my eyes of Y/n. “It seems like Captain Y/l/n just entered in the middle of the debris. She was the same captain we showed minutes ago frustrated for finding one more body. We are sending the best of luck to her this time.”
“Fuck, I told you not to be the hero.” I screamed. “Please, just get out of there fast enough.”
A few minutes pass and they were like torture. But the worst was still to come. A strong noise caught my attention and when I looked at the TV, I saw the rest of the building collapsing on top of the small space Y/n had just entered. The room was silent, I couldn’t hear a thing. The journalists kept talking but I wasn’t understanding a thing. I was in shock. I heard Christen and Alex debating something, I couldn’t understand what it was. What if she is dead? What would I do? We were supposed to be living together. She can’t be dead.
“I’m going there.” I stand up and start searching for my wallet and cellphone. “Kell, what do you mean ‘you’re going there’? Isn’t safe.” Alex said, stopping me from moving. “I don’t care. She is over there under that pile of rocks and bodies, and I’m not about to just stay here watching TV and waiting for someone to tell me she is dead. That she is another one of those bodies they keep finding. Or that...” “Kelley!” Christen yelled at me, making me stop. “She is not dead. Do you wanna go there. Okay, we are going there. But keep the faith. We both know her, she is a fighter. Yes, she can be a dumbass sometimes and enter in places she isn't supposed to be. But she is strong and she will get out of there alive. You have to believe this.” She kept looking into my eyes, waiting for a response.I just started crying. “Chris, I can’t lose her. I just can’t.” “I know. Come on, let’s go.”
The car drive was one of the most excruciating ones. As fast as we were driving, it didn't seem fast enough. We finally arrived at the place. Due to the quantity of police cars, firetrucks and ambulances, we couldn’t get too close. We got to a barricade that was keeping the civilians away. We could see a lot of firefighters and policemen working on the building probably trying to get to Y/n. “Here!” I heard a voice coming from the pile of rocks. When we looked they were pushing a rope from inside the pile and suddenly Y/n appeared attached to the rope with a little child holding on to her and using her helmet. She is safe.
Everyone starts clapping and celebrating. The firefighter tried to get the child from Y/n, but she wasn’t letting go. So they brought both of them to a nearby ambulance, a social worker was able to get the kid and I could finally see Y/n’s face. She had a big cut above her left eyebrow, another one on her jaw and there was a big stain of blood on her pants, but I couldn’t see where the other cut was. She was sitting in the ambulance when she looked at the barricade and saw me. She called one of the police that was nearby and pointed at me. He immediately came in my direction and asked me to follow him, taking me to where Y/n was.
“Your idiot. You scare the crap out of me.” “Hi to you too babe.” I got to her and kissed her forehead, but she hissed in pain so I pulled back. “Don’t you ever scare me that way again. I thought I was gonna lose you.” “Never. You’re stuck with me Kelley O’hara. How was the game?” “We are not talking about the game, while you are here bleeding. They are not checking on you?” “I’m okay babe. You came here alone?” “No, Chris, Alex and Tobin came with me.” “Can I still meet them?” “Babe, you’re bleeding. You need to…” She kissed me. “I’m okay. Let’s meet them… Wait. What did you want to tell me earlier?” “Forget it.” “No, tell me.” “Fine… You can say no, but what do you think of moving in with me?” “I would love to.” “Really?” “Of course. You’re my safeplace Kell. You’re my home.”

Big, Big Plans

Kristie’s pov
“Kristie, what's wrong?” Lynn’s voice got me out of my thoughts. “What do you mean? Nothing is wrong. I’m okay.” “Yeah, so why were you looking at the screen for the last 30 minutes?” She asked me. “I’m watching TV.” Emily laughed and said. “Right. Kristie, the TV is turned off.” I looked at the screen and it was in fact turned off. “Nothing is wrong guys, I just…” I sigh.
I was telling the truth, nothing is actually wrong, I was just missing Y/n. It’s been 4 months since I last saw her, of course we facetime every day, but it’s not the same as hugging or kissing her.
“Come on Kris, you can tell us. If we can not help, we can at least try to make it better.” Abby told me. “It’s just stupid guys. You can let it go.” “I know what can help. Let 's call Y/n.” Emily said. I had actually just talked with Y/n and the last thing she told me was that she was not going to be able to come to our game and neither to the family dinner after that. The girls noticed that I didn’t perk up on the thought of calling Y/n and understand where the problem was.
“You guys fought?” Rose asked. “NO, not at all. We are great. Actually better than that. It’s just... I miss her.” “She is not coming to the game?” Abby asked. “No. She has some interviews she has to do, and won’t get here on time.” “Well, at least we are playing close to your hometown. So your family is coming, right?” Emily asked, trying to help in some way. “Yeah, they are. And we are going to have dinner at my parents house after the game. Sam and Pat are coming as well.” “It’s going to be fine Kristie. We know you would like for her to be here, but it’s just one dinner. You have had a lot of that in the last three years you've been together.” “Yeah, it’s more than that. It is our anniversary tomorrow. I was anxious for that.” They stayed silent after this new information. “But you’re right. It’s going to be fine. Just a few more days. I’m going to bed now, we have a game to win tomorrow.”
-----
It’s game day. So I don’t have to tell you how the day went. Each player has their own routine, but the important thing is what happens in the game. And we won. It was an easy win, and I got to start the game. My parents were there and were really happy to have their both daughters at home at the same time.
We were now at my parent’s house. Dad was doing a barbecue and we were listening to some music and chatting, when Y/n called me.
