About Me

Hey there! This is Ricejoke and I go by she/them pronouns. I’m over 25 and well on my way to logging myself into a museum collection now but other than that, I manage this rp blog loosely, and I'm looking forward to writing with you. I’m more than happy to talk about characters and plot so hit me up whenever! That said, I haven't been in tumblr rp for several years at this point (I've mostly been on discord) so there's a lot of mechanics I'm not so sure of anymore - please be patient while I try to figure all of that out.

Note that I also have no specific triggers, but please let me know in advance if you want to include anything gore-related in our discussions - I’m fine with it, just need a heads-up!

A bit about myself, I’m a grad student majoring in poli-science currently studying in Poland, so do with that info what you may regarding my activity and whatnot. I live with two cats, have just picked up knitting, and and am amatuer DnD enthusiast. Please note that my activity may come and go, as I am in my final year of postgraduate studies, so life events may fluctuate here and there - I promise I will try my best to get to my replies and if you do ever feel like I've completely forgotten about you, please feel free to hit up my DMs or message me on discord, which I am happy to give after we've been properly acquainted, eheh.

Rules

1. PLEASE DO NOT INITIATE FULL-LENGTH RP THREADS WITHOUT FIRST RUNNING THEM PAST ME. Feel free to throw non-committed M!A’s, Asks, crack RPs or small introductions, but if we’re doing an entire plot with a different universe plus playing around with separate characters, come talk to me individually so we both don’t get confused. If I do get tagged in such threads without warning, I will ignore them.

Though! If you're responding to an open starter I've written, please go ahead!

2. UNLESS GIVEN EXPRESS PERMISSION, NO GODMODDING. I don’t think there's a need to elaborate.

3. VIOLENCE AND OTHER MATURE THEMES WILL DEFINITELY BE TOUCHED ON. The universes which my characters operate in often can be violent and meant for mature audiences, or it may dive into dead dove areas. Of course, if you do have specific big no-no’s (TW: Gore, Rape, Suicide etc…), let me know so I don’t bring them up in our RPs - please also let me know if at any point I am making you uncomfortable, never feel afraid to have a conversation with me.

4. IF THE POST WAS NOT MEANT FOR YOU, DO NOT INTERRUPT THE THREAD.

5.ﾠDO NOT FORCE A SHIP ON ME.ﾠI enjoy shipping as much as the next person but I tend to take things slow and I will not turn this blog into an exclusive blog for anyone. I do multi-ship aggressively and do it based on chemistry.ﾠ

6.ﾠMY REPLY STYLE IS MULTI-PARA.ﾠI will usually match your length. Sometimes, I write a little more, sometimes a little less! But we can discuss those things as well as we go along.

7.ﾠI WILL NOT REPLY EVERYTHING CHRONOLOGICALLY.ﾠI will try to, no doubt, but I do have irl responsibilities and I will order my replies accordingly to keep my brain going. If you worry that I may have forgotten our thread, message me and poke me a bit!

8. IF YOU ARE UNDER 18, WE WILL NOT BE WRITING SEXUAL CONTENT TOGETHER.

9. I AM OKAY WITH DROPPING THREADS. It can be because of our schedules not working out, our characters not having chemistry or maybe because of certain things both of us do that do not come together well. I’m okay with all of it, and I take no offence because I understand all of us have our own responsibilities. You don’t have to tell me what the problem is, but let me know if you wanna drop and I promise I will not pressure you for the reason. That said, if you need more time, no problemo either.

10. MY REPLIES WILL NOT CONTAIN ICONS. I personally don’t see the point of it, especially because that takes a lot of time out for me. I also don’t want to steal art from artists who work on their artwork for long hours and don’t want it reposted elsewhere.

11. I DO NOT TOLERATE DISCRIMINATORY BEHAVIOR. That covers sexism, racism, ableism, ageism, and the likes. Unless it is specific to the realm of rp and we've actively discussed it as a point in the rp, I can and will block anyone who has presented themselves as unsavoury characters.
