Riddler, Scarecrow, and Mad Hatter headcannons for when they are put into an Escape Room with their crush. The assigning of pairs for the escape rooms are completely random, and by son coincidence they got put in the same one. How'd they react?
Summary: Mad Hatter, Riddler, and Scarecrow being randomly assigned to their crush in an escape room. (2nd person/ gender neutral)
A/n: I'd like to be the first to say that I'be never been in an escape room, so I apologize if any of these seem far-fetched. However, I was interested and had some minor ideas. And I may had gotten a little ahead of myself with Jonathan’s.. :))
*cutlass is a sword that was commonly used by sailors and pirates through 17th-19th century.
||> Mad Hatter
It must be fate—destiny's work, it must think you two are meant for each other! That's what Jervis thinks, but has some semblance of thinking skills to keep that to himself, even if it's very obvious how delighted he is to have been randomly paired up with you for the escape room.
He is one of those rare people that can actually multitask, so while he's going around the room with you looking for clues, he's chattering absently. It's nice, even if it may be a little distracting for you.
"—And you wouldn't believe the time it took, fixing the chips on my cards after that whole mess! It would've taken less effort to make new ones, of course, but they still had some use to them. You understand what I mean, don't you?"
You nod your head in response, pulling out on of the books from the bookshelf. The clue from the desk pointed over here, so surely it had to be one of these books— You stiffened upon feeling Jervis' hand on your arm, his other hand's forefinger out and running along the spines of the other books on a shelf higher. "What was the clue again?" he asked, eyes running along the titles on the binds before he looked at you.
Blinking away the surprise from a moment ago, you returned your gaze to the book in your hands. "'Among neighbors in a makeshift-complex, one stands alone with its call to adventure,'" you quoted, thumbing the cover of the book before sliding it back into its slot. Jervis hummed in reply, his hand leaving your shoulder to tap his cheek as he pondered. Your gaze flitted between the titles, before stopping at one in particular—above the title was a small illustration of a cutlass* near the top of the spine.
There was slight amusement on your face as you heard Jervis gasp right beside you, the man grinning as you opened the hardcover to reveal a sticky note on the first picture. "We've found the next clue!"
||> Riddler
Not sure if there's necessarily a "[clenches fist] Let's goooo!" meme, but if there is, Edward is internally the imbodiment of that. Not only is he in his element, but his crush is there, too.
He totally uses the situation to impress you, upturning clues left and right. You have to tell him that you're supposed to be looking for clues too, before he realizes. Despite his ego and trying to impress you, he's fun to work with, especially if you're skilled at escape rooms. There's plenty of times when you've both figured out a clue at the same time, or you figured it out before he did.
He says he was "handing it to you," [the clue] but you know better.
Conversation is exchanged while you and Edward look for teh next clue, suggesting possible answers back and forth. It wasn't long before you returned to the middle of the room, where a key inside a locked, transparent box laid on the center table. You had tried fiddling with it at the start of the session to see if you could find a loophole before abandoing it to look for the password.
"If you think messing with that box is going to give you the answer, then I'm afraid you're sorely mistaken," Edward says with a laugh. He's at the bookshelf adjacent to the door you both stepped into at the start of the round, slotting out and in the books and materials on the shelves in hopes he'd find a clue. A slip of paper, or some numbers scratched into the back—something to answer the four-digit code on the box.
You rolled your eyes, stepping away from the box before glancing around the room. Each bookshelf had been searched and moved for clues, each cabinet opened and rummaged through—your eyes flitted to the mirror across the room, some of the light from the lamps and the ceiling light reflecting off it. Nothing appeared off, merely reflecting the view before it, and yet you stepped forward, squinting for anything that appeared off.
Then it hit you: faint numbers mirrored from the wall behind you, barely noticeable if it weren't for the mirror and just the right lighting. You shrugged it off as discoloration at first, but you knew better now that the numbers 4, 2, 9, and 6 stared right at you. "Found you."
||> Scarecrow
I doubt Jonathan would've showed up to an escape room of his own accord, so maybe Edward or another rogue somehow talked him into it. Who knows how it came to be—all that matters is that he's there, and he's been paired up with you by random.
Jonathan is put together for the most part—except that he's a wreck on the inside, his default intimidation dampered by the heavy awkward vibes around him as you and him go around looking for clues. It's quiet, mumbling about where the clues could be and searching on your own.
