Can we just assume that whenever Yuuri’s fans have questions about things they go to Phichit? Because we all know Yuuri’s never on social media, what other choice do they have?

Yuuri retires after Sochi, Phichit gets tagged in a handful of posts- @phichit+chu explain?

Phichit thinks for a bit and makes a post basically saying he can’t explain much, just that some personal things have come up and he encourages his followers to send Yuuri much love.

A couple days later the Stammi video gets put up and everyone freaks out, Phichit gets tagged way too many times-  @phichit+chu explain?

Phichit just laughs. Yuuri’s been a @v-nikiforov fan since like forever, trust me, this isn’t a new development.

And then like a few days later the Victor retires and people are speculating about Yuuri and Japan and all that jazz-  @phichit+chu explain?

And Phichit has no idea what’s going on. Don’t know why you’re asking me, @v-nikiforov confirm?

@v-nikiforov doesn’t confirm, Phichit wasn’t expecting him to.

The next day someone posts a gif of a twerking squirrel or something else equally random like  @phichit+chu explain?

Phichit just laughs. Obviously someone leaked footage of @christophe-gc.

Chris responds, of course-  @phichit+chu explain your salty attitude.

And thus the meme begins.

It’s all fun, people post random crap and Phichit comes up with terrible explanations.

And then someone posts a picture of the lip balm incident like  @phichit+chu explain?????

Phichit’s kind of at a loss. I don’t really know what’s going on here? Maybe it’s just had chapped lips. Maybe someone’s flirting? Who knows? @v-nikiforov confirm?

A few more pictures of Yuuri and Victor pop up, each tagged with some variation of  @phichit+chu explain??

Phichit’s responses are great, of course. 

Can I still use #couplegoals if they’re not officially a couple?  @v-nikiforov confirm?

Another b/w doodle thing

a soft thought for your consideration: viktor nikiforov, notorious polyglot and bookworm extraordinaire, getting to share some of his favorite things with his life and love

stories are a good way to fill a lonely heart, even if only for a little while, and viktor has known this all his life. he supposes his childhood love for fairy tales might have shaped him into the hopeless romantic that he grew into, searching and searching for something he didn’t quite know how to see.

(oh, he sees it now, clear as day and brighter than the sun glinting off the ring on his finger.)

his apartment is full of bookshelves that are filled to the brim, neatly arranged and very stuffed. he has several copies of the same books, some in french, some in russian, some in english. he loves the way the words of the same story taste different when told in a new tongue. it never ceases to amaze him.

lately, he’s been adding a few in japanese.

some nights, he curls up with a mug of steaming tea (the blend hiroko katsuki uses, which yuuri packed half his suitcase full of) and a blanket and a well-worn, much-loved copy of les misérables in the original french. it’s quiet. it’s peaceful. yuuri looks down at the page, tells him he’s brilliant and kisses his hair, then quietly sits with him and plays pokémon on his ds.

other nights, yuuri joins him, settling against his chest and listening, quietly enraptured, as viktor reads russian literature to him. tolstoy, war and peace. sometimes he stops him with a touch of a finger, asks for the meaning of a word he didn’t quite understand, and viktor kisses his fingertip before explaining.

yuuri always smiles just so whenever viktor reads to him, even in french, when he doesn’t understand a word. viktor asks what that little smile is supposed to mean, and yuuri gives him a look of such adoration that he almost melts on the spot.

“i like hearing your voice,” he says, shrugging as if it’s just that simple, and lays his head back against viktor’s chest. “read to me more?”

other nights, he likes to read dramatically, putting on voices for every character and exaggerating them to comic effect. yuuri says that viktor’s voice is the nicest sound he’s ever heard, but viktor has to disagree.  he’s pretty sure the world will never top yuuri katsuki-nikiforov’s laugh.

they’re doing the dishes together on a sunny afternoon, yuuri soaping while viktor rinses, and he just keeps thinking about stories. beginnings, middles, endings. and eventually he speaks up.

“hey, yuuri,” he says, and when yuuri looks up at him and the sunlight catches in his hair, the question dies in his throat because his answer is already right in front of him. he asks it anyway. “do you think we’ll get to live happily ever after?”

yuuri blinks at him, then breaks into a beautiful smile. he bumps viktor’s hip playfully, passes him a soapy ladle, and easily answers, “aren’t we already?”

Yuuri was the one who came up with the idea of the pairs skate exhibition. Admittedly, it was a little self indulgent on his part. He’d gotten to skate with Victor in practice, but that wasn’t the same as skating an entire routine with him. Yuuri didn’t expect Victor to be as enthusiastic about the idea as he was. 

Practising the routine was a little difficult at first, because despite getting used to having Victor so close to him, Yuuri wasn’t so used to the delicate touches against his skin, waist, hands. He had to trust his partner, and he did, but he also got distracted. In the first few practice sessions of their pair skate, Yuuri would get lost in a moment, focus too long on the way Victor’s hands felt as they supported him. He’d forget to move a certain way, their skates would clash and they’d end up a mess of limbs on the ground.

Once Victor was sure Yuuri wasn’t hurt, he’d always laugh and joke, saying things like, “I know I’m distracting, but you have to keep moving.”

Yuuri got his payback by brushing his hand against Victor’s cheek, catching him off guard and causing him to stumble. Victor thought it was so cute, he insisted they keep it in the routine. Yuuri enjoyed it too much to say no.

Victor has a kink for Yuuri in his clothes. Yuuri wearing his worn out sleep shirt that’s way too big; Yuuri wearing his striped blue and white shirt; Yuuri wearing his Russian National team jacket; Yuuri wearing his Eros costume. Any time Yuuri is wearing Victor’s clothes, Victor’s nose turns pink and at some point Yuuri finds himself on his back with a certain Russian tongue doing Things to him
