“I’m a big snack person, and I have a terrible sweet tooth, I’d rather work a bit harder in the gym and be able to eat what I want, and I like having things to munch on throughout the day. When we’re shooting, I’ll snack on fruit and healthier things, but I definitely have hidden candies. I’m always at craft services getting cookies, too. I’m like the Cookie Monster—that’s my go-to snack. If I had to choose one thing to have on a desert island, it would be a lot of cookies. There are so many different types that you could never get bored.”

“hey -- you’re the one who brought it up. i’ve been doing standing back tucks since i was ten; you should’ve done your research before challenging me.��� he shot dylan a teasing grin, bumping the other boy’s shoulder with his own. he took a seat behind his drink, taking a long sip. he took his taco from dylan eagerly and took a bite, humming contentedly to himself. “mmm, nah,” he started, his mouth still mostly full. he swallowed his bite of taco and tried again, mouth free to form full words again. “this is a special treat just for you; most just get my charming personality.” he shot dylan a wink, bring his taco back up to his face and taking another bite.

“Okay, even though you’ve just proven to me that it’s physically possible, @rivcrvs, I maintain the fact that it’s literally impossible for my body to even get halfway there.” Because, what better way to show your total inability to get anything remotely physical done than to ask a literal gymnast to exemplify? “But regardless of how athletic you actually are, which I should’ve known before challenging you – I think our tacos are done. And by that I mean the ones that I’m now paying thanks to being schooled. Have I told you lately that you rule? You do - rule.” With a small self-deprecating smile, and a shake of his head, Dylan hurried over towards the food truck to retrieve what was meant to be a nutritious attempt at a full lunch, placing both cardboard dishes by the drinks they’d already previously bought. “Do you show off like this for every luncheon, or am I special? Just kidding. Mostly.”

“Think of the sticky mess. How would you even package those to begin with?” Her initial reaction was betrayed by an overly enthusiastic motion towards the offered cookie, though, to be fair, she was just rejecting the notion of the missing cookie ends. “One time, back in junior high or around there, one kid tried to pull the old ‘switch the stuff with tooth paste’. He was a complete amateur - and he used sparkly blue toothpaste, so.” She proceeded to twist the cookie open, more than content to nibble on the stuffing before eating the chocolate-y sides.

“right?! they’d all just melt together no matter what you did, and then you’d just have a block of creme instead of individual circles of it -- although, i’m sure some nasties would still eat it that way.” he took an oreo for himself and took a bit, looking up thoughtfully. “i might be biased, though, since i’m a biter. i like having the mix of the cookie and the creme, so i’ve never been one to eat the creme separately. the all stuff ones would just never work for me.”

asher looked up from his laptop with a start, opened to the digital short he and cece were working on through a shared google doc. he’d been so absorbed in his work that he hadn’t even realized sage was home, and it took an extra moment for him to process sage’s words. he narrowed his eyes playfully, setting his laptop to the side. “oh? since when are you my favorite roommate? i’m pretty sure fred the ghost beat you out after last month’s rooftop olympics.” after a few seconds, he broke and nudge sage in the side with his elbow. “of course i’ll help you, ya doof.”

@rivcrvs – SAGE leaped over the couch, landing very abruptly next to his roommate. having a few days off had made him restless, especially knowing that he was getting entirely too close for comfort to filming some of he more intense cheer leading scenes on lesliean. though he was new to zenith, he was no stranger to acting. however, he’d been so excited for his role as liam, he didn’t anticipate the amount of effort he would have to put into it. as soon as he found out about asher’s cheer leading past, he had decided to take full advantage of it. “i need some help,” he stated simply, resting his chin upon his hands. “with these cheer leading scenes. can you help your favorite roommate out?”

monty accepted an oreo with a smile – he’d always had a soft spot for them. they’d been his favorite on-set treat as a child, so his parents always made sure to have their pantry fully stocked. he gingerly twisted the cookie open, eating one of the halves. he held onto the half the filling clung onto, turning it in the light as he spoke. “ i dunno… that dangerously short shelf life sounds like a challenge. one that might be worth winnin’, if the creme’s your favorite part. ”  a pause. a crunch.  “ you’re right though, double stuff is the supreme. have you tried the golden double stuff? they’re like… ‘nilla wafers, but with a lil’ added joy. ”

asher took another oreo for himself, taking a bite out of it. “you can take that challenge all you want, but i’m gonna sit it out; playing cookie roulette with a bag of creme filling seems like a trip to the hospital waiting to happen. i’ll totally drive you to the emergency room after, though.” he shot monty a grin, popping the rest of the oreo in his mouth. “oh! i totally have some back at my apartment. want me to bring ‘em in tomorrow? we can have a lunch date again and share.”