When the first clue is found you two start working together, actually communicating with each other and thinking on the clues.
"42—that couldn't be a code or something, could it?" you ask, rummaging through a desk for anything that could hint to what the number was for. The escape room you were in practically screamed Jonathan's name—it was dark for the most part, save for a sole vintage lamp in the center of the room that bled light to the corners of the room, and was academic in aesthetic.
Jonathan stood facing the walls, studying them and the neighboring decor as he pondered over the clue. Just earlier the two of you uncovered a key from inside the desk, but it was far too small to fit into the keyhole for the door they needed to get through. His gaze drew toward a bookself, skimming over its contents boredly before he rose an eyebrow; while many of the books shelved were in an unusual manner with the spines facing inward rather than out, on the bottom shelf multiple books were shelved properly.
He kneeled down before the bookshelf and ran his finger over one book before pulling it out. It was an old book, but looked nothing out of the ordinary. He shelved it back the way it was previously, before repeating the action once more, twice more, before pulling out the fourth of the five. It was a hardcover with a book latch over the fore edge that required a key—a small one, he noted, as he glanced to wear the key was set on the desk you had abandoned to see what he had found.
“Found something?”
He hummed in response, standing up and you watched as he took the key from the desk and poked it into the book’s latch, unlocking it before opening the hardcover a few pages in. He flipped more pages before stopping at one, trailing his forefinger down the text before pausing half the page down, and looking up. You cocked your head slightly as you followed his gaze, coming to a halt at a painting of a tree and a group of black birds. “Jonathan?” you asked, looking at him once more as he moved, handing the book to you before making his way towards the painting. Your gaze fell to the book, skimming the pages for a moment to come across a line of text—she stood before a painting of ravens and a tree—only to look up as Jonathan unhooked the painting from the wall, turned it around, and revealed a key taped to its back.

Dork Squad fall for that one reporter who makes photos of them for the newspaper/online news.
Summary: Mad Hatter, Riddler, and Scarecrow falling for a reporter.. (2nd person/ gender neutral)
A/n: I am slowly working on requests again, I have some that are almost done and should be out in the next week :) (also I wasn't sure if you meant 'takes' or not, so I just went that route,,)
||> Mad Hatter
Oh, Jervis wasn't sure who was taking such photos of him with crisp shots and lighting at first, but he does not waste another second finding out! It helps that your name was credited below his recent photo in the newspaper he came across.
He becomes much more careful and observant of what goes on around him, keeping an eye out for anything out of the regular in hopes he may find the reporter that's been taking his photos. And when he does, he doesn't let the opportunity pass.
At first it's curiosity, but it's not long before he grows interested in learning about you. Even outside the fact you take photos of him, the way you do so has him waiting for the next new edition or article to come out to see if there's a new photo of him (or anything really, but himself especially) you've taken.
The lighting, the care in the lack of blure or style, just the entirety of how you take your photos—it's caught him, line and sinker. And it's not long before you manage to snag his heart the same way.
||> Riddler
Finally, someone finally understands and appreciates his person to capture him in polaroid form! And not in an amateurish sense—professionally, for all of Gotham to recognize him! Just who is the individual he has to commemorate (or "volunteer" for his next death trap)?
He's quite enamored with the attention and detail to your photos of him, although depending on what the subject matter and setting of the photo, was, he may have a different reaction. If it's during a time he's out and 'in action,' he's far more likely to seek you out for some words of your talent and appreciation for models and matters of his own essence.
However, if it's during a less appealing moment (facing a nother loss against the Batman), or in a place of private (like his workshop or home), he may be inclined to seek you out for a few selective words and threats...
Regardless, congrats—you've gained Edward's attention, and there's little to nothing that'll pull it away, save for the Dark Knight. Whether you've obtained his liking or his irritation, he'll be on the lookout for any new photography you may have out on the next newspaper or online article.
||> Scarecrow
He's.. put off, to say the least. At first, anyway. Mostly by the fact that your photos have enough speciality to them to give out details of himself that most other photographers would end up blurring. And it frustates him.
The Scarecrow is meant to be a beacon of fear, of terror—people should think twice before walking across his path—but you? You take photos of him in a way that he's certain you've been up close to take them.
He will admit that they catch his likeness, however—most reporters' photos of him are humilitaing, such as being taken back to Arkham or losing to the Bat; or are blurry to the point only the shape of the photo's subject is determinable. But yours, as much as it frustrates him, are taken neatly and without flaw. Many of them even capture his formidable stature—truly give due credit to the alias he dons.