“Hi babe!” “Happy anniversary Kris! How are you?” “Would be better with you here. My feets are a little sore.” “Oh, so that’s what I’m good for? You know I would love to be there. But we will be together soon.” “I know. I’m waiting for that. Why didn’t you call me on facetime? I wanna see your face.” “Sorry babe. I’m going to start an interview now, I don’t have enough time. Actually, I just called you now to tell you that I just sent you one of my presents. I hope you like it. I gotta go now. Love you!” “Love you too. Bye”
I was a little sad that I couldn’t talk more with her. But I appreciate what I can get. I turned off the phone and went back outside. My mom asked me. “It was Y/n?” “Yes, she said she just sent me my birthday present. Do you have anything?” “No. Are you sure she sent it here?” I was about to answer her when my phone went off. She has just sent me a text with an audio attached to it. The text said.
I love you more than anything in the world. Sorry, for not being there today. This is the first part of my present. Please, hear it out loud. Ask Sam to help you.
“Sam! What does Y/n mean by ‘ask Sam to help you’?” “Oh! She sent it? Here I got the speaker ready.” She connected my phone to the speaker and told me. “Okay, her orders are: First, sit here.” She posiciones me with my back to the door. “Done. Second, connect the phone to the speaker. Done. And third, put play. Okay, are you ready?” Sam asked this looking at me. “Yeah?” And with that the audio started.
Hi Babe! So I’ve been working on a song for you for a while now. And I just got it back today. It’s a little different from what I usually do, but I really hope your answer is positive about this one. I asked Sam to film your reaction for me, because I wanna be able to see your reaction while listening to it for the first time. Love you! Here we go.
Just look at her sitting there
Sweatpants, t-shirt, and a comfy chair, hm
Her hair in a bun, one hand on a mug
And the other one's putting chapstick
To a George Strait vinyl, that yes-or-no line'll
Get her close but I don't think she can understand
Just how far I've been letting my heart fall
Or what's in my head
She don't know I got some big, big plans
Build a little house out on some hand-me-down land
Find a little island where we'd go to get tanned
Bet we'd take our kids down there one day
And I know she wouldn't mind if I
Did a little something like find a flight
Overnight to paradise and leave tonight
And I'ma put a diamond on her hand
My eyes were tearing at this point. I don’t believe she was doing this to me. How could she make me a song like this and not be here?
She don't know I got some big, big plans
(She don't know, well she don't know)
She don't know I got some big, big plans
(She don't know, well she don't know)
She don't know, I already bought a ring
Hid it in the bottom left drawer right beside the sink
A shiny emerald diamond on a brand-new band
Asked her mama for permission and her daddy for her hand
I look at my parents. They know? No, she can’t be doing what I think she is doing and not be here.
I got some big, big plans
Build a little house out on some hand-me-down land
Find a little island where we'd go to get tanned
Bet we'd take our kids down there one day
I was so shocked by what was happening that I didn't notice that everyone was looking behind me. But as soon as I noticed their eyes, I turned around and Y/n was there. She has a guilty face with a smirk on her face. I glared at her.
And I know she wouldn't mind if I
Did a little something like find a flight
She came close to me and I couldn’t contain myself and hug her. She hugged me back, kissed the side of my head and whispered to me. “I love you”. I couldn’t say anything back, so I just stayed in her embrace.
Overnight to paradise and leave tonight
And I'ma put a diamond on her hand
She don't know I got some big, big plans
(She don't know, well she don't know)
She don't know I got some big, big plans
(She don't know, well she don't know)
Well here I go
'Cause right now we're back in her hometown
And I'm down on one knee
I guess she finally figured out
I'm gonna ask her to marry me
As soon as I heard these words I started to cry. I couldn’t believe this was happening.
I got some big, big plans
Build a little house out on some hand-me-down land
Find a2 little island where we'd go to get tanned
Bet we'd take our kids down there one day
She pushed me back, gave me a quick peck, got my hand and took me to the yard.
And I know she wouldn't mind if I
Did a little something like find a flight
Overnight to paradise and leave tonight
And I'ma put a diamond on her hand
As the final verses were being played she knelt down, took a big breath and started to say.
“Kristie, I have no idea how I got the luck to get to know you, or how that shy girl got to be best friend with that outgoing neighbor, or even how this competitive and clumsy person got to date you. All I know is that I love each moment I get to pass by your side, I love your laugh, your voice, your kiss, your eyes. I love the way you got so tired after a game that all you want is to cuddle with me and watch a movie, even though you know that you’re gonna sleep before the middle. I love how you support me in every job or project I have, even if it means I got to stay away from you for months. But most of all, I love YOU. I love everything about you. So, Kristie Anne Mewis, will you marry me?”
I looked at her and could see how nervous she was. So I nodded my head and pulled her back to me so I could kiss her. She kissed me back. After a few seconds she separated from me but kept her hands on my waist. “Is that a yes?” “Do you even ask? Of course it’s a yes. A million times yes.” She put the ring on my hand and kissed me again, longer this time. Until we heard my mom behind us. “Well, can we congratulate the newly engaged couple?” “Of course, sorry Mel.” Y/n said and mom came to us and gave us a hug. And then my dad, Sam and Pat were hugging us as well. We talked for a while and when the excitement decreased a little, everyone went back to the table for dinner, but Y/n held me in her arms again, looked me in my eyes and said. “I know you don’t like to plan things, but I gotta warn you I have some big plans for us, and I’ll show you everyday how much I love you.”

