BLEACH CHARACTERS AS ANIMALS

Disclaimer: long post, Espada not included because for most of them the choice of spirit animals would be too obvious, might have forgotten some characters

1. YAMAMOTO- ELEPHANT

Formidable and majestic, Yamamoto is usually calm but he can show some violent temper when angered - just like an elephant. No one without huge claws and good fighting skills would be stupid enough to attack an elephant. An elephant never forgets. Also, his beard is grey like an elephant and he’s covered in wrinkles.

2. AIZEN - (EVIL) BUNNY

Bunnies seem cute, innocent, a little shy and nerdy, just like Aizen did at first. BUT DON’T LET THIS FOOL YOU, THEY’RE EVIL. Anyone saw Monty Python and the Holy Grail? Donnie Darko? The Secret Life of Pets? Or all these creepy medieval paintings with bunnies killing people? IT ALL HAD TO COME FROM SOMEWHERE. Evil bunnies are everywhere. Bunnies are evil. Also, they bite real hard, supreme fighting skills there.

3. ICHIGO - COW

Cows are calm, even stoic unless you threaten their calves. And Ichigo is also a very balanced person until his friends are in danger. If it happens, both Ichigo and cows rage, attack and can crush the perpetrator.

4. ORIHIME- SQUIRREL

Squirrels are curious and social animals, trusting and often making new friends, even with people. They’re very excitable and cute just like Orihime. Also, they’re orange.

5. RUKIA - LEMMING

No, we don’t mean that Rukia mindlessly follows the crowd or is suicidal (although she sometimes did, like, wtf is with her agreeing to an execution he didn’t deserve just because her brother told her she deserved it) - but rather that lemmings are those small animals which somehow are still able to survive in harsh conditions (like Rukia in Rukongai). They also live where it’s cold and snowy, and Rukia has ice powers, so it matches.