Jonathan has many ways of finding what he wants, and you've caught his attention. Your photos make him wonder what you fear—what limits you have that'll scare you off, or keep you coming back. And he's determined to figure out each and every one of them.

One Of Those Days  | drabble
Summary: On days you can’t settle the thoughts in your head, laying down on the floor helps you. And when he finds you, Jervis joins you. (2nd person/ gender neutral)
A/n: I’m working on requests, but I wanted to write this—kept the thoughts vague so it’s less specific :)
||> Mad Hatter
It was one of those days.
When the apartment was quiet, the city outside barely alive, and you unable to calm the thoughts in your head. TV or music couldn’t drown them out, your hobbies couldn’t distract you... So you laid down in the center of your living room, the space clear of smaller furniture and objects for room.
And that’s where Jervis found you, staring up at the ceiling when he entered the apartment, talking aloud about something that happened during his outting. He went quiet upon noticing the lack of reply, slipping his jacket and hat off as he scanned the space for you. It was when he stepped into the living area did he find you where you laid.
“Oh dear,” he tutted, placing his hat and jacket down on the arm of the couch before he kneeled down beside you. You had barely acknowledged his presence, staring up with a look he knew all too well. You were still there—not fully, perhaps, but when he said your name, taking one of your hands in his gloved one, you finally looked at him.
He smiled, rubbing his thumb against the back of your hand. “Are you with me, dear?”
You nodded. He hummed, seemingly content with your answer, before he shifted to lay down beside you. He grunted, a few pops releasing from his back as he settled down. “I must ask, how is this comfortable for you? I feel older just laying like this,” he says, an air of drama to his words as he turned his head to look at you.
A smile grows on your lips, squeezing his hand still in yours for a moment before looking back up at the ceiling. Jervis resumed, speaking once more about his outting, and how he had come across a bookshop, and a couple of birds, and...
While his voice filled the quiet apartment, his hand never left yours, continuing to rub circles into your hand with his thumb. You could hear the smile in his voice and as he rattled on, your thoughts began to disperse to make room for his.
It was one of those days, with a quiet apartment, and a loud mind—but not when Jervis was there to help you.

Perhaps,, Gotham pre-Riddler with a future s/o with motor tics? Like consistently flexing their fingers, jerking/twisting their neck till a pop sounds, shrugging their shoulders back or forward tightly, etc? Maybe s/o ends up developing a tic where they tilt their head a little, like Edward's done a couple times?
I adore your writing for all the Riddlers! 🥺
Pop
Gotham Edward Nygma X Reader
I would like to start by saying that I do not have motor tics and I've tried by best to educate myself about it through Google and with the help of the requester themself.
💚 He knows no bounds in terms of socialising, as he very much prefers to let his feelings be known. Good for him, but sometimes people would prefer to keep to themselves and not be bothered at all-- but anyways, he may be a touch disgraceful in social settings, but let it be known that he knows better than to stare at you when you tic, nor does he feel the need to point it out or react to it. He has been taught it is rude and the last thing he wants is to make you feel self-conscious about it.
💚 Now he doesn't mean to pry, but he noticed certain tics of yours were a little violent that sometimes he can't help but to be concerned. Are your fingers or neck strained? Are your shoulders sore? He will offer to massage them but will respectfully back away if you decline.
💚 Now, he doesn't fight your battles for you, he knows you can handle yourself... But he will glare at those who stare at you when you tic. Edward isn't an intimidating dude, but he tries his best. Have they no decorum? And they call him lacking social graces.
💚 Now he didn't notice that you developed a new tic because of him until an officer pointed out how you were becoming Edward. And when Edward saw it himself...
"Oh dear..."
Does he often do that? The habit was subconscious, if anything, something he does whenever he is intrigued or confused. He doesn't really know how to react to the fact to develop a tic from him tilting his head.
"Um... Thank you? Wait nono--!!! Not thank you!"
Well, they do look cute tilting their head like that. Like a curious little kitty... Wait, that's weird, stop thinking of them like that Edward.

Spider Fixation  | headcanons
Summary: Mad Hatter and Riddler with an s/o who has a hyperfixation on spiders.
