If you're not doing the male and female versions of Leif, what gender are they in your normal comics?

Ok, a bit of out-of-universe answer:

While I have chosen they/them for both for consistency in the comics, Leif and Taro were meant to be interpreted as whatever gender the reader thinks of them, as in, you're free to think of them as male, female, nb or any other combination you'd like.
