new tag game: the thing you most often pretended to be as a kid—whether it was a horse, a bride, a queen, a specific character, a knight, a lawyer, a baby, anything—is symbolically representative of you currently. what is it for you?
#we were lost/abandoned girls in the forest left to survive of our own#traks pretty well with me rnaksksk#also the boy characters from charmed but not by choice but bc all the sisters were taken and I had no other option#I liked being Wyatt or Cole tho#I don't think O ever played Leo lmao#also tokyo mew mew#everyone wanted to be zoey and one girl always hogged the role to herself#noone wanted to be lettuce...#preeetty sure I played the space goblin boy or whatever he was from there too#lmao some are born nonbinary and some are forced to play a boy character in play pretend in kindergarden and primary school#bc all the girl roles were taken by more assertive kids#it was prophethic#i guess

Confession: The letter “t” key on my laptop has been broken since 2024. From what my research tells me, they can’t fix individual keys on that model, and my laptop is no longer under a warranty, but it seems foolish to fork out over $900 for a new computer, so instead I’ve trained my brain to hit ctrl+v every time I want to hit “t.”
But sometimes I have to copy-paste something else besides “t,” which means I need a readily available place to copy the “t” from.
My first thought was to search “tiger” on Google, but if you can’t type the letter “t,” you just get search results about Bob Iger.
I realized words that end with “t” are easier for Google to autocomplete, so the first one I thought of was “crypt.” But wouldn’t you know, googling “cryp” takes to you to cryptocurrency results, and I REALLY don’t want my algorithm thinking I google that multiple times per week.
Then I remembered a cool place I went in London, called Cafe in the Crypt. It’s exactly what it sounds like and located below St. Martin-in-the-Fields Church. When I type in “Cafe in Cryp,” Google does indeed autocomplete it effectively! So I either keep that search result open in a tab or Google it every day.
So, that being said, if anyone works for St. Martin-in-the-Fields Church’s marketing department and has been utterly flummoxed by an IP address from Virginia that has googled their cafe hundreds of times over the past 6 months… that wasn’t a bot, that was me.
I am the Spiders Georg of Cafe in the Crypt.
Anyway, it’s a pretty cool place to check out if you’re ever in London. Just maybe not cool enough to Google it on a daily basis for months straight.
#alsldk#once spilled soup on my hand me down laptop from my brother and half of the keys stopped working so I just used the keyboard app#and opened that and typed with my mouse if I absolutely must have typed in something#I only know of the excistence of a keyboard app on my laptop bc it keeps randonly popping up if I touch my drawing tablet just so#and I was always super annoyed by this but alas it was blessing in disguise all this time#anyway I lived lile this for like half a year than I did mention the broken keys to my computer whiz brother#who prompty found out that you cannot get a replacement keybpard for my old ass laptop model#so I just accepted my fate#later he gifted me an usb connected keyboard#so i used that woth my laptop#a real upgrade I could type again not painstakingly!#and honestly I was happy with this fix#the laptop dies immodeatley of you unplug the charging cable so I'm using it as a desktop computer anyway#but a year or so later my brother found a cheap broken in other ways sibling to my laptop and so he took out the keyboard from that one#and now my old reliable device is wholly a laptop again no seperate keyboard attachment required#moral of the story is if your brother loves tinkering with computers he will eventually fix your broken one#even if you don't complain about it#it's the tinkering instinct

I truly truly believe that the most important thing you can do in fandom is be a cheerleader. comment on fics. reblog art and rave in the tags. support the people making the things you want to see. this is how you keep a fandom alive. this is how you get more of what you want. you never know: that person could have decided to make more just because you liked it.
#literally the people writing nice things in the tags and not posting into the void is why I keep coming back to#drawing for a bunch if fandoms#<3

ben browder: claudia can actually have a tear stand on the end of her eyelash for up to six minutes. it’s the most remarkable thing you’ve ever seen. she can run through a battle with the eyelash tear hanging there, run into a close-up, and then the director goes, “now!” and the tear drops. claudia black: that’s not true, but it’s funny. ben browder: it’s close to the truth. claudia black: i freaked brian henson out when we were doing the miniseries, because he went, “okay, claudia, that’s creepy. you did it exactly the same, in exactly the same spot, on exactly the same line every time”. and i’m like, “well, you know, five years on farscape.” ben browder: and you said, “would you prefer me to do it with the other eye?” claudia black: exactly. “the left or the right, mr henson?” - “the way we weren’t” commentary
#claudia black#aeryn sun#farscape#would you prefer me to do it woth the other eye? askdkfkr#legend#saw the gifset first and was like oh no sad Aeryn gifset :(( but this post has a big twist woth the commentary lol

Sad that "don't know him" won, this is the guy to whom Beverly says something like "you should draw instead of killing people" when she sees his art and he just goes "I can do both", icon tbh, I could never forget him and his poorly done grey hairstreak </3
