Hey Picklesz! Hope you've been well~ I'm back again with another ARB question 😅

When it comes to team building, is it better to have a team with all/mostly the same auto skill, or is it better to diversify? One of my teams currently has four cards with Critical Tap+, but I feel like it still has room for improvement. (Though my only good leader options for said team both have Perfect Assist+...)

For the skills, (in MY OPINION Bc I don’t actually research game code or anything lol) Critical Tap is the best so you probably don’t need diversity BUT it could maybe depend per song. Critical Tap is best for covering everything but if the song has a lot of scratch notes or flick notes those teams can be useful. But tbh it’d have to be a LOT of scratch notes or flick notes. Long note is not good Bc it’s only 3% and obvs Critical Tap is higher. So honestly I think your team is good for skills!

Tips on scoring higher in general (and this is more late game) would just be to upgrade your existing cards and try to make sure all the cards have the same good stat! Here’s an example of my team rn

The blue stat (idk the names lmao) is extremely high Bc that’s all either their best stat or second best stat. Except for my Dice card he’s a placeholder Bc I don’t have any other maxed cards lmao. But all these cards also have tap note up (3) perfect up (1) and critical tap (1) and I score in the millions on no attribute songs when I use another maxed Halloween Ichiro as my friend leader skill.

Also if you are trying to score high on any song that has an attribute make sure your team matches the attribute! Saying this just because I didn’t realize I had to match the attribute for like eight months lmao.

Heya! 👋 Just as I was opening ARB for Rio's birthday today, Dice was actually the one who gave me the opening line (reading the game's title). I think he knew today is Rio's birthday lol

But that made me think, what kind of a birthday gift do you think he might get for Rio, if anything? Iirc in an earlier event (can't remember which one offhand) he got Ramuda a few practical things and also some lottery tickets - stuff he'd want for himself, basically - but I wonder if he'd do anything different for Rio 🤔

Tysm for the ask!! Actually I’ve been thinking about this a lot and I wish ARB would’ve given us a birthday line about that BUT I instead get to give my own HCs SO! Get ready for like an entire essay on my thoughts lol

Honestly I feel like Dice would lowkey think like way too hard about this Bc let’s be honest wtf does Riou even like?? I don’t think he cares about his own birthday — I remember last years birthday line Riou asked MC how they even knew when his birthday was LMAO — so like wtf are you supposed to get?? And it’s not like he needs anything either. Honestly he’s like the worst person to get a present for lmao and Dice really has no clue what to do (Bc let’s be honest, I don’t think anybody else in this series does either LOL).

But he’d obviously still want to do something Bc Riou does so much for him (including literally saving his life) so I feel like he’d end up saving some money and just showing up at Riou’s and being like “we’re going to go out and buy you something and have fun today!!” and Riou being kinda confused but “okay :)” Bc he has no idea why anybody wants to celebrate his birthday but it’s nice to spend time with them. So they just end up spending time together in Yokohama and Dice probably doesn’t ending up actually buying anything besides maybe food for them Bc Riou is actually impossible to buy a gift for and doesn’t want anything lol, but in the end Riou appreciates the fact they spent time together more than anything else and is more happy than if he got anything material, which Dice doesn’t fully understand Bc he doesn’t think he’s that special but if Riou’s happy he’s happy too :)

So basically. They go on a date LMAO. Sorry for the long response and word vomit I just have SO many thoughts and ALL of it fluff. Hopefully I answered your question adequately :D

Hey y’all sorry I haven’t posted for a while! I’ll try to post more often but my head has been empty recently :( So I thought I’d write an update :)

Basically, I made this blog to use it for my Riou/Dice obsession lol (I swear I’m okay lmao). I want to post a bunch of Riou/Dice HCs but idk if I should put them in one post or multiple lol and I’ve also been like obsessed with this ship for so long I’ve lowkey forgotten what’s my HCs and what’s not LMAO. But like I said idk which format y’all would like better. So tell me which one y’all would like and I’ll travel through my own brain to find all my HCs again.

I am in love with ship, my brain is rotting, and at the time of writing it’s very late so you guys are getting my unfiltered, sleep deprived rice thoughts let’s go-

Their dynamic?? HELLA UNDER-APPRECIATED YALL. Like it’s so specific but it hits all the right spots like... stoic but kind x clueless but appreciative? SIGN ME THE FUCK UP!

And that’s literally describing it as simply as possible like- there is so much you can do with this. Fluff? Yes that’s practically the entire ship. Hurt/comfort? Oh fuck yea especially with DRB2! Like cmon their relationship is so versatile there are so many things to imagine with them I swear

Also like. I love the fact they’re both kinda inept when it comes to communication, like in a good way LMAO, they just vibe despite it

It’s in different ways too, like Dice is probably the most oblivious mf in this franchise and Riou is definitely the most dense but somehow they manage to produce the most wholesome shit I have ever seen and I love them for it

Also in ARB they have matching cards besides the emu event ones like I swear they match poses in like three of their cards, ALSO deadass half their lines in Killer Scratch are the same??? That’s called mirroring and that is KIND OF GAY-

Speaking of the emu event the scenario words on Dice’s card are gay as hell like I ain’t seen anything gayer in this game than that he is straight up a simp in love with this man and doesn’t even try to hide it