Friends don’t (Kristie Mewis x reader)

Kristie pov
“What are we doing tomorrow?” My sister asked, looking at me “I have plans, YOU I don’t know.” “What do you mean? We’re supposed to be doing things together.” “Said who?” “Sam is right, it’s team bond time.” Lynn said. “No, tomorrow it's a day off, we are free to do whatever.” I corrected her. “Come on Kristie, what are you gonna do that we can’t join you?” Rose asked, “You wish you knew.”
“Guys, do you know that Y/n is doing a show here tomorrow?” Emily interrupted our conversation. “What?” Rose, Abby and Lynn all asked surprised by that. Y/n is a singer that became a huge success lately, not only here in the US but worldwide as well. Recently her songs have been playing a lot in our locker room, so she became the team favorite. Of course I’m not complaining. Why? Okay, so backstory, she is my childhood best friend and I may or may not have a little crush on her.
While the girls gushed about ways to get a ticket for the show. Sam was looking at me with a smirk on her face. I managed to hold my smile, but failed to contain the blush spreading through my cheeks. She knew it.
“So Kristie, mind telling us where are you going tomorrow?” “Never mind Sam, we have other plans now.” One of the girls said, not caring about what Sam was saying. I was sending daggers her way, but she didn’t seem to mind. “Oh, but I think you would like to know. Come on Kris, tell us!” All the girls stopped talking and now their attention was on me. I stayed quiet, waiting for them to give up, but that didn’t work. “Fine, I’m going to Y/n’s show.” “You what?” They started talking all together so I couldn’t even understand what they were saying, but it was something on the lines of “How do you get tickets?” “And you didn’t mind inviting us?” “Do you have extra tickets?”
“Okay, okay, stop! I can see if I can get extra tickets, but I don’t promise anything.”
So here we are, on Y/n’ show, very close to the stage. Of course Y/n would give me extra tickets, especially after I told her the tickets were for some of my national team teammates. The girls were euphoric. As we waited for the show to begin Sam nudged me and whispered to me.
“So, happy to see Y/n?” “Yeah… why that face?” “Nothing, I just can’t wait to see you drooling for her for an hour straight.” “I do not drool over her.” “Yeah, right. I’m your sister Kris, you can’t hide your crush from me.” “She is my friend, that’s all.” “But you wish she was more.” “Doesn’t matter, and besides she doesn’t see me like that.” “Right. God, you are so blind.” “Shut up, the show is about to begin.”
Y/n pov
“So I heard that Kristie is coming to the show today.” Laura, the guitarist of the band and one of my closest friends, said by my side, while we waited for the time to start the show. That instantly brought a smile to my face. “Yeah, she came. She brought some friends and Sam came as well.” “So you know what that means right?” “That I’m not hanging with the band after the show?” “Well, that as well. You always ditch us for your girlfriend.” “She is not my girlfriend.” “Because you’re an idiot. But I wasn’t talking about that.” “No? So I have no idea." “That means that we are playing THE song tonight.” “What son- No! No way! We are not playing it.” “Yes, we are.” “No, we are not.” “Come on Y/n, it’s your chance.” “What if this ruins our friendship?” “First of all, you already passed the friendship line a long time ago. Second, you’ll never know if you don’t try.” “Maybe, another time. I don’t think that today is a good day and…” “Nope. I wasn’t asking you, I was only informing you.” “I thought that I was the singer.” “Yeah, but we are playing it, so if you don’t sing you will look like a fool. Your choice.”
She didn't even give me the chance to reply. She went to the side of the rest of the band and I was left here anxious. What if she hated it? Too late for that, the show is about to begin. “Let’s go!”
Kristie pov
The show was being amazing, Y/n sang all her best songs and me and the girls sang to every single one of them. Y/n even make sure to tell everyone that some of the USWNT girls were here tonight, congratulating us on the Olympics. It was almost at the end of the show, when she announced that she was going to sing a new song.
“So everyone, thank you all for coming today. Really the show was amazing because of you all. Before we go and say our goodbyes, I would like to sing one more song, this one is new. The band were the only ones to ever heard it before. It’s a personal one and … well the song said it all, I hope you like it..” she glanced at me “especially you.” She was really nervous, I had never seen her like that on a show before. The song began (https://youtu.be/XGmJMvnDZEg?list=RDXGmJMvnDZEg).
‘They don't cancel other plans
Have conversations with nothing but their eyes
They don't hear each other's names and forget to concentrate
Hits a nerve and lights you up like dynamite
Friends don't call you in the middle of the night
Couldn't even tell you why
They just felt like saying: Hi
Friends don't stand around, playing with their keys
Finding reasons not to leave
Trying to hide the chemistry
Drive a little too slow, take the long way home
Get a little too close
We do, but friends don't
She was singing to everyone, the fans were all screaming. But as every word came out of her mouth, a memory would come flashing in my mind. And for some reason she was avoiding looking my way.
They don't almost say: I love you
When they're downtown somewhere, just a little drunk
They don't talk about the future and put each other in it
And get chills with every accidental touch
Friends don't call you in the middle of the night
Couldn't even tell you why
They just felt like saying: Hi
Friends don't stand around, playing with their keys
Finding reasons not to leave
Trying to hide the chemistry
Drive a little too slow, take the long way home
Get a little too close
We do, but friends don't
When the chorus ended and the small guitar solo began, she closed her eyes, took a breath and when she was about to start singing again, she opened her eyes looking directed at me.