A/n: When I was younger I had the biggest hyperfixation on spiders, and I still do, though not as major. Spiders are cool, but uh, trigger warning for anyone squeamish with them!
||> Mad Hatter
I'm going to be real, and this makes me kind of sad, but I think Jervis would be on the fence about this. On one hand, you're so cute and adorable and passionate when you gush about spiders and what you like about them, cool facts about them and of any particular species you like. On the other,, he's trying to not squirm at the detail and think too much on them, just smiling and nodding along and responding politely here and there, but mostly listening.
Jervis likes bugs, he thinks they're cool! He just likes some of them, like spiders, from a distance—preferably with a wall in front. He likes the cutesy, cartoon designs of them he's seen pictures of, and some baby spider pictures you've shown him he finds endearing, but please don't show him a real, physical one, up close and personal. Please.
Despite this, Jervis will absolutely buy you spider-themed things, simply because he adores the look you have when you get them. They're usually a plushie or silly figure, nothing too realistic.
If there are any spiders around the hideout or house, he'll leave them to you. If you want to let it out, by all means go ahead, otherwise, he or a henchman is going to shoo it off (or kill it, depending on how big/fast it is).
He's not really sure what it is that he's not too keen on spiders—he doesn't mind multiple eyes, or multiple limbs (he adores caterpillars, afterall!), or any other traits a spider possesses for the most part. It's probably the fact it's multiple of those factors all in one.
Please don't leave any plastic spiders around in places he'll find them. He may have a mini-heart attack and throw something at it before he realizes it's fake, but he lets out a loud shriek that could've been avoided if you didn't, y'know, leave them around.
||> Riddler
On the otherhand, I would absolutely reccommend leaving plastic spiders around the place for Edward to find! Sure, he shrieks, and jumps up like a startled cat, but it's such a hilarious sight (even if he's cussing you out while you're laughing).
Unlike Jervis, he doesn't hide his grimaces as well, but he's more likely to engage in facts and listen to you ramble on about your fancy for the "creepy crawlies." He's already coming up with riddles tailored to your interests, but the second you let on about any favorites you have he's researching as much as he can.
As much as Edward may not be interested in spiders, he does find them fasinating. You'll both be rambling on about spiders and some of the different hunting methods different spiders have, and if he tells you a fact that you hadn't already known before, he is so proud of himself, it's ridiculous but also sweet.
Okay, look, as long as the spiders in his house or hideout are sticking with their webs and aren't getting in the way, he'll leave them alone, he has no quarrels. Hell, it's a mutualistic relationship! He doesn't have to deal with pesky flies and whatnot, and the spiders get a meal.
He's definitely bought spider-related things for you, especially if they look similar to a favorite species of yours. Books, plushies or figurines (if you're into that sort of thing), related accessories—he's a dork.

Jervis with an s/o that writes him love letters? Like sends him poems about how amazing he is & doodles little rabbits + flowers on the corners of the page. Very sweet & sappy cause he deserves it <3
Summary: Mad Hatter with an s/o who writes him love letters with little doodles. (2nd person/ gender neutral)
A/n: I gotta work on timing these requests smh anyway, very cute request and Jervis absolutely deserves them, I hope you enjoy!
||> Mad Hatter
The chances of Jervis receiving letters of any form (much less love letters) is slim to none, so his s/o writing him love letters? He melts, literally.
Each letter you write him he keeps in a safe place for him to go back to, especially when he's down in the dumps. He loves rereading them, because the love in your writing, in your words—it never leaves.
And the doodles on the corners? He loves them—the little rabbits, the cutesy flowers—Jervis could just pepper you in kisses, and he does.
The sappy words, your love and adoration for him?? He cries sometimes, but don't worry, he's just feeling a lot of things and it's all love.
Don't think that he won't counter your letters with some of his own, because he will—he'll write you love letters that may rival the sappiness of yours. Little doodles of flowers and Alice in Wonderland-related themes all over the papers, rhymes and compliments for how much he loves you and appreciates you.
He's always pulling out your letters to go through when on his bad days and you're not around, so he wants to return that same appreciation so, in the instance he's not around (which is unlikely) when you're in a rough spot, you'll have his letters to make you smile.

Sticky Notes  | headcanons + scenario
Summary: Scarecrow with an s/o who leaves sticky notes around for him. (2nd person/ gender neutral)
||> Scarecrow:
The notes likely came about for a variety of reasons: for reminders, recounting something that happened in your day you thought he would like/should know, endearment.