“I am definitely not an Oreo connoisseur, sadly! What exactly are the All Stuff Oreos, and what are the difference between them and Double Stuff? Enlighten me, please.”

“you’ve come to the right place, my friend; i consider myself an expert in the art of oreos.” he grinned, shooting her a wink. “the all stuff oreos were an april fool’s day prank played by this graphic artist on twitter, and it sparked the great debate of ‘would these be amazing or disgusting?’ sides were picked, families and friends torn apart; the great oreo war was a a morbid time in these here united states -- but i’m getting off topic. the all stuff oreos were supposedly just a package of the creme center with no cookies -- which is, obviously, disgusting. the double stuff oreos are regular oreos with double the filling, or at least almost double the filling. there’s a lot of speculation after some guy decided to bring math into it, but i trust in my mother oreo.”

      “   all stuf oreos would also be terribly messy and it would be impossible to eat more than three at a time without feeling sick. you need a balance of cookie and creme.   ”   they shake their head at the offer.   “   i’m good thank you. you know that double stuffed isn’t even double stuffed, right   ?  ”

“yeah, exactly! you read my mind, truly. but i gotta say, it was a genius prank and i salute the guy behind.” he shrugged and turned the package back towards himself, pulling one out and biting off half of it at once. “c’mon, let me live in my denial. child me was absolutely crushed when i heard, and i can’t disappoint child me again; he’s sensitive.”

“in theory, though, wouldn’t the all stuff oreos get bad quickly? i can’t imagine the shelf life for the creme center would be very long.” he bit into another oreo, turning the package to his companion to offer them one. “i think i’ll stick with the good ole double stuff, myself, even if the all stuff oreos were just an april fool’s day prank.”

hey friends here’s my attempt at writing an intro when the light hurts

( alberto rosende / cismale / he/him ) the paparazzi have spotted ASHER RIVERA, the TWENTY-THREE year old ACTOR who’s currently working as FEATURED CAST on THAT’S SO RANDOM. the tabloids have called them EXCITABLE and VERSATILE, but also FRIVOLOUS and INDECISIVE. during their time in the spotlight, they’ve been dubbed the ADORKABLE.

weren’t we just here a couple days ago ?? yes and we all know i have a problem

anyway asher here is a cutie cute cute

was born into a working class family, the youngest of two ( has one sister who’s a year older )

his dad worked in construction and his mom was a seamstress so asher learned to sew at a young age

when he was five and his sister was six she decided to join peewee cheerleading and not to be left out asher decided he wanted to do it as well

( his dad tried to steer him towards football but after he and his sister watched bring it on he decided cheerleading was far superior and definitely more challenging than trying to knock people over )

his sister eventually decided to leave cheerleading but asher stuck with it, eventually joining his middle school then high school cheerleading teams

he was called many names by mean boys but asher never let it get to him bc he was just doin him

his sister joined the theatre club when she got to high school so when asher got there ofc he did too ( tho he stayed behind the scenes bc they needed more help there and his sister was onstage )

ran the switchboard for the plays and musicals and also helped his mom with costumes beforehand

he got accepted into university of michigan’s design & production program ( lighting design focus ) and got a cheerleading scholarship and a few grants and other scholarships to cover the tuition costs

joined the sketch comedy troupe on campus bc boy was funny as hell and gr8 at improv

he was v much the kid who sat in the back of class w snacks ( and somehow managed to ace all of the tests still )

did v well for himself at umich and after graduating a professor gave him a glowing recommendation and he got a job at steppenwolf in chicago

while working there he also started taking classes at second city and eventually worked his way into their live shows

when a spot opened up on that’s so random he jumped at the chance to audition and got in !!!!

he’s on his second season as a featured cast member and he’s having so much fun doing what he loves

he does a lot of digital shorts and will often do physical comedy during live sketches bc of his cheerleading background

ok so personality wise he’s pretty over the top and dramatic

he’s a big ole gay ( like he’s technically bi but it’s like 85% guys and 15% girls )

v good at gymnastics shit bc of cheerleading so you’ll see him flipping around all the time just bc

10/10 recommend plotting w him bc he’s a fckin cutie

i’m gonna attempt some wcs now but they’re probably gonna be the same as usual

friends/exes/hook-ups/flirtationships/fwbs U KNOW the usual

can he have a cheerleader friend pls ??? it’s important

anyone he can geek out w over good lighting