I keep telling myself this might be nothing
But one look in your eyes and, God, there's something
You can lie to me and say you don't
But I know you do, and I love you too
Friends don't call you in the middle of the night
Couldn't even tell you why
They just felt like saying: Hi
Friends don't stand around, playing with their keys
Finding reasons not to leave
Trying to hide the chemistry
Drive a little too slow, take the long way home
Get a little too close
We do, but friends don't
Uh, uh, uh
Friends don't
The song ended. She held her gaze for a few more seconds but as the fans kept screaming for her she broke it and addressed them. “Thank you everyone! I really hope you like it. Good evening and hope to see you in another time. Goodbye!” She left without looking back at me. What the hell just happened?
I was still in shock with what had just happened when Emily slapped me. “What the hell Sonny?” “Answer the man!” When I looked on my side there was Jeff, Y/n’s bodyguard. “Hi Miss Mewis. Miss Y/l/n wanted to know if you would like to go meet her in her dressing room. She makes sure for me to emphasize that only if you are comfortable going.” I looked at Sam and she was nodding her head with a grin on her face. But I didn't even have the chance to answer him because the girls did. “Of course! Y/n wants to meet us. That is even a question to ask?” Jeff didn’t move, still waiting for my response. I nodded at him and he took us backstage.
Y/n pov
“Y/n, stop moving around the room, if you don’t I’m going to throw up.” Jordan, the drummer, told me. “Sorry I can’t control myself. What if she hated it and is not coming here? What if I destroyed our friendship? Guys, I can’t lose h-” “Y/n!” Laura stopped me by holding my shoulders. “Stop worrying, she is coming back here I know. And when she gets here you will talk to her and everything is going to be alright.” “But…” Before I could finish my sentence Jeff came back with Kristie and the rest of the girls. I couldn’t stop looking at her. “Hey!”
“Oh my god it’s them! Y/n and the Eleanors!” Emily Sonnett yeled entering the room. “Hi, and you must be Emily Sonnett. And you are Abby Dahlkemper, Lynn Williams and Rose Lavelle. I hope I’m right.” “Yes, you’re.” Abby answered me. “ I’m a fan of you all.” “Oh my god, imagine telling the rest of the team we met you. They are going to be so jealous.”
I laughed at them, and as they moved to say hi to the rest of the band I went to the Mewis sisters. “Hey Sammy.” She hugged me. “Long time no see Y/n. Great show out there. Especially the end. Great song.” I blushed. “Thanks.” I looked at Kristie. “Hey Kris!” “Hi!” She was tense. “Can I at least get a hug?” She relaxed a little with that and gave me a hug.
“Wait! Do you know each other?” I broke the hug and looked for the person who said it, it was Sonnett. “Yeah, I’m from Hanson as well.” I answered. “Who do you think gave Kristie the tickets?” Sam told them. They were all surprised. “So girls, what do you think of getting a look at the stage? The view it’s way cooler.” Laura intervened. I looked at her and thanked her. Rose and Sonnett began to protest but Sam and Laura helped by pushing them out of the room.
It was only me and Kristie, it was now or never. “So…” And as I was about to speak we heard the girls voice out of the room “What! Kristie is ‘THE FRIEND’?” I laughed and looked at her blue eyes. I love those eyes so much, I don’t know what I would do if this doesn’t work. Her voice broke me from my trance. “So, am I THE friend?” “Maybe?” “Maybe?” I sigh, come on Y/n do it right. This is your chance. “Of course you are. I’m sorry if I ruined everything for you, but I couldn’t just hold it anymore. I fell in love with you Kris. You’re the best thing to ever happen to me, and I can't lose you.”
She stayed silent. Not a word. She was just looking at me and I was beginning to think that I scrolled it all. But then… “I agree with you.” She said “What?” “We do a lot of things that friends don’t.” She came closer to me and held both my hands. My heart was beating so fast that I couldn’t think straight anymore. “We do. Don’t we?” “Yeah. I want to do one more thing that friends don’t.” “And what is it?” She didn’t answer me, instead she put her hand on the back of my neck and leaned in. The next thing I know we were kissing. I waited so long to feel this lips on mine, and now that I was feeling it, it was better than what I could ever imagine. Eventually we broke apart. Smiles on both of our faces.
“I don’t think we are friends anymore. Y/n will you be my girlfriend?” “You don’t even need to ask. Come here.” We kissed again. With more passion than before, if that was even possible.
“So do you want to go have a look at the stage with your friends?” “No, I like the view in front of me better.” “Me too.”

Mother’s day surprise
Part three of “It’s complicated... (Part 1)” and “Thanks for giving us a chance (Part 2)

“Hey Y/n/n, so how is camp?” Y/n was currently at the U15 girl’s soccer camp. Gotta confess I’m really proud of her, even though she is younger than most of the girls she is getting her space on the team. “It’s hard, but also super cool. I already made a lot of friends.” “That’s great Cupcake, we miss you.” Christen told her “I miss you both too. It’s a bummer that I’m not gonna be able to spend mother’s day with you tomorrow.” “I know, unfortunately this happens a lot in sports. But we are so proud of you and we will be using our ‘Stone’ jerseys while we watch the game tomorrow.”
“Actually, this reminds me of something I want to talk to you both about.” “What?” “So, I’m doing something tomorrow and I don’t know if you are going to be okay with it.” “What do you mean Y/n? What are you doing?” “I can’t tell, but you will find out tomorrow.” “You’re okay?” Christen asked, a little preoccupied. “Yeah, it's nothing bad. And I hope you like it, but it’s kind of going to confirm things, if they still have any doubts.” “Confirm thing? What are you talking about?” I was now confused. “ You will see tomorrow. I gotta go now, but I love you and I will call you after the game.”