Jonathan isn't the most affectionate, especially when he's still easing up in the relationship (he does care about you, very much, affection is something he's just very touchy [ha] about). So you understanding, and respecting his boundaries while still showing your affection for him in a way that he doesn't feel suffocated? It's one of the sure things that makes him fall harder for you, that understanding and accomdating aspect.
He keeps all of them, every single one—and after a while, he leaves his own notes for you to find, returning the gesture. If you leave notes in one colour (like pink or green) he'll leave notes in a different colour.
Even when he does come around to showcasing his affection verbally/physically, the notes still continue. He considers it the most endearing affection between you and him, although he may not say it out loud. Now, if he doesn't find a note from you at least once a day, he's going to look everywhere in the place you share to see if he missed it, else he'll seek you out and hand you his own note (kind of like a subtle reminder that he loves them, please don't stop).
A small smile was on Jonathan's lips as he read over the sticky note you had left on the coffee maker. It read 'went to get more coffee. Left the last of it for you, honey :),' with his favorite coffee mug already set on the counter. He'd since started up the coffee maker, the liquid and grounds brewing while he leaned against the counter, the note held gingerly between his fingers as he scanned over it again.
Once the coffee was done, he returned to his workspace, mug in hand while your note was tucked into the pocket of his flannel. When you got back home, coffee package tucked under your arm as you closed the door after you, you were quick to make your way into the kitchen. Jonathan wasn't there, but his mug was gone. You smiled to yourself, setting the package down on the opposite counter before you caught sight of a new note in place of yours on the coffee maker, in a different colour and familiar handwriting.
You pick up the note, reading Jonathan's handwriting with a growing smile and a fond feeling.
'Thank you, dear. I'll see you when you return.'

Hi! Request of hatter, scarecrow, and the riddler for a s/o who teaches ballet?
Summary: Mad Hatter, Riddler, and Scarecrow with an s/o that teached ballet. (2nd person/ gender neutral)
A/n: Had to look at tips and such for this, so let me know if I got something wrong with ballet please!
||> Mad Hatter
He's on board all the way, asking questions about the moves, the costumes, the stances—he likely gets a few terms wrong, but he's so eager to learn and know, and it's endearing.
Jervis is more of an impromptu type, just dancing around or pulling you into a dance at a whim, but he absolutely wants you to teach him some of the moves, if you're alright with that, of course.
He's quick to get the different positions down, but he may be clumsy with staying loose and balanced. He doesn't let that stop him—he just laughs, giggles, apologizing lightheartedly before trying again.
While he does try to practice on his own, he certainly won't say no to you guiding him, moving his arms into the right places or holding his hip to right him (he's touch-starved).
If he can help it (and he will try), he'll be at your studio to see how everything is, whether in the beginning of the day to see you're ready for the day, during the middle to check up (including giving a hug and or kiss on the way out), or around when your work day ends, to pick you up or to help with anything you may need before going home.
It doesn't matter if he's just barely a beginner, he will volunteer to help you with any move you may need, especially if it's with a partner. Because he genuinely wants to help you with anything, but maybe a little bit so you don't need assistance for a partner move from one of the other advanced learners or teachers..
Jervis can be overbearing if you get an injury, but he means well; he can't stand seeing you hurt, even if it's just a sprain, but he promises to be with you and help with whatever you may need. He'll tell you to try and be more careful, but accidents happen, he understands. The thing he doesn't mind about it all is that gets to spend more time with you.
||> Riddler
Edward finds it charming—I think, outside of his riddles and niche interests, he'll be willing to learn anything, and probably tried to learn on his own through video tutorials and books. Whether he went anywhere with it is another story, but he considers it an art and treats as such.
He enjoys stopping by the studio (unless you teach at home/elsewhere) to see you in your element. Sometimes, when classes are over or there's a brief time between classes, you'll try and teach Edward some of the beginner moves.
He'll be a little too confident when he tries doing a plié on his own, going from second to first position as he sinks down.
"Heels on the floor, Ed"  "What?"
"Point your knees out."  "Okay, okay."
It,, takes a while, but eventually he gets ahold of some of it. He much prefers watching you practice and teach the moves, but if you need a partner you bet he's going to try and volunteer himself (he's clingy and pleasing, what's there to say).
