I'm Vic Kassian, the director and programmer for RICKFINDERRZ!

I'm so excited to introduce you all to the rest of the team in the upcoming weeks; each and every one of them is so incredibly talented and passionate (and, of course, a sucker for the old man 😏).

Question about your dev team rules: is the ban on people who have worked on tabop ship projects more about how you personally feel, or more about keeping the peace with the wider fandom? Just curious about your perspective.

To keep the peace. 😌 There are two polarizing sides of the fandom, and while it would have been lovely to include everyone onto the team, I don't think the collaborative atmosphere would have been the most comfortable for all team members involved. There are some people, like me, who don't mind interacting/working with creators from the taboo space; but there are also others who refuse to interact with that community in any capacity (and have a right to curate their online experience in that way).

I understand that some people are (rightfully) upset with the decision I've made, but my reasoning is more about the comfort of our future team members and avoiding hostility/conflict within the team.

Personally, I don't care what others create; ship what you want to ship. I've met some incredibly kind and talented people in that community.

I hope my answer helps others understand my decision. Again, I send no ill will to anyone, and I hope we can create a game that everyone will enjoy!