“What do you think she means by that?” I asked Chris. “No idea, guess we’ll have to wait to find out. Come on let’s go to bed”
--
I can’t believe how much time has passed. Looks like yesterday Christen was knocking at our door and meeting her for the first time, and now here we are, married, retired and watching Y/n/n playing a game on the tv for the youth national team.
“What it’s in this pretty little head of yours?” Chris asked me. Today is Mother’s day and me and Chris were cuddling on the couch waiting for Y/n’s game to start. “I was just thinking about how everything passed so fast, how much things have changed for the better.” “Oh, tell me about it. A few years back when people asked you about Y/n all you could said was ‘It’s complicated’ and now here you are celebrating mother’s day with her. Do you remember the first time she called you mom?” “She thought a lot about it. Remember the story my mom told me about the night she went to sleep at her house?”
Flashback
“Grandma?! Can I ask you a question?” “Of course honey. What is it?” Y/n was with a little frown on her face. “Can someone have two moms?” “Oh… of course. Some people have a mom and a dad, but others can have two moms or two dads.” Y/n sigh not satisfied with the answer “I know, but that was not what I meant.” “That was not what you meant? So what was it?” Y/n didn’t answer right away, contemplating on what to say. “Never mind, it is not important.” “Of course it is, if it is bothering you, you can ask.” “What you said is like when two people love each other, but what if they don’t? Can a person still have two moms, even if they are not a couple?” “You mean if they get divorce?” Y/n pout frustrated that she was not being understood. “Noo, they were never a couple.” “Sorry honey, but I don’t understand what you mean.” “Forget it, it doesn't matter.” “Y/n/n…” Y/n was going back to her room, giving up on trying to make her grandma understand her doubt, when Grandpa intervened. “Yes they can.” “What?!” “A kid can have two moms, even if they are not a couple.” “Really?” She had wide eyes, hopeful for her grandpa's answers. “Yeah, when I was a kid, I had a friend that had a really nice mom, but one day his mom got sick and went to heaven. But later he got adopted…” “Just like me and Toby?” “Yes, just like you and Toby. And then got a new mom.” Y/n was carefully listening to every word he said. “But even if he got a new mom, the first one still was his mom?” “Of course, they both were.” “Okay... And he called her mom?” “He did. Until today he does.” “Uhumm…” She said thinking about his answer. “And his first mom didn’t get mad?” “No, because all she wanted is for him to be loved and she knew that this is what he was getting.” She showed her biggest smile ever and said. “Thanks grandpa!!” “That’s all?” “Yeah, I think I’m going to sleep now. Goodnight!!” And with that she left.
Flashback ends
“Yeah, and you got so emotional when she called you mom after we came back from camp.” Christen said, kissing me on the cheek.
Flashback
“Christen!!” Y/n came running in our direction and jumped on Christen’s arms. “Hi cupcake!! I miss you!” “I miss you too, this much!” She opened her arms as wide as she could. “Oh my god, that is too much. What are we gonna do about it?” “Sleepover!!” “Yeah, I think that is a good idea.” “Hi to you too Y/n/n. Good to know that I’ve been missed.” I poked Y/n’s belly. “Someone is jealous.” Christen whispered. “Of course, I give her food, home and love everyday and I don’t even get a hug.” “Silly Toby, I missed you too.” Y/n moved from Chris's arms to mine’s. “Good to know, I missed you too kid. Now I’ll think about this sleepover.” “Oh come on Heath, you know you want that too.” Chris said, wrapping her arms around my waist. “Pretty please?!” Y/n looked at me with a pleading face. “Oh, how can I say no to that face?” “Yes!! Sleepover!”
When at home, we ate dinner and now it was bedtime for Y/n.
“I think it’s time for someone to go to bed.” “No, I’m still awake.” “Almost, and I already let you pass 1 hour of your bedtime. Come on, give Chis a kiss and let's go.” “Fine, goodnight Chris.” She hugged Chris. “Goodnight cupcake.” “Come on. To bed we go.” I caught her and lifted her up across the room.
I put her in bed and covered her. “You’re good? Need anything?” “All good! You know that I missed you too, right? I was just happy to see Chris.” “I know, I was just messing. I love you.” I said, giving her a kiss on the head. “Love you too, with all my heart.” “Okay, if you need anything you know where to find me. Goodnight my little dreamer.” “Goodnight mom!”
What? I heard that right? She just called me… No, it can’t be. But, I heard it. I’m not dreaming.
“Y/n/n?”
She didn’t respond, she was already sleeping. Oh, no! What do I do now? I started my way back to the living room and when I noticed I was crying.
“Tobin? What is wrong? Why are you crying?” I sit by her side on the couch. “She called me mom.” “She what?” “She just called me mom. Like out of nothing. I told her goodnight and then she answered ‘goodnight mom.’” “Oh, this is a big step. And are we happy?” “I… I…” I left a big sigh. “Yeah, I think so. I mean it is not wrong right?” “Why would it be wrong?” “I mean, Jess is her real mom. But it's okay, right? I mean she is my daughter as well, I adopted her. It’s okay for me to feel good about it.” Christen hugged me and left a kiss on my forehead “Of course it is Tobin. Just because she called you mom, doesn’t mean she forgot Jess.” “It feels so good.” “And what did you answer?” “Nothing, I froze.” “Oh, Tobin…” “But what if she didn’t mean it? What if she forgets about it tomorrow?” “Okay, first, calm down. Be happy about it, enjoy the moment.” “Yeah.” I take big breaths. “Second, just talk to her tomorrow, ask if she remembers. If she does good, but if she doesn’t, give her time, maybe it's just something she hasn’t thought about yet. But if she said it now, then she will probably say it again.” “You’re right! But I hope she remembers.” “Me too, I love when you have this smile on your face. You deserve it baby.” She gives me a peck. “Oh my god, she called me mom!!” “She did!!”