While you're experienced enough to avoid ill-performing moves, if you end up injuring yourself—be it tearing something, straining, etc.—he'll help wherever needed. Sometimes he'll tut and chide you to be more careful, while other times he's just there at your side, getting whatever you may need, not wanting you to strain the injury more. He won't overstep where he's not experienced—the last thing you need is (probably another) an amateur giving advice on stuff he doesn't know (he's done that before countless times).
||> Scarecrow
Finds it intriguing, and asks about your teaching, but isn't too interested in learning.
He sees you practicing stretches at home, and somehow you manage to coax him into learning the different positions. He does alright, has good balance and endurance, but he's stiff. Absolutely no chill.
He gets looser with time though, so it's not a loss. He's just more likely to stumble, with how tall and lanky he is.
If you want Jonathan to help you with a move or something in private he's willing, but he's not going to move an inch if it's in public. Too much looking, and the last thing he needs is a group of learners just staring at him while trying to help you with one (teaching was one thing, and he was in his element; in ballet he's comparable to a stumbling baby bird).
He's a little more willing if someone else ends up doing the move with you (especially if it's someone more "conventionally attractive"), but he won't dare mention it.
If you wind up with an injury, Jonathan's making sure you're taking care of yourself and not straining the injury. He asks how it happened, and looks up on the types of injury and how to better heal it. He's not perfect at ballet, but he's resourceful, so if he can help you even a little during the healing process he'll try.

Tight Spots  | headcanons
Summary: Mad Hatter, Riddler, and Scarecrow with an s/o that can fit in small/tight places. (2nd person/ gender neutral)
A/n: cursing/ profanity.
||> Mad Hatter
"Oh? How'd you get here?"
The first time Jervis finds you tucked in some place not meant for being in, he's confused—amused, but confused nonetheless. While he's helping you out of the space (whether you needed it or not, despite your feelings on staying put) he's speaking to no one in particular, wondering aloud how you managed to get yourself in there, and why were you in there.
After the first couple times, he's more used to it. He's not against it, per say, but he makes a point to pull you out of such places, saying you might hurt yourself, or get stuck or break something. Sometimes he'll tut disapprovingly, chiding that you had no reason to get yourself into such places.
If you're on the taller or larger side, he may be more baffled, especially if you managed to stow yourself in a cupboard or tiny closet.
God forbid if you got yourself up somewhere he couldn't get you down from, like the top of the fridge or a high place in general. He's not sure whether to ask how you got up there, chide you for being up there, or how to get you down himself, and the longer he's staring up at you the more his eyes squint and his face wrinkles, more and more confused.
||> Riddler
"Anyway, as I was saying, if I'm gonna—what the hell?"
He will not be pleased to find you. Sure, he gets used to it, but that doesn't make him any more receptive. If anything, he'll just shoo you out of that spot he found you in. On the offchance he's not moody about finding you somewhere you shouldn't be, he'll brush it off, saying there's plenty other places to be than the cabinets.
Edward's considered putting locks on the cabinets and closets, but the last time he did that it was an inconvenience, so he doesn't. He'll threaten to though (not that it changes anything).
If he finds you in one of the cabinets or closets in his workspace, he'll be livid. Don't do it, please, it's not worth it.
If you're tall or large, he's going to probably take a second to respond to finding you. The questions don't need to be asked, it's written on his face, as he pulls you out.
||> Scarecrow
"Huh. That's where you've been."
Jonathan acts like this is the norm, but he just knows that if he ponders too much on it he might get a headache. The less he considers it, the better, and he's sticking by it. Even if he gets curious.
He treats it like it's part of the usual routine: get up, study or work on fear gas or previous notes, pull you out of the cabinets, eat, read, get ready for terrorizing Gotham, pull you out of the cabinets—it's not much, but it's honest work.
The only time he's baffled is if he just saw you, turned away for a second, then found you disappeared. He knows he's going to find you in one of those damn cabinets, he just knows it, but this is the one situation where he's not straight-faced.
Outside of that one case scenario, no matter how tall, short, large, or small you are, he's going to treat it like the usual.

Time Anxiety  | headcanons
Summary: Mad Hatter, Riddler, and Scarecrow with an s/o that has anxiety, specifically with time and being late. (2nd person/ gender neutral)
||>  Mad Hatter
Jervis understands the worry about being late, so he tries to help you if he can. He's not the best at time management (Wonderland can do that to you, y'know), but he certainly tries!
He calls you his white rabbit—anxious about the time, where you're supposed to be, what needs to be done—he doesn't mean to not take it seriously, he just finds it somewhat.. endearing?
