A bit of a rant but... A character lives more rent-free on the mind of their salters than of their stans!

Miraculous chronology?
I think that Miraculous Ladybug is the only show that people can argue that the chronological order of the episodes is different of the intended (keyword: intended) broadcast order - to not mention the actual broadcast order....

I'm not sure if Marinette getting akumatized in season 6 or later would be a good idea, because I'm being worried about how the writers will depict it: normally when a character is akumatized in the show, it is portraited as not the character's fault for being take advantage by Hawkmoth/Shadowmoth/Monach... but I'm afraid that if Marinette is akumatized, the show will be portraited it as her fault....

I think that we must realize that Maribug is self-sacrificing in the same extend than AdriChat, just not in the same way - AdriChat self-sacrifices to act as a shield to Ladybug in the Akuma fights, while Maribug self-sacrifices to act as Atlas to carry (what she learnt to think of) her burdens to protect the happiness of the people around her....

Miraculous is not written realistically...
One problem that I have with the comments of what would be "realistic consequences" for the characters' actions is... that the show is not written in a realistic/naturalistic way, but in an cartoony, exaggerated way, since the show have a strong comedic vibe, one centered around the characters' actions and reactions.
Because for we to have "realistic consequences" without breaking the tone of the narrative, we would need that the characters were written in a realistic manner... but if they were written in a realistic manner, at least 80% of their criticized actions would not have happened, because in a realistic scenario and treatment, they would not have done them...
And we have to consider that Miraculous is written as a strongly episodic show, rather than an serialized narrative - the actions of the characters are to fit and keep the planned plot of the episode going, rather than the plot of the episode emerge from the characters (so we don't really have the chance to explore why they react the way they did....)...

I'm the only one that thinks that it is weird that in Werepapas, the writers actually used the Rings as a possible plot point - this early in the new season?
Because when the show writers add a possible Chekov's Gun, they take a *long* time to make it go off... per example, Marinette created the Lucky Amulets in the first part of Season 4, but we, the audience, only saw one of them being actually used at the end of Season 5. Or how the Lila plot really started in the beginning of Season 3, but it only had any payoff again at the end of Season 5 (and such payoff made no difference anyway...).
Either the writers only wanted a "shock moment" unconnected to the season's plot or whatever they are planning to do about the rings will be way different than what we expect...

With the Season 6 leaks, I am more convinced than ever: the problem in Miraculous is not the characters, it is the formulaic narrative structure of the episodes .

Ran Mouri as Carmen Sandiego?
Or more specifically, cosplaying as Carmen Sandiego... There several art (official and fanart) of Conan, Ran and the Detective boys cosplaying as Sherlock Holmes...
I can't help but think that at last *once* (maybe due Sonoko's sugestion/pranking), when Shinichi/Conan is in a Sherlock Holmes costume, Ran decides to wear a Carmen Sandiego costume just to prank him.
i guess that the mental image is just funny... :-)

Random thought #6 - Batman and Multivac
I would how Batman and the members of the Batfamily would react if Multivac (from Isaac Asimov's stories) became online in their universe...

A bit of the a rant, but I confess that I'm a bit tired of angst in Miraculous.
Or maybe I'm tired of the desire for more angst.
Once very week, I see people expecting that in the upcoming seasons there will be either:
A "Chat-Goes-Rogue/Villain" plot
A "Miraculous Civil War" plot
A "Marinette-gets-Akumatized" plot
Specially now that the show writers did set up a Spider-Man 1/The Dark Knight ending twist in the Season 5 to set up the drama for the upcoming seasons...
It just do not vibe to me - instead I want the writers to take a page from Sailor Moon rather that Spiderman to see the characters finally *healing*.

I hope that, in upcoming seasons, Marinette finally receives guidance - more than a break (although that she desesperately need one!!) or "consequences" (since the writers always make it blows up in her shoulders....).
And I mean actual guidance - not the pro forma "you're wrong!" that the show loves to send in her direction.
I mean someone that will listen to her ideas, and then, calmly and gently, ask: "But why do you think that this is the better solution?" Someone that actually tell her information that she needs to take better decisions and/or explain possible problems...
Because the show acts as if Marinette is supposed to know the right answer right way, but it depends that she takes the wrong decision to get the plot going....

After the last special and the probable plot developments of Season 6...
I think that both Marinette and Adrien have the right to give Miraculous the Mystery Science Theater 3000 Treatment, where both comment and mock the antics that the series' screenplays put them into as a way to relieve their pent-up stress and trauma: they would mock their own cringe moments, but defend the other (Marinette would mock the messes that the story forces her into that the viewer criticize her for, but Adrien would console/defend her, and vice-versa - while they made fun of the story's creators.)

Random Thought #5
If Nathalie was a kind of treasure hunter/adventurous archeologist before she met and start to work with the Agrestes.... there is the possibility that she met (and maybe, was a rival of) Lara Croft?