Flashback ends
“You were so nervous the next day, but everything ended up alright. Even though you cried for a week after that.” Christen mocked me. “I know, but you are one to talk about. Do you remember the day she asked you to be her mom?”
Flashback
We were getting ice cream, Chris and Y/n were sitting at the bench in the park, waiting for me.
“Chris, will you and Toby get married?” “Oh, yeah, one day. But we haven’t decided on when.” “And when you marry her, will you be my mom as well?” “Your mom?” “Yeah.” “Well, we are gonna have to see what Tobin thinks of that. She is your mom, right?” “Right.” Christen was about to ask her ‘why the question’ when Tobin came back with the ice creams. “Here are your ice creams, one of chocolate and vanilla and another of strawberry.”
It was night and we were in the living room about to watch a movie. Chris was taking a shower and me and Y/n were waiting for her. “So what movie are we gonna watch tonight?” Y/n said without thinking. “Shrek?” “Shrek sounds good. Let’s wait for Chris to finish showering and then we decide. Okay?” “Yeah. Mom, can I ask you a question?” “Of course.” “When you marry Chris, will she be my mom as well?” Oh, I didn’t see that coming. “Well, we are gonna have to ask Chris and see what she thinks about it. It is something you would like?” But before she could answer Chris came back. “Okay, I’m ready. Have you both chosen the movie already?” “We picked Shrek. Do you like it?” “Of course. Great choice.”
After a while I noticed Y/n was a little quieter than normal. Chris noticed as well, because she texted me.
C: It’s just me or Y/n/n is not watching the movie?
T: Yeah, she’s definitely not.
C: What’s wrong?
T: Don’t know, she was fine moments before we started.
*Phones ring*
“Oh, it’s my dad. Hi dad.” “Hi babe. How are you?” “I’m good. I’m with Tobin and Y/n/n watching a movie.” “Oh, hi Tobin.” I appeared on the screen. “Hi Cody.” “And where is my troublemaker? Is she there?” “Yes, I’m here grand… Cody.” “Oh, I can see you. Are you having fun?” “Yes, we ate pizza with ice cream today!” “Uhum, that's good. Chocolate or vanilla?” “Both.” “And there is even a question Cody. These are the best.” Chriten's mom appeared on the screen. “Hi gran.. hi Stacy!!” “Hi honey!! I miss you, when will we be seeing you again?” “Don’t know. Mom?” “We are going there for Chris’s birthday, remember? Right after Christmas.” “But that is a long time.” “Don’t worry, it will pass really fast and when you see, it will be Christmas already.” “Okay.”
“Hey Dreamer, why don’t we go brush our teeth while Chris talks to her parents? Then we can finish watching the movie and if you sleep here I can take you to bed.” “Fine, bye Cody and Stacy!” “By Y/n/n.”
We leave the room and Chris keeps talking with her parents.
“Hi mom!” “Hi. Babe, why is Y/n/n calling us by our names? Of course she can call us however she wants, but she always calls us grandpa and grandma.” “I don’t know mom, she was a little off during the movie, we will try to see what’s happening. Did you call for something special?” “No, just wanted to see how you were doing. You said you were taking Y/n/n to the aquarium today, how did it go?” “She loved it, we took the whole afternoon there. She didn’t want to leave. Especially the sharks, she got fascinated. We have to promise her ice cream for her to leave the place.” “She loves ice cream.” “She does, but she just wants chocolate with vanilla. Just like you taught her.” “I just show her the good stuff.” “Of course you do. Mom and Dad, I call you tomorrow okay? We are watching a movie now and then we are going to sleep, it was a big day.” “That’s okay honey, we will talk tomorrow. Love you.” “Love you too.”
Just as Christen turned off the call, me and Y/n came back.
“And we are back.” I said sitting on the couch along with Y/n “Brushed teeth?” Christen asked. “Yes.” “Okay, can we watch the rest of the movie now?” I was about to give it a play when Y/n answered. “I don’t think I want to.” “Oh, and why not?” I asked. “I just want to go to sleep.” “But you were so excited to watch the movie, what happened?” Christen asked. “Nothing, I just changed my mind.” “Okay then, we can go to bed.” “Good, goodnight Christen!!” Y/n said while hugging Christen. “Goodnight?!” Chris asked a little confused. “Okay, wait a minute. What’s wrong?” I asked her. “Nothing.” “Yeah? So why did you call Chris by her name, and so did Cody and Stacy?” “Because it is their names. You call them like this.” “But you know you don’t have to, right sweety? You always called them grandpa and grandma.” Christen told her. “But they are not my grandparents. So I can’t call them that.” “Y/n this is about the question you asked me before the movie?” I asked her. It’s the only cause I could think of. “What question?” Christen asked. “We haven’t talked about it yet.” “But I already asked her as well. And as you said no, then they can’t be my grandparents.” “You said ‘no’?” I asked Christen. “I don’t know what this is about.” “About what will happen after we get married?” “Oh, so she also talked to you about it.” “She did. And you said no? I’m not mad, I just want to know.” “Of course not, I didn’t say no. Did you?” “No, I didn’t. Y/n/n who said no?” “You both did. Every time I ask something and the adults don’t want to do it, they say to ask for another person, and that is what you both did. You said we have to ask Chris, and you said we have to ask mom. So it means that you don’t want to but don’t want to say it to me.” “Cupcake, that 's not what that means.” Christen tells her. “Yeah, all that means is that we have to talk to each other, see if everyone is comfortable with that.” “So… we are talking.” Y/n said and we laughed at her spontaneity. “Yes we are…” “I wouldn’t mind, quite the opposite I would love to. But it is your decision.” I said looking at Christen. “I would like that too. That would be something that you want? Do you want me to be your mom as well?” Christen asked Y/n. “Yeah!! It will be really cool.” “Then the answer is yes, I will be your other mom.” “Cool! And when are you getting married?” “Are you in a hurry?” We said, laughing. “Yeah, because I really want to call you mom.” “Well Cupcake, me and Tobin talked and we will wait a little for that, because we want to focus on the preparation for the world cup, and then for the world cup itself.” “But the world cup is in a really long time.” “I know, but we want to do everything calmly.