Before he became the Mad Hatter, Jervis often let time slip by more than he should've, always in that head of his or tinkering with something when he should be doing something else, so he probably doesn't realize if something's coming up quickly that you may be anxious about. But he does notice you, and your anxiety, and that can be enough to bring him up to speed.
He may not be the best at managing his own time, but he can surely help you with yours! If it's somewhere you're supposed to be, he'll make sure you get there on time, or at least before! If it's something that needs to be turned in (like work), he'll see to it himself it's all accounted for.
If you're worrying over something that's yet to come up, or won't be for a while (when has there not been anxiety for something that's not coming up for even weeks on hand?), he'll try and ease that anxiety out of you. He really doesn't like when you're fretting over something, especially if it's over something that won't be around for a bit.
His go-to's to help ease your anxiety is tea and biscuits, but if there's any other comfort drink or food you have he's sure to make sure it's made and ready. If holding you is what you need, best make sure he's either not squeezing you too much or is squeezing just enough. Hell, if it's things piling up that's worsening your anxiety, he's already lending a hand before you can ask for it!
He wants to make sure you know you don't have to deal with your anxiety alone. He's always there to help.
||> Riddler
Honestly, Edward gets it. I mean, he doesn't really have that fear (he's more than willing to make a late entrance), but he understands why you could have it, for whatever reason you do.
He's a hit-or-miss when it comes to time management—sometimes he's on top of things, sometimes he's immersed in something and forgets time exists. But even then he's pretty good at catching himself up to speed, so he's more than willing to help if something's troubling you.
The only times he's.. less helpful.. is when your anxiety is at a breaking point. Like if he's driving you somewhere you need to be (a work meeting, an appointment, etc.) and it's nearing the time of your appointment, and you're getting antsy and telling him you're going to be late, you're going to miss it, whoever you're seeing is going to turn you away—he's going to stop you, whether it's with a hand on your shoulder or hand and reassuring you everything will be alright, or telling you to quit your worrying, you're almost there (you'll get both of these responses, depending on what it's about and his current mood). He's blown up a couple times with the second one, but he's trying, really.
If he can, Edward will try and make sure you're not piling up stuff that will end up increasing your anxiety later on.
Sometimes he is gentle, asking if he can help with anything to lessen your load, helping with scheduling things or rescheduling something if you're worried about being late or events/appointments are conflicting. He probably won't call or reschedule anything himself, just help you organize things and get you to reschedule stuff yourself.
And, sometimes, he'll take things into his own hands, telling you your driving yourself up a wall with scheduling things without checking if it'll stress you out, flicking your forehead, all the while organizing anything himself. He's more likely to call to reschule something if he's in that mood, but he's still more likely to hand you a new organized draft of your appointments, etc., tell you to review it and fix whatever you need, and walk off to return to whatever he was doing beforehand.
He's a tougher one, emotionally, but he really does care about you—even if he's grumpy about it.
||> Scarecrow
Jonathan has definitely pulled the "is that what you're scared of?" card when he learned about your anxiety.
Whether it is or not, while he'll definitely take your anxiety lightly at first, he won't for long. Your worrying over being late, something that is late, or any other variation will get to him, and he will find a way to ease it.
He's not as likely to get hauled up and lost on time compared to the previous two, but he has his moments. He's particular about knowing and remembering what he needs to, and he's got plenty of notes and calendars marked up with reminders. So even if you don't forget about appointments and things you need to get done, he'll mark it or write it down anyway, if not for your sake then for his.
Jonathan isn't on board with accompanying you to anywhere if it could result in a catastrophe, but sometimes he will if you're particularly anxious. He's aware of the risks posed, and he doesn't want you dragged into whatever mess starts up, but he'll take chances.
Unlike the other two, he won't reschedule stuff for you. But, he's willing to help if you're not sure how to manage your schedule without getting anxiety.
Jonathan has some go-to's when it comes to helping your anxiety—usually it's a warm drink, like tea or coffee, but he'll make something else if there's something that actually helps you calm down. He's not that earnest when it comes to soothing with affection, but sometimes he'll hold you, or hold your hands and talk to you or listen, whatever is preferred and needed. He worked in psychology for years, and had some experience with counseling—he's learned a thing or two.
He knows your anxiety won't just disappear, but if he can help you lessen it, he'll do it. He'll try.
