A visceral reaction from Sam wasn’t expected and admittedly, it throws her a little off guard. “Am I supposed to feel sorry for you? Is my death such a burden? I had a life, Sam, and your lies took that away from me. Were you able to look my parents in the eyes after, huh? You didn’t even warn me. You just took off with your brother and left me behind like I was nothing. You fucking left and I hope it eats you up until you die.”

Jessica tries to stave off the rage but it’s rather difficult when the reason for her torment stands before her. She doesn’t flinch at his laugh, but it’s a sound she never wants to hear again. “You never came across one of your demon groupies? Funny. That’s what they would always say when they ripped me apart again and again. Guess I got the royal treatment.”