But if your mom is okay with that, and if you really want to. You can call me however you want, whenever you want, you don’t have to wait until we get married to do it.” “Really?” “Yes.” “Mom?” “You heard the boss.” “Thank you!! I love you mom Chris!!”
Flashback ends
“I know, I cried a lot when we went to sleep that night.” “I love you so much and I love our little family.” “I love you both too.” We share a kiss. Things were about to heat up, when we heard the girls entering on the field, the girls were all lined up to start the game.
‘And for today’s game the girls from the US are honoring their mothers' figures as a way to celebrate mother’s day. They put on their back the name of the woman that means so much to them. As number #1…’
“Do you think that this is what she was talking about?” I asked. “Probably. But whose name she chose?”
‘As number #7 we have Y/n Stone that put a name honoring both of her mothers…’ Y/n turned around and instantaneously a smile spread on our faces.
“Oh my god. She chose us both.” “Now I understand what she meant about confirming.”
There she was, with that beautiful smile on her face, proudly wearing her jersey with ‘PREATH’ writing on her back. “I love our daughter. Happy mother’s day to us.” I kissed her. “Happy mother’s day.”

How to get out of trouble? (Emily Sonnett x reader)
Me, Y/n and Linds were on our way to practice at Providence Park. We always go together, well Lindsey comes with us, me and y/n already live together. We were parked outside the coffee shop, Y/n went inside to get our orders. I was in the driver seat and Linds was at the back.
“You two look better now, she is not mad anymore? It Has been like two days right?” Lindsey asked, noticing that the dynamics between me and Y/n were better again. “Yeah, we are better. But still not 100%.” “So, you never told me the full story, all of that was just because you haven’t cleaned the house? I didn’t picture her being the kind of person that got mad for things like this.” “Well…” I looked through the window and Y/n was coming back to the car, so I stopped the conversation. “Wait a minute.”
Y/n put her hand through the opened window and said. “I forgot my wallet. Be right back.”
As soon as she goes away, Linds speaks. “So…?” I let out a big sigh. “My mom got to my house and Y/N was getting the clothes out of the dryer. My meeting with the Thorns got late, and while they waited for me for lunch, mom decided to help her. So they got the clothes and went to put it in our room and that was the problem.” Lindsey looked at me with a confused face. “I don’t get it, Sonnett?” “Let's just say that we had some fun the night before.” “Oh.” The confused face was now replaced by a smirk. “Yeah, and I got tired so I said that I would clean everything in the morning. But I kind of forgot.” “You kind of forgot?” “Yeah, it’s not like I did on purpose. So anyway, I left the strapon on the floor, next to my side of the bed, so Y/N didn’t see it. And it happened that my mom was the one who found it.” “Oh my god!” Lindsey yelled and started laughing at me. “If I was your girlfriend I would have killed you.” “Oh believe it, I just didn’t sleep on the couch that night because my mom slept over, otherwise I would probably have a hard back pain for the next two days.” She was still laughing. “Sonnett I can’t believe you did that, this is a beginner's mistake.” “How was I supposed to know that my mom was going to enter my bedroom? She doesn't even live here. Shut up, she is coming back.”
Y/n entered the car and gave us our orders. “Here 's your orders.” “Thanks babe.”
I pecked her and was about to start the car, when I noticed Y/N looking different at me and then to Lindsey. “What?” I asked. “You know, don't you? Emily told you.” Y/n asked looking at Linds, who even though wasn’t laughing anymore, was clear in her face that she had been. “Do you think I would do that?” I intervened, pretending I was shocked. She just looked at me. “I know you would.” “Sorry.”
I started the car and drove our way to the stadium. “Whatever. Let’s go to practice. Now at least you have someone to complain to, until the end of the month.” “Wait, you were kidding right? About not doing it anymore?” “Of course not.” Lindsey started laughing again and spoke. “Oh, you’re so screwed Dassani.” I kept arguing trying to get rid of this punishment. “But that’s not fair, I didn't do it on purpose. And beside this way you’re getting punished as well for something I did. That’s not good.” “Babe, that was not the first time you forgot. Remember that time with Toby and that other time with Linds, after the semi-final?” I rolled my eyes and Linds exclaimed. “Oh my god, that’s why I couldn’t get in your room and you made Dassani go get the blankets.” Y/N nodded. “I would have killed to see Tobs face if she had seen it, you’re her little sister. This is priceless, sorry Sonny but you deserved it.”
Y/n looked at my devastated face. We arrived at Providence Park and I was parking the car. Y/n put her hand at the back of my neck and said. “And by the way babe, I said YOU wouldn’t have fun with it, I haven’t said anything about me.” She gave me a kiss on the cheek. “No! You can’t do that.”
“Look, we arrived.” Y/N completely ignored me and got out of the car. I looked at Linds with a worried look. “Sorry girl, but you put yourself into this, you’re the only one who can get out.” She patted my shoulder and got out. Fuck!
...
It’s been a few days since the incident with my mom, and since then me and Y/n haven’t had sex. I’m having trouble with convincing her out of this punishment idea, one month is too much. I was out with Linds right now getting coffee.
“Sonnett, how are you doing about you know what?” “Horrible?! Frustrated. Annoyed. Randy. Want me to keep going?” “Sorry. How many days have been?” “10 days, actually 12 if you count while my mom was here. Stop laughing.” I hit Lindsey’s arm because she was laughing at my situation. “I can’t take it. You did it yourself.” “I know. The first five days were easy because we had an away game, so I was tired. But this week was so hard. Would it be easier if she was ignoring me or if she was in another place, at least I wouldn't keep being tempted with her sleeping by my side.” “She's mad?” “Not mad, just... ashamed and annoyed with what has happened. It was really bad, I can’t even imagine what I would have done if it was me. And I wasn’t even there to help, what was worse. But I have a plan in mind, and I think it's gonna work.” “What are you going to do? Humiliate yourself so you could call it even?” “Of course not, this would only make it worse, then she would get mad. I’m planning dinner, then movie night, a proper apology with a spoil bag and a massage.” “Spoil bag?” “Yeah, that’s what I called the kit I do for her when she is on her period. I put her favorite treats in it, and some healthy things to help with cramps or to stay hydrated.” “She is in her period as well?” “Nope, but the kit also works when I’m in trouble.” “ Good luck with that Dassani.” “‘Thanks, I will need it.”
…
I was finishing dinner when I heard the door of the apartament closing and Y/n calling. “Babe?” I appeared in her view. “Hey, welcome.” I hugged her and gave her a kiss. “What is this smell? I thought we were eating pizza.” “Nope, I made dinner tonight. Your favorite.” “Oh!! Love it.” “Come here, have a seat while I bring the food.”
I pulled the chair for her and went to grab dinner. I put the food on our plates and sat beside her. “So, how was your day?” “Do you remember that I had spent half of it with you right?” “Yeah, but then you have a meeting that I don’t participate in. How it went?” “Good…”
We finished eating and went to watch a movie on the couch. We were half way through the movie, she was cuddling in my arms and we were watching “The Shallows”. I know it is not a romantic one and is neither my type of movie, but it is one of her favorite ones so…
“You know what would be good right now? M&M’s, the normal ones. Just chocolate.” “Wait a minute.” I stood up, so I could get the bag. “Where are you going?” “Stay right there.” I went to the kitchen where I had hidden the bag and came back. “Here.” I gave the bag to her. “Really?” “Yeah, your favorites. I bought it this morning.” She looked at me skeptically. “You know I’m not on my period. Right?” “Yep.” She kept looking at me, I tried to pretend to watch the movie, but when I looked back at her she was still staring. “What?” “Spill it. First you made my favorite dish, then you didn’t complain when I chose the movie. And this is your Spoil bag. Despite when I’m on my period, you only give it to me when you’re in trouble. So what have you done?” “Well, I am in trouble.” “Why?... Oh, that trouble.” “Okay, listen to me. I’m really sorry. I know that what happened was really bad, and I know it was my fault. But I learn from it, I promise I will do my best to always remember to put it down. I am really sorry for what happened with my mom, and if you want me to, I will talk to her and I’ll tell her that it was mine and I was the one to leave it on the floor, and I take all the blame. I love you and if I could I would come back in time and prevent it from happening, but that I can’t do. But I do anything you want that is in my power, but please stop this. I need you. I miss you.”
She keeps looking me in the eyes and for a moment I think that she isn’t going to accept. “Finally!” She pulls my shirt and gives me a kiss. “But we will never talk about it with your mom again, ever. Why took you this long?” “I know, I should have bought you the bag earlier.” “Is not the bag Em, well I’m not complaining about it, but I didn’t forgive you because of it.” “No?” I am confused now. “No, I was just waiting for you to apologise, for real not just say sorry when you trying to have sex. It was very shameful.” “I know, I’m sorry.” “I know, now come here.” She gave me some hot kisses and just made me chase her, wanting for some more. “I really miss this.” “Me too.”
We were about to reconnect our lips when a big noise came from the movie. I pause it. “What do you say we stop the movie and go to our bedroom?” I asked her. “But I really want a M&M. Or some dessert.” “They will still be here in the morning, and we can have dessert in the bedroom.” “That one is good?” “Your favorite.” “I don’t know, still not convinced.” “What do you say I give you your dessert and I’ll give you one orgasm for each day I didn’t apologise and made you wait for it.” I said as I pull her to my lap and give her kisses all over her neck. “Huumm… I am liking that.” “It's good isn’t it? And I will owe you a massage.” With that she pushed away from me but still seated on my lap. “What are we doing here yet?” I connected our lips, she wrapped her legs around my waist and I lifted us. Let's just say that the night was long, thankfully we have an off day tomorrow.
